First you have to sync your gyro's on a flat surface before you take off. If its a 3 channel and 4 channel channel 4 gives you full control, channel 3 is training mode. Trim it out so it hovers, then you can control it. Any wind on such a small unit is going to blow it around like a hurricane. This is more of an indoor unit with no wind, but cool none the less. DARPA has one smaller then this with face recognition that has a small shape charge in the belly, heads for its intended and explodes at the explodes on the forehead upon impact and kills them instantly like a bullet. You just throw it in the air and it takes off finds the target and before you know it, it kills the target. Much smaller then this though. Micro drones are so much fun, but at the other end are deadly. for 32 bucks, its a good unit:)
Dude, that DARPA RUclips video was fiction, it was made solely in an attempt to show the public where Drone A.I. can go...I’m not saying it can’t go there, it surely can...but that RUclips Video was not intended to be a factual display of what is available to the military or police force today.

Fantastic little drone. I'm modifying a SQ9 camera (basically removing the case and battery and powering it from the charge port of the S9W. One problem, however, upon opening the App, I get the FPV screen, but the controls disappear. (They have stayed in place on occasion, so it is possible.... but what is the trick?)

How did you manage to record video while controlling it by gamepad? I can record video, but i must control drone by phone app, which is terrible. Controller cannot be connected then. Or disable app, disconnect phone and use controller, but then i cannot have video.

Why do they never do analog video transmission? It would be SO helpful for these tiny drones, the range is great and the lag is non-existent. You can buy dumber drones with analog video, but never ones with altitude control.
@@youchannel1902 its durable.. water proof.. my drone fall down onto the drain full of water.. but still working as normal until now.. battery only lasting about 7m without turn on cam, with turn on cam only last 5m..
All the selfie drones loose wifi connection aswell iv bought 3 now all do same need restart app and switch drone on off and wifi on off to connect back up or if wont start up! It does this everytime you crash or flip it its a waste of time these wifi drones
I Purchased two of these and, both had the same problems. The problems that I had with them are that the motors would stop turning and the plastic arms are so weak that they eventually will break off. Trust me this is not worth the money do not waste your time on this drone.
Good flying toys with no camera are a dime a dozen. The camera on this one is basically more trouble than useful. Not too many people want to watch video of the ground from a drone that is out of control when the app is hooked up.

it's an old quad.
it needs REMOVABLE BATTERIES to extend flying time so there isn't an hour+ wait between flights!
just cut hole in back, buy some small connectors and solder them on battery and than on board :)

To yaw, to put it is simple terms, is to rotate the drone to the left or right. In other words when you turn around to face someone, you are "yawing".
