Sith aim to bend the force and become the masters over the force. Not to mention his pride and rage which made him stand out from the other sith most of whom sat on the dark council those were probably his two most defining traits.
Darth Malgus was a fanatical frontline duelist and Sith Lord that lived 5000 years before the events of Anakin and Darth Vader. He was frozen into carbonite when he declared his own Sith Empire and later has been unfrozen and is still alive
I love when characters actually use the sith code in Games or film. When Darth Trya first said the code I got chills. Except for books or comics Maul is the only character to really use it in the mainstream series for a long time it feels like.
The code of the sith: Peace is a lie. There is only Passion. Through Passion I gain Strength. Through Strength I gain Power. Through Power I gain Victory. Through Victory my chains are Broken. The Force shall free me. The code is used to symbolize that the sith’s ultimate goal is complete power of the individual.
Maul uses it because he was literally born in it and raised in it it's all he knows he's completely emersed in it and never wavers it's why his eyes are always pulsing yellow
What Makes Malgus unique among the Sith of his era was that fact that he gets what the Dark Side is all about, so he chooses to surrender to it like the Jedi do to the Light, and it bothers him so much that nobody gets that.
„I have done what so many employees wanted to do but never really achieved - I quit my stupid job!“ „I will never again have another idiot boss rule over me, I will never let another Karen annoy me, I will never return to Walmart!“

Always good to see more of big daddy Malgus. I truly hope we can assist him somehow in the future rather than be forced to fight him (at least as Imperials).
Darth Malgus is my second favorite Sith and antagonist of the entire Star Wars franchise. He is just so amazingly well written and acted, and his lightsaber fights are some of the best in the franchise.
gave it some thought.....and I have a suspicion, Malgus went to Dantooine specifically to break his conditioning. or atleast change it from working against him, Dantooine's jedi academy was one such place that could reprogram, condition and rewrite or erase memory & minds. like you know who. Malgus doesn't want to rule, he wants to destroy the Sith as they are currently. in a sense his right or claim to do so would make him the Sith'ari. or im way off for thinking this is his motive lol.
the Sith'ari prophecy isn't a thing yet, but maybe Malgus is the one who wrote it down in history, because we all know he's going to loss what ever he's doing in the end
@@NefariousSpecter Yes it eventually does come about with Darth Bane but has been mentioned since Kotor 1 by Yuthura. perhaps Malgus believes it could be him and we'll have to relieve him of this notion by not so subtle means.

The only Sith that ever broke his chains is Darth Marr and he only managed to do it because he abandoned the Sith code. Darth Malgus hasn't broken his chains. He just thinks he did, yet no Darksider will ever achieve true freedom.
The final part of the sith code is something Sith don't understand, the have to let go of the chains of hate and anger at the peak of their power to break free , they have to let go . But they are incapable of doing that and bind themselves even more in hopes of gaining more power. Vitiate bound himself to life , Darth Marr the empire , Darth Vader his grief , Darth Nihlus his hunger . They always are unable to let go. The sith code is superior to the jedi code however they followers of the sith code are inferior to the jedi.
@@eltacothemagnificent1029 Well, the Sith code implies that the "chains are broken" by victory which is in turn achieved by power, strength and passion. So the Sith code implies that by following the way of emotion and pleasure (aka. the Dark Side of the Force), they gain freedom. But that's simply wrong. The only way in the Star Wars Universe to gain absolute freedom, eternal life and everlasting happiness is becoming one with the Force. Those who became one with the Force are also much more powerful than any Sith can imagine. Unfortunately for Darksiders, that's only possible for Lightsiders. So no, the Sith is entirely wrong and actually designed by George Lucas to be inferior to the Jedi code (which is objectively correct in Star Wars). Star Wars is basically Lucas sharing his life philosophy with his audience. He thinks that true happyness and freedom in life (~ becoming one with the Force) can be achieved through compassion and love, which in turn leads to joy, as opposed to self-centered pleasure, which leads to "doom". And I totally agree with him. He is a very smart man. ruclips.net/video/rePgwJWg7cw/видео.html And even though Star Wars is no longer owned by Lucas, the base theme still remains the same. The Sith are designed to be wrong. Darth Marr is the only Sith who saved himself from his own ruination.
Darth Maul. Darth Malgus. Darth Bane. Darth Vader. Darth Azard. Darth Wyyrlock III, Darth Zannah, Darth Marr. Darth Krayt . Assajj Ventress.( she may have only been an apprentice but she received at least some real sith training. So she’s number 10.)
I hope at the end of this expansion we can finally put Malgus out of his misery. As badass as he is, he's been around way too long and would spare us from another "Malgus bound to the Empire" arc again. Either that or join forces with him to take the Sith Empire down for good and replace it with his vision.
If only they didn’t do my boy revan dirty like they did, though he did have some epic moments in swtor, but it just seemed off with how they went about his end. Malgus Revan and the Triumvirate were by far the best things about the old republic and kotor.

his mastery of plot armor is strong indeed
The Sith treat the Force as their servant. The Jedi are the opposite.
