I have the 710 of this chair and I love it! I'm due for an upgrade and looking for a chair for inside the house and when I go places! I guess we'll see what I end up with! I would love to see a review of the quantum stretto! compare to this chair!
Great video. It helped me with the pro/cons. Can this wheelchair go back to a laying position? Is the curved seating comfortable or better without the curve? I have a back injury and wondering if the seating is standard on the chair? Thanks
Hello! So sorry for not getting back to you sooner, thank you so much for getting in touch though. The Q300M Mini has a backrest recline function but not the ability to lie flat. The backrest recline is also not anti-shear so the backrest essentially moves away from you as it reclines. The contoured backrest is very comfortable and offers sufficient lateral stability, this combined with the tension adjustment makes it a good option. Saying that, with your back injury, I would recommend establishing the correct level of support needed first through a clinician/physio before deciding on the chair. Hope this helps
Thanks for the video. Any thoughts this Q300M mini on car ramps or slopes? The spec sheet says safe at 6 degrees...? (not great, I would think). Also does this chair get beached much on slopes?
Hi Geoff, thanks so much for getting in touch. The Q300M Mini naturally has it's limitations and will definitely struggle on steeper than specified gradients. The traction and articulation is impressive but is very much dependent on the centre of gravity. As soon as this is shifted too far rewards it'll de-stabilise and lose grip. Hope this helps
I got mine last week. Ive found it's slower than my Salsa. Do differerly priced ones go at different speeds or is it something rhe eheelchair service can change? I love how narrow it is. It makes transferring much easier and safer. The adjusrable dootresrs are also great. But, what is with the sticky out bat at the back?
Hello! Thank you for getting in touch. Yes, there are a variety of different motor/speed options illustrated on the prescription form so it is quite likely that you could have smaller or slower motors on your new chair. Either that, or the speed settings can be adjusted and reprogrammed if safe to do so. Hope that helps
Thank you for getting in touch. Depending on how wide the chair is already, yes you can. There are bolts on the seat plate that allow you to make the adjustment. The only other consideration is what armrests you have, if they're flip up, you'll need to adjust the backrest width too. I would of course recommend that you ask your local provider to support you if required. Good luck
could you possibly go through Quickie vs. Permobil the F-M-R models performance wise. I'm going to get a new power wheelchair, it might be a Quickie 500, from what I can read, the Quickie has slightly better specifications than the Permobil. I am in doubt whether to choose an M or F model. I am an outdoor person, what is your experience and recommendation. Today I have a foldable power chair with the drive wheel in the back. And struggling to get stuck on soft and loose ground, and I have to drive backwards 😁 Thank you
Thank you for getting in touch! I'd be more than happy to do a video to compare the two manufacturers, it might be easier to isolate the Q500M/F and the M3 and F3 though if that's the direction you're heading. I'll try and get something put together soon
Ah that’s great, it’s only compulsory to have the lights and indicators if you opt for a certain motor power/speed. If not, then you have to specifically select them. Hope this helps
Just purchased a QUickie 300M, and am having significant trouble with getting stuck where middle wheels arte spinning when you are going over slightest lip (ie lip on car elevator pan to get into driver position, and over small metal strip on doorway portal (no step involved). Has anyone else had this problem?
Hi Raymond, thank you for getting in touch. This all depends on the setup, the Q300M Mini has the ability to be fitted with smaller motors and thinner tyres to suit narrow, indoor manoeuvres but also can be adapted for outdoor use with larger tyres from the Q700 range, bigger motors and batteries. Hope this helps
You talked about everything but what I wanted to know...that was how to tell if the charger is charging because one only shows a orange light that's lit up
Thank you for getting in touch Belvin. Depending on the charger, the light that you are referring to should change colour to green once fully charged. Please note though that this is purely an indicator and normally we recommend at least an 8 hour charge, regardless of how much it's been used and what's indicating on the charger. Hope this helps

Hi - I just got the Quickie Q300 mini last week. I'm still getting used to it, and I have a question. While in the chair is there a way to get my feet flat on the floor? It doesn't lower my feet all the way down. That makes it hard to wheel under some tables. Any suggestions?
Hi Gellexi, thank you for your comment and sorry we haven't replied sooner. The only way to truly reduce your knee to floor height is actually by lowering the overall seat height but that would be very much dependant on your knee to heel measurement. Hope that makes sense...! Best thing to do is either contact your engineer/supplier to find out if any adjustments can be made to the seat height. Or depending on where you are, we could arrange our engineer to have a look for you?
Be interesting to hear a review of the Q400m & Q500m. I currently have the Q700m Sedeo Pro and it is so expensive. Be interesting to know if there is a massive benefit to continuing paying extra. Like the Q700 range is the only ones with the spider trac suspension. What is the difference between spider trac and the 6 wheel suspension seen on the others? i know with Q700m range it really sucks to get the C Me feature you have to get the Ergo which is approximately £5 thousand more than my pro version! My main shock was reading the manual for my chair and seeing how they say it has a 5 year life span! Especially as many of us self fund as NHS will not provide such customised high spec powered wheelchairs. lol Another downside but also a perk has to be the weight. 205kgs sunrise medical told me my chair was.
Hi again Sarah! We will definitely get a video in place to explain the differences between the models and also between the Ergo and the Pro in the 700 range, keep an eye out and hopefully we'll get one sorted in the next couple of weeks. Thank you, CMS
@Gifty Asamoah thank you for your comment but unfortunately there isn't a Q500 Mini, only a Q300M Mini. The weight of which is very dependent on the setup of the chair. Hope this helps
Thank you for getting in touch, there is an option for the backrest to fold down but that's the only folding component on the Q300M Mini. Hope that helps
Thank you for getting in touch! Yes, there are multiple backrest options to choose from plus you have the ability to add bag hooks and push handles if needed.
Jarring video..Would have liked you to be more interactive with the wheelchair. I read elsewhere the back of this wheelchair can be folded back but not sure if it's true as I got bored listening. You just didn't seem very sure of the product.
Hi, thank you for your comment although the video as it suggests in the title, is a review video not a 'how to' video. The brochure and order form both inform you that it has a folding backrest just like the Salsa M2 Mini beforehand. Seeing that this is not a new feature there was absolutely no point in including it. Also we had only just received the chair therefore there was still a lot to learn. I'm sorry it wasn't enjoyable for you but unfortunately we can't please everyone.
Horrid chair! Small batteries mean you only go short distances before it drains. I was constantly charging the thing. 22 miles lmao. I literally got 4 maybe 5 before it was in the red.
You don't give enough details on the charging part of the wheelchair,Ihave the same chair and the battery won't charge, but I know a way to trick the charger of the wheelchair into charging again,my problem is finding the wires that are to the chair to trick into charging
Thank you for your comment, always good to hear end user experiences! If you do have any issues with the charging, i suggest you contact your local technician/engineer for further assistance. Good luck
Just ordered mine and found this video really helpful. Thank you 😊

Thank you for the video. Just received it. Do you have any suggestions of grocery carrying bags when I drive to a market and how to attach. Thank you.
Please advise if the Quickie Q300 M reclines back to be able to fit in an aircraft cargo door? Most aircraft cargo are only 35H

Maybe it's different over there, but in the US this can be gotten with the Sedeo Pro.
Thank you for getting in touch, no, not too different, the Q300M Mini just wasn't launched in the UK with Sedeo Pro seating/backrest, it is now 🙂
@@clinicalmobilitysolutions2131 Ahhh, makes sense.
