thanks for a great review. I am on the fence on getting a TT, a used one, since I cannot afford the new ones. I currently have a 10 year old A4 and it has been very sturdy and consistent.

Man, when I saw you trying to get out of the back seats I was kindda stop breathing LOL
The owners' manual of my 2012 TT states no one should sit in the back seat of the TT who measures greater the 4 feet 5 inches otherwise neck injury may occur from contact with the rear glass hatch door section. HAVING SAID THAT, the REAR GLASS AREA WILL NOT COLLECT RAIN ON IT WHILE TRAVELLING AT SPEEDS GREATER THAN 50 MPH !!!
I believe the real reason you have impractical back seats was primarily to reduce your insurance costs as it is then classed as a 4 seater as opposed to a 2 seater thoroughbred ;)

only its not exactly all wheel drive :P Not all of Audi's quattro systems work the same way. The MkII audi TT quattro is a front wheel drive car that ONLY engages the rear wheel when the car is losing grip.
I have one exactly the same but the UK and I absolutely love it. However it would be better in the US for the fuel !
