good day sir! can you make a video on how to cut your own hair using only scissors? there are a lot of guys who doesn't have their own clippers, including me, so it will be a big help especially during this time.
People might find it difficult initially but in just few cuts you will get it perfect.. I started my own haircut watching his tutorials.. people say now I am cutting better than our local barbers..
Timely video. Hardest part for me was using mirrors and battling my brain to go opposite direction from what I am seeing when doing the back of my head.
I've cut my own hair once and awhile too. Started just doing buzz cuts years ago now have been working on my own fades. Depending on the length of hair and what you want to accomplish it can be very difficult and time consuming. The 2nd mirror is a great idea. Also the blend work is an art form that practice does makes perfect. Great videos man keep them coming.
I took some notes, as I have not had a haircut for a long time. Due to the lockdown, I will have to cut it myself. Waiting for my Wahl - 'Lithium' Power Clipper to arrive :) 00:20 position mirror on door trim 00:35 position mirror against the wall 00:48 position mirror 45⁰ from the wall 02:12 360⁰ view of the head before the fade The mirror is at 45⁰ from the wall 02:26 #1 guard level (1/8" / 3mm) halfway open, bring guideline 1/2" (13 mm), drop fade near the back of the head 03:46 #2 guard level (1/4" / 6mm) halfway open, go up 1" (25 mm) from initial guideline (in previous attempts it was 0.5" (1.3 cm)), now the fade can be stretched out 05:08 #1 guard level (1/8" / 3mm) open, start blending hard line from the initial guideline, go up 1/4" (6 mm) and flick up and away from the head 06:19 #2 guard level (1/4" / 6mm) open, take out some bulk by flicking up 1/2" (13 mm) and away from the head. Stand up straight, don't lean body a lot to remain angled perception and hand-eye coordination. The mirror is on the door trim 07:05 use thinning shears and comb, use scissor over comb technique to blend in bulkier hair with the fade-in created by the clippers. 09:09 use trimmer to get lines trimmed at edges 11:04 final 360⁰ view of the head after the fade
Aprendi mais com esse cara do que com diversos vídeos de cabeleireiros brasileiros que ficam presos aos pentes especiais 0,5 e 1,5 para fazer uma fade massa. Inclusive cortando o próprio cabelo. Quem for BR deixa o like ;)
Why a thumbs-down for some of these viewers? Keep it up Alex. What you do is better than most professionals. Your mirror setup makes a world of difference.
Your channel has every detailed steps to fade your own hair with explanation throughout the whole process, unlike all the others just showing what guards to use. The mirror positioning is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again!
My man, I need this tutorial but for people who are short-sighted (wear glasses). If I take em off I can't see anything, if I keep them on I can't get my sides right. I feel like I am doing these tutorials on some "insane"-like level. You got any tips? I've seen people flip their glasses infront of their eyes, hold em like this and then cut as usual, but I don't think that this is a good solution.
Have you ever thought of wearing eye contact lenses? I have contacts for distance but I still use them to see when cutting my hair. I use Acuvue Oasys as my contact lenses. I hope this helps!
What I do is, I get old glasses remove the side frames and let the front part sit on my nose bridge. If they keep falling off use tape to stick them to your forehead. Cheaper than contact lenses. Your prescription would not have changed much, plus I keep my old glasses for football so that I do not break my current ones. I am not being funny, i'm deadly serious lol. we are in crazy times I just make do! If you dont still have your old glasses you can always remove the frames from your new ones and put them back in but thats up to you, you have time.
i'm no expert but often i'll take my glasses off *only* when doing the spots immediately around the ear. not even a half inch radius or so. you have to be a little careful but it's not too hard.
Literally did this 2 days ago opening my medicine cabinet and leaving it up against that so I had a 3 mirror set up. Cleanest fade I’ve given myself in the last couple of months!
You helped me with all your videos for my first dope haircut!. First time in my life cutting my own hair due to quarantine and couldn't have done it without you!. The mirror set up was the best!. It helped with cutting my hair. I've seen other videos and yours was the easiest set up and helped free up my hands. No need to grab on a hand held mirror. I also love the contacts tips in your other video. I wear glasses so that made it better to cut. Thanks again!. People love my haircut and it's thanks to YOU!.
OMG! Thanks for the video! It makes it so much easier then trying to hold a mirror with my other hand! The 45 degree trick works like a charm. Now I can see everything i'm doing!
On top of the cheap mirror, what about adding an iPad or something, if available? You can set up a phone behind you and FaceTime yourself and have a constant view of what's happening back there.
No.. Just initially.. in just few cuts you will get it perfect.. I started my own haircut watching his tutorials.. people say now I am cutting better than our local barbers..
Just did my try today but followed your most popular upload video through. I did not know you made a mirror setup video so my first attempt was ok, i used hand held mirror which was very hard to work with as finding right angle was a nightmare lol anyway kinda proud of how it turned out. Next time it will be this mirror setup so let's goooooo. Huge Thanks to Alex for making some of these awesome tutorials !
I used to cut my own hair about 30 years ago cos the local barbaers used to " f "up my flat top. Never expected to start doing it again. I have to say, you guys doing these tutorials are seriously helping people out. Respect.
Been watching your videos and did my first simple cut a month ago.. went pretty good for having basic tools. Going to get the Walmart mirror and a shear set to take it to the next level. Thanks for making these
Awosome! I will try this technique in two weeks, as I just cut myself my hair last Saturday, I didn't get what I wanted, but with your videos I'm sure it will be way better next tine. Greetings from Mexico!
Your Mirror Setup. I expected much better than what you show. I imagine the best way is to fasten smaller adjustable mirrors to be fixed to the wall-fitted mirror. The smaller mirrors fastened to the larger mirror using a piano hinge. See if you can do this yourself. A light above the main mirror would help. I want to do this myself, I just haven't got round to it. Two items I purchased that help enormously: 1) Neck Hairline Guide. 2) Prochive Beard Trim Catcher. From Amazon UK. Both low-cost items. Considered, worth it. Laminate a mirror with any fabulon sticky sheet. That Walmart mirror is going to drop someday. (UK)
Alex, could you please do an oil and maintenance video on the WAHL clippers. I am starting to cut my hair now, and your videos are a great orientation and inspiration. By the way your most favorite part of hair cutting, fading the back, is my most challenging one. ! Great videos, Thanks.
For the guys who cut their own hair on the regular... How long does it take you to cut your own hair, including set up and clean up? (Hairstyles only, not buzzcuts)
Hay Alex, that was a 100% awesome brother, I did minds last week and from 1-10 10 being perfect my cut was a 7. My girlfriend give me 10, I see l see a little line, I'm a perfectionist, Thanks to you I don't gotta go to a Barber again, lol
My mirror setup for the back is the hardest part for me. My arms always seem blocking my view. I've cut enough off that I already feel so much cleaner but will try more tomorrow.
Encouraged by your videos, I did finally succeed to cut my own hair, but, what I found really hard, especially for the beginner, those fade cuts. Considering my results weren't that bad, and it was my very first cut ever, although those fades are so so tricky to do. I used a hand mirror as secondary, which made the process even harder, but I am really happy that I could do it eventually! Thank you, Alex!
We have the same hair color and skin shadow so it looks best with a taper fade or medium to high with the bevel starting mid high or at the occipital bump. The bevel needs to be angled out slightly for the sides and normal at the back.
I love what you're doing here, Alex! Your haircuts look great and efficient, the production quality is high, I like the music (good choice with Instinct), and your commentary is very helpful and funny. I gave the fade a shot and it looks good, but I need more practice. I'm not ready to go for the crisp lines, the fade isn't smooth, and I haven't touched the hair at the top of the head yet. I find it hard to believe that I gave this haircut to myself when I catch myself in the mirror, though; it looks good! Thanks for the videos :-D
I didn't even think of a full length mirror like this. Thanks for bringing common sense to a "duh" moment. Haha. Handheld mirrors have a limit when doing a haircut. Cheers!
Crazy good video man, I wanted to cut my hair all of quarantine but I didn't know how to go about it, this video is super detailed and gives me confidence to try!
Change all of your bathroom light bulbs to white LED lights. Old yellow lights create a shadow and you won't be able to see any details on your head. Definitely change to white LED light bulbs!
I bought that Walmart mirror, mine has a white frame and was priced at 10.97$ CAD Thanks for the amazing setup video, can’t wait to start my self-hair cutting journey once I get my clippers from amazon lol
Hey man, is there a difference if you have clippers without the open/close blade? I have a clipper with metal guards, still that line between the fade and the higher part is visible, always end up going too short too high. Thanks for the tips.
I haven't watched this vid but whenever I try cutting my hair I get the fade good on the sides but then the back I just have no fucking clue what I'm doing because I'm scared to go too high up, even with a mirror. I also have a no-lever clipper and only one attachment that's adjustable from 1 to 23 [i believe it's millimeters] (which is huge, and gets in the way when all you're trying to do is cut short) so that doesn't help either
I bought a mirror and Wahl magic clip 5. I still struggle with moving my hands according to the mirror. I know some might find this funny. But as a newbie I wanted to ask, Do you have any advices on controlling the machine easier according to what I see on the mirror? I gave myself few haircuts and took my time as you said. I find it very enjoyable and also calming that I can fix my hair alone and also look groomed on demand. Getting ur hair done even for males became so expensive where I live. After 5 haircuts u get back the worth of a new Wahl magic clip 5. Thanks for your vids, they are great.
Alex, I'm guessing you don't have kids or else you'd probably post the outtakes where they burst into the room. The combination of self shooting video, giving yourself a haircut, and mirror placement could've been a hilarious disaster! Oh, and great job with the vids BTW!
I actually haven't watched a 360 Jeezy video since college around 3 years ago. I just remember his videos being really fun and exciting and I want my content to give off a similar positivity, but with my own style! Thanks for watching! 😃
Please do not use normal scissors! Thinning shears are specifically made to thin bulky sections and blending. Regular shears cut the hair 100% off. Unless you have done it before and have very steady hands, I would not recommend using regular home scissors. You can buy thinning shears anywhere for under $10!
Is the mirror on the wall the set up? If so, I’ve got the same set up and the same Wahl clippers. Copied your other vid this morning’s. done a decent cut so I appreciate your help. Used a different mirror though 🤪
I would definitely recommend you buy a pair if you don't have them. You should be able to find a cheap pair around $10. They will be worth the investment, trust me! Thanks for watching! More great content coming soon 😃
How long does it take you to get your hair cut? Because it took me about 3.5 - 4 hours for the first time. Since the haircut, I forgot to have breakfast, and rehydration is definitely unnecessary. 😅😆
Can i start with a number 2 halfway open make the initial guideline then Go up half an inch above initial guideline all around.. with number 3 halfway open?and a number 2 open between initial and second guidelines flicking up number 3 open to reduce bulk on both sides of my head?
Yes that should work too. Just make sure you separate each guard by atleast 1/2 an inch and use the lever to flick out the hard line. Thanks for your support! More great content coming soon! 😄
I like you cut amazing results i too have been cutting for well over 20 years but i have thick asian type hair so its harder to cut especially the blending part on the back. I wish you would have a video for that, other then that amazing video.
Thanks so much for this vid Alex, so well made and explained! I've been using this technique since March and I swear I will never pay for a haircut again 😁 such a good skill to learn, so thankyou! I was wondering if you could explain, or do another video on how to do the same cut but shorter, starting off with a 0.5 and going up in length? Is it the same with half guard 0.5 and then 1, then 0.5 open to get rid of the line or is there more to it? Cheers mate keep up the good work! Tim from England!
Very well presented. Many thanks. Essential at the time of any pandemic and lockdown. Waiting for my kit to arrive. The real test will be after my trial.
Thanks for watching! What are two things you want to improve on from your last self-haircut?
good day sir! can you make a video on how to cut your own hair using only scissors? there are a lot of guys who doesn't have their own clippers, including me, so it will be a big help especially during this time.
Wow, such an independent man! Good job!
People might find it difficult initially but in just few cuts you will get it perfect.. I started my own haircut watching his tutorials.. people say now I am cutting better than our local barbers..
ppl say, u got like portfolio/evidence for that
The fact he’s cut his hair 3x during quarantine is crazy cuz I haven’t at all ..... this is giving me some motivation
You've got this! Patience and focus! 😃
He is the male Rapunzel, his hairs are growing during the night with a speed of 1mm per minute ;)
I’ve been cutting my own hair for five years now and I’ve never seen great self haircut tutorials here on RUclips so thank you !
Awesome! Thank you and thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more content real soon! 😃
Timely video. Hardest part for me was using mirrors and battling my brain to go opposite direction from what I am seeing when doing the back of my head.
It takes a little bit of practice to get used to that but you can also do so with the clippers off just to get used to the motions!
I wish I still had a head of hair like that! Cherish it my friend...cherish it.
😢
So true
I second that!!
Lmao why you watching this then hahahaha
@@OutAroundAndAgain "hair like that" most likely referring to no receding hairline. You still have to cut your hair if your hairline has recessed.
I've cut my own hair once and awhile too. Started just doing buzz cuts years ago now have been working on my own fades. Depending on the length of hair and what you want to accomplish it can be very difficult and time consuming. The 2nd mirror is a great idea. Absolutely! Thank you for watching! New self-haircut video coming next week 😃
I took some notes, as I have not had a haircut for a long time. Due to the lockdown, I will have to cut it myself. Waiting for my Wahl - 'Lithium' Power Clipper to arrive :)
00:20 position mirror on door trim
00:35 position mirror against the wall
00:48 position mirror 45⁰ from the wall
02:12 360⁰ view of the head before the fade
The mirror is at 45⁰ from the wall
02:26 #1 guard level (1/8" / 3mm) halfway open, bring guideline 1/2" (13 mm), drop fade near the back of the head
03:46 #2 guard level (1/4" / 6mm) halfway open, go up 1" (25 mm) from initial guideline (in previous attempts it was 0.5" (1.3 cm)), now the fade can be stretched out
05:08 #1 guard level (1/8" / 3mm) open, start blending hard line from the initial guideline, go up 1/4" (6 mm) and flick up and away from the head
06:19 #2 guard level (1/4" / 6mm) open, take out some bulk by flicking up 1/2" (13 mm) and away from the head. Stand up straight, don't lean body a lot to remain angled perception and hand-eye coordination.
The mirror is on the door trim
07:05 use thinning shears and comb, use scissor over comb technique to blend in bulkier hair with the fade-in created by the clippers.
09:09 use trimmer to get lines trimmed at edges
11:04 final 360⁰ view of the head after the fade
Sheesh. I appreciate this comment!! Thank you! 😃
Don't forget 4.34 !!! Or else you will lose the focus !

Why a thumbs-down for some of these viewers? Keep it up Alex. What you do is better than most professionals. Your mirror setup makes a world of difference.
The ratio is exceptionally good, so it just gets ignored on RUclips. There's always a percentage of thumbs down for whatever peculiar reasons.
Your channel has every detailed steps to fade your own hair with explanation throughout the whole process, unlike all the others just showing what guards to use. The mirror positioning is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again!

It still seems like the voice over is just a random American guy translating for his Greek friend
Can't you imagine that a greek guy can speak perfectly english?
Reminds me of a ROD....a milli
Not true, just check this video,
ruclips.net/video/PJ04JCivMXI/видео.html
Lmao what the fuck
Lol it's actually me in the video and doing the voice over. Watch my 10,000 subscriber video as proof haha.

Mirror setup is key, also good lighting helps a lot
Hey bro I cut hair for a living and I even found some great tips from ya man keep doing your thing 👌🏽🤙🏽 @AlexKouras
3:30 bro checking himself out 👽😉
He is so proud of himself making those fade out :)
I use my GoPro and mount it to see myself live but the video quality isn’t there
This is way harder than it looks, he makes it look easy
No..
Just initially.. in just few cuts you will get it perfect.. I started my own haircut watching his tutorials.. people say now I am cutting better than our local barbers..
Me:
Clippper: say no more fam.
My hair: ight imma headout.
Just did my try today but followed your most popular upload video through. I just bought the same mirror in walmart and in 2024 and its still $7!
I used to cut my own hair about 30 years ago cos the local barbaers used to " f "up my flat top. Never expected to start doing it again. I have to say, you guys doing these tutorials are seriously helping people out. Respect.
Thank you I appreciate that! 😃
Been watching your videos and did my first simple cut a month ago.. went pretty good for having basic tools. Going to get the Walmart mirror and a shear set to take it to the next level. Thanks for making these
That's awesome to hear Dustin. I'm happy I could help you save that $!
Honestly 2 guards is all you need, and the end product is amazing. Will definitely try this tomorrow. Thanks bro !
You got this! Thanks for your support! More great content coming soon! 😄
Awosome! I will try this technique in two weeks, as I just cut myself my hair last Saturday, I didn't get what I wanted, but with your videos I'm sure it will be way better next tine. Greetings from Mexico!
You got this! And thank you! New self-haircut video coming next week 😃
(UK)
Yeah his mirror setup is not that helpful for the back. And in the video he basically doesn't even look at it
Alex, could you please do an oil and maintenance video on the WAHL clippers. I am starting to cut my hair now, and your videos are a great orientation and inspiration. By the way your most favorite part of hair cutting, fading the back, is my most challenging one. ! Great videos, Thanks.
Great suggestion! I will definitely get to that video soon! Thank you for watching! 😃
Lol I have that exact mirror in my room. Now to butcher my hair...
You've got this! Patience and focus!
Remember dont rush the butcher, a proper butcher takes time.
The mirror thing really helped, cause where I live the trifold is just too expensive... so using just a regular mirror at 45⁰ will be my best bet

For the guys who cut their own hair on the regular... How long does it take you to cut your own hair, including set up and clean up? (Hairstyles only, not buzzcuts)
@Joel Gutierrez Thanks bro. Well done. Much appreciated. How did you get on the second time around? Same/better results? Less time?
@Joel Gutierrez Well done my friend, thanks half the time! 👏 Looks like pretty soon, it won't be worth your time or your money to go to the barbers.
very good I'm cutting my hair alone in the quarantine here in Brazil.
Thank you and you got this! 😃
Hay Alex, that was a 100% awesome brother, I did minds last week and from 1-10 10 being perfect my cut was a 7. My girlfriend give me 10, I see l see a little line, I'm a perfectionist, Thanks to you I don't gotta go to a Barber again, lol

I saw a cord coming out the back and my dumb self was like "mmm wonder how long to fully charge the mirror" 🤦♂️🤪
We have the same hair color and skin shadow so it looks best with a taper fade or medium to high with the bevel starting mid high or at the occipital bump. The bevel needs to be angled out slightly for the sides and normal at the back.
Your intro is killer man. Straight up lit
I appreciate it, thank you! And thanks for watching! 😃
Best self haircut in RUclips
Thank you I appreciate it! And thanks for watching! More great content coming soon 😃
Bold of you to assume my apartment has walls
I love what you're doing here, Alex! Your haircuts look great and efficient, the production quality is high, I like the music (good choice with Instinct), and your commentary is very helpful and funny. I gave the fade a shot and it looks good, but I need more practice. I'm not ready to go for the crisp lines, the fade isn't smooth, and I haven't touched the hair at the top of the head yet. Practice makes perfect Chris. Over time you will get much better! Thanks for watching! New Self-Haircut video next week! 😃
Truly practice makes perfect. Today I tried to cut my own hair but unfortunately I ended up with shaving all my hair off🤣
Lol RIP
Wtf
I use my bathroom mirror and a lighted wall mounted round vanity mirror so that way I can move the mirror where ever I need to to cut my hair myself
just tried cutting my own hair... hardest thing ever LOL
a new youtube star is born
Keep going on, your'e doing it great 👍🏼
Thank you I appreciate it! And thanks for watching! 😃

Crazy good video man, I wanted to cut my hair all of quarantine but I didn't know how to go about it, this video is super detailed and gives me confidence to try!
You got this bro! Thank you and thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more content real soon! 😃
Thxs for repeating the , guards and lever open/close etc . Really helps
My pleasure. Thank you for your support!
The biggest issue I have in my bathroom is lighting. What is the lighting set-up you use or recommend?
Change all of your bathroom light bulbs to white LED lights. Old yellow lights create a shadow and you won't be able to see any details on your head. Definitely change to white LED light bulbs!
My issue is doing a good drop. From the side to the drop..Can you do a detail tutorial on that?
This is revolutionary
I bought that Walmart mirror, mine has a white frame and was priced at 10.97$ CAD Thanks for the amazing setup video, can’t wait to start my self-hair cutting journey once I get my clippers from amazon lol
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! More great content coming soon! 😃
now this is the setup I needed to see
@Alex Kouras I have a question when u faded #1 to #2, why fade with #1 guard all way open and not with #2 closed? Is it the same??
Love this backround soundtrack. Great job!
Thank you! The link is always in the description!
Hey man, is there a difference if you have clippers without the open/close blade? I have a clipper with metal guards, still that line between the fade and the higher part is visible, always end up going too short too high. Thanks for the tips.
How about the light. I have poor lighting in my bathroom. What do you recommend ? I see you have one in the background
Get White LED light bulbs! These are amazing lights. You will see every detail on your head with these!
What is the standing light that you are using in the background?
man this is too good to be true! thank you for sharing hair technique to us! you da man!
It's my pleasure! Thanks for watching! 😃
Love the skill and happy attitude.
I bought a mirror and Wahl magic clip 5. I still struggle with moving my hands according to the mirror.
I know some might find this funny.
But as a newbie I wanted to ask,
Do you have any advices on controlling the machine easier according to what I see on the mirror?
I gave myself few haircuts and took my time as you said.
I find it very enjoyable and also calming that I can fix my hair alone and also look groomed on demand.
Getting ur hair done even for males became so expensive where I live.
After 5 haircuts u get back the worth of a new Wahl magic clip 5.
Thanks for your vids, they are great.
Cut my hair again today and followed this video and come out even better 👌
Awesome job!! 😁
Wow, such an independent man! Good job!
Alex, I'm guessing you don't have kids or else you'd probably post the outtakes where they burst into the room. The combination of self shooting video, giving yourself a haircut, and mirror placement could've been a hilarious disaster!
Oh, and great job with the vids BTW!
Haha that would be funny! Thanks for your support! More great content coming soon! 😄
What do you think about the tri mirror set up like standing up together ?
You must be a huge fan of 360Jeezy's RUclips channel. Like your tutorials and enthusiam. Keep up the good work.
I actually haven't watched a 360 Jeezy video since college around 3 years ago. I just remember his videos being really fun and exciting and I want my content to give off a similar positivity, but with my own style! Thanks for watching! 😃
This is what I’ve been waiting for . Thank you! 😁😁😁
Awesome! I'm happy to hear that! Thanks for watching! 😃
Brilliant mate, who thinks otherwise they are very wrong
Thank you for this amazing video✊🏻
Thank you and thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more content real soon! 😃
What kind of white LED light with tripod stand are you using? Please provide link
How about using the DIY SELF-CUT system?
Great videos by the way!
Did you make already? I just got my 3 mirrors from Walmart
Dude would you recommend using normal scissors if u don't have any thinning one?
Please do not use normal scissors! Thinning shears are specifically made to thin bulky sections and blending. Regular shears cut the hair 100% off. Unless you have done it before and have very steady hands, I would not recommend using regular home scissors. You can buy thinning shears anywhere for under $10!
👍
Good video on mirror setup! I can finally dye (and SEE) the hair in the back of my head! 💁🏻♀️
Betters than the amateur Clippers in sportsclip and great clips
Did my first self haircut yesterday, it’s not 100% perfect, but looks pretty good for the first try, the mirror was essencial
I’ve tried cutting my own hair twice without extra mirrors and both times I failed and went to a barber
Cleanest one yet! I love it. Almost ready to do my own!
You've got this! Thanks for watching! 😃
That's exactly why I prefer to cut my own hair, so I can stop and get hydrated whenever I want.
I have been doing the back of my head blind by feel and check lol gotta get a second mirror
Is the mirror on the wall the set up? If so, I’ve got the same set up and the same Wahl clippers. Copied your other vid this morning’s. done a decent cut so I appreciate your help. Used a different mirror though 🤪
Haha yes! Thank you and thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more content real soon! 😃
What if we don't have thinning shears? Can we use the same technique to cut the top/sides like you did?
I would definitely recommend you buy a pair if you don't have them. You should be able to find a cheap pair around $10. They will be worth the investment, trust me! Thanks for watching! More great content coming soon 😃
This vid will probably help a lot of aspiring barbers out there 😃
Hopefully it helps a lot more people as well! 😃
How long does it take you to get your hair cut? Because it took me about 3.5 - 4 hours for the first time. Since the haircut, I forgot to have breakfast, and rehydration is definitely unnecessary. 😅😆
It usually takes me about 20-25 minutes to fade my hair! Thank you and thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more content real soon! 😃
Lowkey I love and enjoy your videos, they are informative and funny! Great job!
Can i start with a number 2 halfway open make the initial guideline then
Go up half an inch above initial guideline all around.. with number 3 halfway open?and a number 2 open between initial and second guidelines flicking up number 3 open to reduce bulk on both sides of my head?
Yes that should work too. Just make sure you separate each guard by atleast 1/2 an inch and use the lever to flick out the hard line. Thanks for your support! More great content coming soon! 😄
Very well done. I hope we will continue to see more.
Without a doubt! Thank you for watching! 😃
You need to link comb guides as well, so if those aren't available.
What do you mean exactly? Like a video on how to use the comb?
I like you cut amazing results i too have been cutting for well over 20 years but i have thick asian type hair so its harder to cut especially the blending part on the back. I wish you would have a video for that, other then that amazing video.
What keeps the mirror standing up like that without falling???
Thanks so much for this vid Alex, so well made and explained! I've been using this technique since March and I swear I will never pay for a haircut again 😁 such a good skill to learn, so thankyou! I was wondering if you could explain, or do another video on how to do the same cut but shorter, starting off with a 0.5 and going up in length? Is it the same with half guard 0.5 and then 1, then 0.5 open to get rid of the line or is there more to it? Cheers mate keep up the good work! Tim from England!
After seeing this video, I decided to work a barber
Adil you are beatiful...
@@jefrisalgdo yes I want sexy
Very well presented. Many thanks. Essential at the time of any pandemic and lockdown. Waiting for my kit to arrive. The real test will be after my trial.
Thanks for watching! 😃
At 5:20 are you flicking out the line with the corner of your blade or using the whole flat blade to flick it out?
I was flicking out using the whole blade flat against my head. I use the corners if I see little patches that need to be detailed.
@@AlexKouras Thanks 👌
What a great job Alex...you 're always amaze me...bravo👏👏👏❤❤❤
Thank you! Cheers! 😃
I only have a wall mirror. This is gonna be fun
