I just recently recoated my roof with the Lanco Primer and Siliconizer. Before the recoat, I cleaned with TSP and have to say that I was very impressed with not only how fast it cleaned with very minimal agitation action from a soft bristle car wash brush, but also how fast & easy it rinsed. As I only have the Lanco on for a month, I will have to wait on evaluating the coatings, but they did spread very easy with a roller.
@@WhatsMyGear I saw it on a RUclips video a couple years ago, and it sat in my wash bucket for probably just as long. I didn't use it the last time I recoated my roof and regretted it as I had just used Dawn dishwashing liquid and then recoated the roof with the Lanco Ultra Siliconizer. In less that two years the coating was peeling up in sheets. This time I used the TSP and I was impressed as I could see everything just lifting off and rinsing away. I used the Lanco Aqua Proof Primer first and then recoated the next day with the Ultra Siliconizer. This is more of a Band-Aid for now as I have a lot of soft spots on my roof where the plywood is delaminated. But should keep the water out for now. It's only been on now for a month, so I won't really be able to say how it hold up under the Arizona sun for at least a year.
My father in law owned a dealership for many years, his tip to me to clean the roof was to use Ajax scouring powder and Dawn dish soap with water. Works like a charm with a typical scrub brush! Give it a try sometime!
Thanks for the tip. I did find this stuff. This cleaned it with almost no scrubbing effort. ruclips.net/video/NTynIFDVW8U/видео.htmlsi=CeUQ5v30ySlvTnrK
Check this out, I found an amazing cleaner for RV roofs. Let me know if you think it's better than 409 because I haven't tested 409 yet. ruclips.net/video/NTynIFDVW8U/видео.html
refreshing to see a review on a product that doesnt work. interested to see how murphys oil soap works on your roof. works well on mine but mine isnt as dirty as yours. keep us posted if you find a great cleaner.
I finally found a product that works after much research and testing. Check out how easily this cleaned my RV roof... ruclips.net/video/NTynIFDVW8U/видео.html
@@WhatsMyGear The other "cleaner" is bleach based. It doesn't clean any better, just kills and bleaches the stains, and damages the roof. Same problem as Spic and Span, also a bleach. Bleach is great stuff on non reactive surfaces, but roof membrane is not one of them.
Check out a cleaner that actually works on RV roofs... ruclips.net/video/NTynIFDVW8U/видео.html

That's great to hear when products work correctly. Just curious, what is TSP?

For mold/mildew use good ol 409! Do it in the shade, small sections and rinse very well. Do not let it dry on

30sec outdoor cleaner works wonders. Use it on our 2019 Keystone and dads bus.
I'll have to check that out. Thanks!
Ok, you convinced me to make this video, what do you think? ruclips.net/video/NTynIFDVW8U/видео.html
You don't have just dirt, that's mold and mildew, a different animal all together.
You are right. This other cleaner I found did the trick on mold and mildew ruclips.net/video/NTynIFDVW8U/видео.htmlsi=B3s0EPvioYOJZ2gn

I would use a pressure washer .
Im a little concerned about the pressure doing damage. If you try it let me know if it works. I'm always interested in new options.
@@WhatsMyGear Yes , electric ones have less pressure than gasoline ones . I'm thinking a electric one that auto detailers use for vehicles .
Thanks for posting this. Our trailer roof is way worst than yours so this product looks like it will not help us!
I just tried a new product that worked wonders. It made my roof bright white like new. I'll upload the video on it soon.
@@WhatsMyGear looking forward to it!

That’s mold mildew. Needs bleach

Thanks, ill pass.
Yeah this stuff didn't help me, I found another product that worked.
That stuff is crap, sad to see
Agreed. That's why I hope people see how it performed for me before buying. Don't waste the money like I did.
