    Love your videos. Thank you! Can you explain what you mean by 1 unit, 2 unit for P3 and P3? And is P2 chosen because of the hypertension?

    Where do I find the anesthesia modifiers (AA, QK etc) in my cpt or hcpcs book? i cant find it

    • @tawniem1838
      @tawniem1838 Год назад +3

      Specifically on the back cover/flap of your HCPCS II book, all of the individual modifiers are also listed in order on the front and back covers/flaps.

    Hi, In the scenario on pg-9, it says CRNA is directed by an anesthesiologist but you picked QK -which it says is directed by a physician. How did you pick that instead of QY? Thanks

    • @DefinitelyNotAFerret
      @DefinitelyNotAFerret 3 месяца назад

      Anesthesiologists are also physicians, so QK is correct

    • @marthahall8167
      @marthahall8167 21 день назад

      I had the same question. What's the difference between QX and QY?

  • @sumanthag115

    Can you explain the difference between QY and QX

    • @jeeveski
      @jeeveski Год назад

      QY is medical direction by an anesthesiologist while QX is medical direction by a physician. maybe?

    • @josefraypon6283
      @josefraypon6283 Год назад +3

      QY is billed for Anesthesiologist while QX is billed for the CRNA

    In the real world would you code the anesthesia with the overall procedure done?

    • @themedicalcodingguy
      @themedicalcodingguy  Год назад

      It will be coded only for anesthesiologist.
      Other codes will be reported for the provider who has done the procedure

    • @jeg791
      @jeg791 Год назад

      So basically In the real world you gonna be using software you send the codes too? You would send the ansthesiologist seperate code to the provider? So basically a medical coder has to know where to send codes? Ive only began sorry but I can't find clear answers for these on RUclips I haven't started my course yet.

    • @jeg791
      @jeg791 Год назад

      Also does a medical coder learn how to use real world software before entering the field or does he learn it on the job,? Thank you so much answer
