he is just concerned about fucking payment methods...there is no word about sleep tracking, no word about hrv...its always battery and payment. BORING!
I think most people don’t know what Garmin Pay is while Apple Pay is common knowledge. Odds are very good if a place accepts contactless payment GarminPay will work just fine
I have both. I like the Forerunner a lot better. It’s so light I forget that I’m wearing it. I’ve actually had moments where I think I’m not wearing it and look down, there it is. I also like the physical buttons better for snoozing the alarm and rewinding a podcast without having to look at the watch.
@@randywatson341 do you have an iphone? Becouse im basically in the apple ecosystem and i like to run 2~ times per week and go to the gym, do you reccomend forerunner still?
@@roberts9198 to add a second opinion, I also prefer a garmin watch because I do swimming and I do marathon running and like he said the button instead of physical touch is MUCH better and don’t forget the battery life.
There isn't really such a thing as Garmin Pay or Apple Pay or Google Pay. It's just contactless technology. It will work on either if a place takes contactless payment.
Garmin Pay and Apple pay are wallets . For supporting wallets banks have to pay certain percentage for using wallet. like lot of north american banks doesn’t want to pay these wallets hence they only chose apple pay because its more common due to apple phone but doesn’t support Garmin pay as they do not find any value in it. So for customers like us its common but banking system works differently. Thats why Garmin has mentioned on its site which banks support Garmin pay.
The equivalent to the AWU in the garmin line is the fenix 7, the fenix 7 has a 22 day battery life and solar panel charging, you can probably squeeze about 3 days out of the Apple Watch ultra if you use non of its features
You should do a Apple Watch 9 vs a Garmin like the venu 3 or 265 😎 I am Looking to see the new Apple Watch 10 and if it can be more of a fitness watch to challenge Garmin 🤞
You can reply to messages on Garmin from the watch, but if you have an iPhone it is Apple who have deliberately blocked you from being able to reply/answer, as they want you to buy an Apple Watch. If your phone is Android then you can absolutely reply and answer from the Garmin watch :-) so it's Apple blocking you, rather than Garmin not being able to do it.
indeed - it is Apple who deliberately block Garmin so that you want to buy an Apple Watch. Garmin has the functionality to do replies/making or answering calls on Android but Apple blocks them.
The first clip of "Do you guys take Garmin Pay"... Tells so much about the usefulness of this review
Garmin pay and apple pay work the same, like tapping your card. So if apple pay works then garmin pay would too

Spot on Mazal, This Shervin dude misrepresents the 265 in so many way, paid bias I wonder?
@@jamessmith4681 he gets more money, if he promotes the apple watch. What do you expect?
im pretty sure he was just making a joke of it. Im sure he knows the garmin still wouldve worked.
This is correct. If you can tap a debit card you can use garmin pay.

Garmin pay funciona muy bien como sistema de pago.
I came in to say the same thing.

I can respond to text on the 265. GPS is great and the health / Wellness analytics are a Apple watch killer
The smartwatch functions are a lot more robust with Garmin devices and Android devices. The functionality is limited with Apple devices.

Garmin for the win
It would be interesting to compare battery life of AWU and Garmin with same set up of notifications, always-on and others

I love this smartwatch
My dawg one of the most genuine people in this industry so glad we crossed paths keep winning king ❤️
If you're using an iphone of course the apple watch have full integration

Be smart , 1 day 30% down how it is going another 9 days ?
@@adibsiddiqui7389 because The watch is assuming you are not running for the 9 days I assume
I have a question does
the (watch size 42m 265S )
fit on ( 22mm yellow bands? )
No it has 18mm lugs
SHERVINNN!!! 💪🏾💪🏾🔥
great vid
They Apple watch is better at everything except fitness which it is still good at and I think it looks far better
Are u kidding me
Apple watch might look better than the green Forerunner shown in this video. But the all black FR looks great IMHO
The Garmin is a fitness watch with smart watch features. The apple is a smartwatch with fitness features.

Garmin is made in Taiwan while apple is made by china. That is your reason.
Too Apple biased
