- In this tutorial we learn a drop from the top bar to the hip hold. This his easier attainable than you think. This tutorial will break down the pathway from a hip hold on the top bar to a single leg hip hold on the bottom bar. You can ad a hip hold split - check out my previous tutorial - to continue the flow.
This drop looks extra nice on the spinning hoop/Lyra.

That is awesome
Thank you. I am glad you like it 😘
Is there a version of this from double point?
That is a good question. The problem is that you need to slide down and the strops are in the way if you beed to pass there
Is your hoop tape or untapped? Do you need elbow protector for that kind of drop 🤔
For the rolls and drops I prefer an untapped hoop. Then you don't need elbow protection. The main force is on the hip.
Looks scary 😳
It often looks more scary than it is. Ask someone to help you when you try it the first time.
What is this Drop called?
My span set isn’t long enough for me to grab high enough to flip myself under into position. So I’m looking for other ways to get into that position so I can try it. I’m having trouble finding it bc I don’t know the name of that Drop.
hmm, I actually don’t know the name either. You could try to keep the legs in pike at the start and then bend, once you are dropping to safe space 🤔
@@karinodermattcoach lol, my made-up name "inverted cannonball drop"
@@JH-zr8lo Love that- might use it from ow on😅
