Just because someone is interviewed on Jack Hibbs' programs, doesn't mean Hibbs agrees with everything that person believes, especially if Metaxis hadn't made Hibbs aware of that. I have been following Jack Hibbs' verse by verse teaching and his current teaching and Hibbs will tell you that he believes in the pre-trib rapture. The pre-trib rapture is quite clear in the bible: 1Thess 4:13-18, 1 Cor 15:50-54 and that believers will not see the great tribulation: 1 Thess 1:9. God's blessings to you.

I took it as he was told not to pray for a certain thing he was praying for - like the election situation and all that it encompassed. I don’t believe the man would stop praying altogether.
I think we need to follow the Biblical imperritive to "pray without ceasing". There may be some event or coming event that is set in motion and God will orchestrate, but to "pray always" is repeated so often that we have to understand it's in God's plan that we must pray not just for our own needs but no prayer goes to waste and will help those who don't pray, don't know how to pray, don't know what to pray for.

The opening of the Seals begins the tribulation period - God's wrath. The First Seal reveals the antichrist riding the white horse. We are NOT in the tribulation yet. Please read Amir Tsarfati's Revealing Revelation book for accuracy.
Tribulation does not start until covenant of peace is broken in midst of week of years; Daniel tells us this in Daniel 9:27. Antichrist comes in peace and by peace destroys many, see Daniel 7:25 kjv and 8:25 .
@@Obediah002 The covenant of peace comes at the beginning of the Tribulation when the antichrist make a decree of peace with Israel (the opening of the first seal) so that the temple will be rebuilt. After 3-1/2 years, the antichrist will be the abomination of desolation who goes into the rebuilt temple to be worshiped. Check out Amir Tsarfati's teachings. They are spot on.
Define tribulation. There are degrees of tribulation for many in the world. Are you living in peace and comfort at present. Does tribulation only happen when you experience it….. are you dogmatic about timing and interpretation of events.
I agree, and the beginning of revelation says that the seals cannot be opened without the presence of the 7 churches, which will be the after the rapture of the church, which clearly has not happened yet.
Eric please hear others who have been listening much longer. Amir Tsarfati, Barry Stagner, or read Dr.John Walvoord. God's people are not appointed for judgments outlined in Revelation. Beginning in chapter 4. John is said to "come up here", and he is in heaven when all these judgments take place on earth. Christ's Church is not mentioned at all until returning with Christ.

I’m not interested in man’s ideas. Scripture is the only sure foundation for understanding end times. PLEASE get Rick Renner or Jack Hibbs on to hear a correct presentation of a pre tribulation rapture.
Scripture needs to interpret Scripture. Any teacher interviewed needs to consider the entire Bible. Not some rapture theory that the Evangelicals are always preaching.

Yeah I think the great apostasy will be made up of all the "pre-tribbers" rapture escapees who are not prepared for some hard times. This immenant doctrine stuff is not biblical. Thanks Eric for the interview. I once held to the pre-tribulation rapture theory. I realised that it was something that required a lot of 'additional interpretation' of the scriptures in order to prove it's point. After some of my own study and also reading Dr Michael Brown's book, "Why we don't believe in a pre-tribulation rapture" I came to the conclusion that the pre-tribulation rapture had been fabricated by men.....and not from God!

After holding a pre-trib rapture view for a number of years, I was challenged with a question, "How did I come to a pre-trib rapture" understanding by just reading the scriptures without any additional commentaries. Did God's Word clearly outline and show a pre-trib rapture? It was then that I engaged in more study myself, and my personal conclusion was that the view is most certainly not shown in scriptures. It requires much 'interpretation' and manipulation to see a pre-tib rapture. Of course, I have considered both sides but for me personally.....I believe in the second coming of Christ. I can only see one second coming of Christ in the Word, not two! God bless.

Also he said something to the effect that being used by Satan or that they were evil? Where did you get your facts? Brandon Holthaus addresses the facts and you should check it out. Antichrist is his title in Greek, but the actual one is not using Greek. He is using Latin and in Latin it starts with V. Vicar. In place of Christ. The crusades against heretics were the tribulation. Heretics obviously recognized him as an Antichrist.

Respectfully, the Roman Empire was the two iron legs of Nebuchadnezzar’s statue. As the Roman Empire had two capital’s Rome and Constantinople. It is also clear in scripture that the Roman Empire was the 6th Beast of the Sea, so who is the 7th Beast of the Sea… the one who conquered the Eastern Leg or Eastern Roman Capital… it was the Islamic Ottoman Empire… a la… The Beast who suffered a moral head wound in 1922 with the Fall of the Ottoman Empire. I don't agree with the 4 horsemen and seals. I do believe what he's saying about the stone judgment coming though because the Lord gave me a vision. I saw a hand tossing a stone in the air and catching it over and over as of the stone were about to be thrown. I've seen judgment coming. I'm not sure about this but I believe something is coming around or even on the day of the solar eclipse.

I don’t think it’s this video, but I just want to say that your take on the people who believe in a pre trib rapture is utterly wrong. I believe in pre trib rapture because I take the Bible literally. Not only that, to say we don’t care? You obviously don’t know ANYONE who believes in a pre trib rapture. I feel like I’m on a sinking ship and I’m CONSTANTLY trying to get people to the lifeboat. The problem is that people don’t believe the ship is even sinking to begin with. But that doesn’t mean that I’m not using my social media ever. single. day. sharing the gospel and telling people to get right with Christ before it’s too late. And when we do get raptured, I’ve planted plenty of seeds to hear ‘Well done, good and faithful servant’. The opening of the Seals begins the tribulation period - God's wrath. The First Seal reveals the antichrist riding the white horse. We are NOT in the tribulation yet. Please read Amir Tsarfati's Revealing Revelation book for accuracy.
Tribulation does not start until covenant of peace is broken in midst of week of years; Daniel tells us this in Daniel 9:27. Antichrist comes in peace and by peace destroys many, see Daniel 7:25 kjv and 8:25 .
@@Obediah002 The covenant of peace comes at the beginning of the Tribulation when the antichrist make a decree of peace with Israel (the opening of the first seal) so that the temple will be rebuilt. After 3-1/2 years, the antichrist will be the abomination of desolation who goes into the rebuilt temple to be worshiped. Check out Amir Tsarfati's teachings. They are spot on.
Define tribulation. There are degrees of tribulation for many in the world. Are you living in peace and comfort at present. Does tribulation only happen when you experience it….. are you dogmatic about timing and interpretation of events.
I agree, and the beginning of revelation says that the seals cannot be opened without the presence of the 7 churches, which will be the after the rapture of the church, which clearly has not happened yet.

Eric please hear others who have been listening much longer. Amir Tsarfati, Barry Stagner, or read Dr.John Walvoord. God's people are not appointed for judgments outlined in Revelation. Beginning in chapter 4. John is said to "come up here", and he is in heaven when all these judgments take place on earth. Christ's Church is not mentioned at all until returning with Christ.

The 1st century church would have had to be preached about Christ's immenent return too....so were they wrong because they are all gone?
Thanks Eric for the interview. I once held to the pre-tribulation rapture theory. I realised that it was something that required a lot of 'additional interpretation' of the scriptures in order to prove it's point. After some of my own study and also reading Dr Michael Brown's book, "Why we don't believe in a pre-tribulation rapture" I came to the conclusion that the pre-tribulation rapture had been fabricated by men.....and not from God!
I'm guessing you were convinced by those who reject the pre-trib doctrine, not by studying the evidence that supports it.

After holding a pre-trib rapture view for a number of years, I was challenged with a question, "How did I come to a pre-trib rapture" understanding by just reading the scriptures without any additional commentaries. Did God's Word clearly outline and show a pre-trib rapture? It was then that I engaged in more study myself, and my personal conclusion was that the view is most certainly not shown in scriptures. It requires much 'interpretation' and manipulation to see a pre-tib rapture. Of course, I have considered both sides but for me personally.....I believe in the second coming of Christ. I can only see one second coming of Christ in the Word, not two! God bless.

Nothing happens on the earth during the first 5 seals. Power is given to fallen angels to hurt the earth in the first 4 seals but not executed yet.

Antichrist is his title in Greek, but the actual one is not using Greek. He is using Latin and in Latin it starts with V. Vicar. In place of Christ. The crusades against heretics were the tribulation. Heretics obviously recognized him as an Antichrist.

Eric Metaxas and Benjamin Thomas are the IGNORANT brethren the Apostle Paul deals with throughout his epistles. They represent the church of Laodicea, where Jesus Christ is standing outside knocking on the door asking to come in (Rev. 3:20). They are those not looking for the ‘fetching of the bride’ and as a result, they will get their wish and suffer the consequences finding themselves in the Great Tribulation Rev 6-19.

It is also clear in scripture that the Roman Empire was the 6th Beast of the Sea, so who is the 7th Beast of the Sea… the one who conquered the Eastern Leg or Eastern Roman Capital… it was the Islamic Ottoman Empire… a la… The Beast who suffered a moral head wound in 1922 with the Fall of the Ottoman Empire. Ironically, there were 10 nations that rose from the territories of the fallen Ottoman Empire.

It's very evident from what you said that you don't even have a clue about it. Shame on you for your strawman and ad hominum attacks. (The fallacies being thrown around were atrocious! ) As someone (myself) who holds to the rapture doctrine, you said some pretty awful things about me that aren't true. You also discredited and dismissed the "theology" without any scriptural proof. I don't agree with the 4 horsemen and seals. I do believe what he's saying about the stone judgment coming though because the Lord gave me a vision.
I saw a hand tossing a stone in the air and catching it over and over as of the stone were about to be thrown. I've seen judgment coming.
I'm not sure about this but I believe something is coming around or even on the day of the solar eclipse.
