Yo fam, this works perfect with the front and back of my hair but the sides just stick out and pop up. What do I do? Should I cut the sides?

You could cut it or you could brush it down before you style the rest of your hair.. I'm busy growing out the sides of my hair and it gets hectic sometimes💀💀 so I basically just brush it down before I style the rest of my hair..

dude i already tried the same shit but with coconut oil. But, at the end, i wash my hair with cold water and the final result is awesome, you gotta try. Do the same as you did here but end with a quick cold water wash

Came for some motivation to keep keep growing (6 months in), but lol my hair just stays dry and frizzy. Cutting it in the morning.

My hair reaches my nose when pulled down but it’s about eyebrow length imma grow it for 1 year then cut it all off and start again as my hair ranges from 3a- 3c hair and it’s annoying also I wanna get waves so imma have to cut it anyways

Shaun my daughter's hair does too.
We have to do the cherry Lola method then the Aztec clay mask for maximum hydration, it's a deep conditioning treatment, definitely definitely suggest looking it up
Or the cardi b hair mask similar to cherry Lola but skips a few ingredients.
We also go for a sticky or thicker oil, usually called oil serums. If it's watery and not like a liquid slime you got the wrong type. And make sure it's in a dark black or brown GLASS bottle, Aragon oil serum, mix with keratin oil serum and black castor oil Jamaican. Use those 3 oil serums, also use Camille rose honey hydration for the leave in,
Wash day apply masks clinse hair condition hair, moisturize hair, then before you dry your hair while it's still wet apply your Camille rose honey hydration leave in conditioner (the stuff looks legit like honey smells amazing), then put a small amount of each oil serum rub together mixing them then apply.
Sometimes we do add a butter or a cream too, and some wash days we do a protein treatment as well as the hair masks.
Since we started taking the extra steps and sticking with certain products which we still try different brand oil serums but their always serums an always in black glass bottles(very very important detail the way they are stored don't waste your money if their not at least in a dark bottle but glass bottles are number one. The darkened bottle matters it helps the oils keep it's nutritional value)
But we always get Camille rose honey hydration leave in conditioner and the Aztec clay mask
Also keep misting your hair with water throughout your process of applying oil serums an leave in

Also washing too often with harsh products can definitely be a issue with dry frizzy hair my bf has 4c texture and mistakingly washes every single day, no oils no nothing he started getting breakage
We got him wearing finger coils to help keep his hair moisturized detangled at all times
I really think finger coils are healthy if done right
