I pick up my MT07 this week, and have been looking at different reviews for aftermarket accessories. Most of my riding is done on city streets, but I do occasionally hit the highways... Your review has sold me on this particular windscreen.. Just something to take the wind off my torso when I'm on the highway.
Very good review. No apology necessary for your English, you are quite fluent. I have a 2020 MT-07 and have the prior generation Puig touring screen on my bike. I agree that it makes a noticeable difference and the the build quality and materials are quite good.

The light smoke is absolutely gorgeous. Great choice. The screen reminds me of a pileated/crested dino/bird or an Alien Queen. Maybe some Donnie Darko happening. Look at how congruent it is with the stock mirrors

Honestly, I don't know how anyone rides comfortably without one. When my bike was new anything above 60mph and I was like a bobblehead, the new Puig touring screen just deflects enough of the wind to make it more comfortable. I also added a set of hand guards recently, they also make quite a difference .

Just ordered one in black for my 2022 Cyan Storm MT-07 that is arriving in April. No one has the dark smoke available. That was my first choice but black is fine. I just wanted something to block the wind at highway speeds up to 100 MPH or so.
Great video, wish I had watched it before I ordered my Puig sport screen, it arrived and is the size of a potato chip. : / No wind deflection at all. Will have to find one of these!!!
Thanks! :) and yes it does, so there is more wind on the helmet than without the screen, but the wind is not turbulent, it keeps it off my abdomen and most of mu chest so I can hold the handlebars loosely, even on the highway

Hey, thanks :) I got the engine and axle protectors from the yamaha website. Axle protectors are from Billet, engine protectors are yamaha brand. Sw motech has a lot of good protection too, sliders, protection bars, lever guards, etc
Awesome English. Question for you. I have a black MT07 and was considering getting a black touring screen. Do you think the black MT07 screen would obstruct my view after riding with the smoke color screen? I was also considering the smoke color screen.
Hey, no it won't obstruct your view, for me it comes as high as the lowest point of my chest, check my profile pic for reference. If I ride and just look forward, the screen doesn't even come in my field of vieuw :) I think the black screen would make the dash pop out even more so the only thing maybe is to adjust the brightness a bit lower :p

awesome video my friend, you can't even find videos like this when you search on youtube, is it easy to remove for casual city riding? maybe just let the metal brakets installed and when you need the screen you pop it up. would you recommend this for some touring?

And ideed, there are no vids about this screen, I didn't find any either :) the windscreen is easy to remove with just 4 5M allen screws that are under the caps you can see in the video, the brackets are also attached with 2 5M allen screws each :) I would certainly recommend this for longer distance touring because you won't get fatigued because of continuous heavy wind blast on your torso, it allows you to sit more relaxed on the motorcycle
i own a 2022 MT07 & now have 2 windscreens in my closet....they said it would fit a 21-22 model but they don't fit the 2022.....so i just bought another one....this one says it fits a 21-22-23 model....cost 181.xx w/ tax....i hope it fits....i watched a video & the guy said this one fits his 2022...

I can reach it for sure, but with thick winter gloves on it's not always super easy, but I've gotten used to it quite fast :) and I think so too, it fits the motorcycle well. And thank you :D
Ahh denk wel dat dit handig is , ben nog aan twijfel mt07 of r7, denk de mt07 is beter voor te leren rijden maar wil zowiso naar de sport gaan. Mt07 is ook pak goedkoper voor eerste motor denk ik ook

Ik had als eerste motor een cbr125r, da was 330 per jaar, en dan naar een cb600f gegaan en dan was het maar 250eur.. Kwil maar zeggen dat de performance hetzelfde is, als je dan het suspensie probleem oplost dan hebde een geweldige bike natuurlijk :) persoonlijke mening wel natuurlijk

Nah, it's ok, sometimes a bit tight with thick winter gloves on, but 99perc of the time, no problem :)

Jup, that works too, and no turbulence but the wind is redericted opwards so there is more wind on the helmet, but not turbulent. I'm 1m82cm

It vibrates in low revs on my bike, it can move because the headlight has some play

What mpg are you getting?
48mpg now in winter time so about 50 to 52mpg in summer time
