I have a Quickie 300m Mini. It is nimble, can turn around in the hallway, and goes so fast on takeoff that the front wheels lift up off of the ground. Fun!
Like you said, the real problem with any power-chair is the price. The only chair Medicare will approve is going to be the cheapest one available you qualify for. It's very frustrating. Some of the chairs are $35 to $50 thousand. That's just criminal.
A lot of times to qualify for a group three wheelchair you need to have neurological disorders like multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and so on. Being a Quadriplegic may also Lead to approval for a chair like a Permobil One of these. However, it's got to affect your mobility in daily life. Things like Parkinson's and whatnot don't count unfortunately.

Getting my 300m mini by Christmas and I’m so excited
Can you please show how to switch to manual mode and be able to push the wheelchair?
Are there some that go faster than others and is it dependant on the price?
