Matt Horn broke through the algorithm to me and ive been binging his POV content. Now I've come across yours and have been binging it as well. I did drumline in highschool but thats it so no idea how RUclips started showing me drum content. I know a lot about the things that go on in that region. You guys wouldn't have been seen as against the crowd, you would be guarded. Their anger was towards the establishment and you guys were symbolizing freedom to them, and while you were thinking of safety, they took it as the establishment cutting down on their freedom of expression. You saw how eager the crowd was, and it only takes a little issue to make things problematic. I'm glad you guys made it out safe. i'm incredibly new to music, but this has been such an inspiration to me. I'll keep posting stuff, even if it's not full songs. thank you for the inspiration.

I have to say this video series is one of the best things in YT for a drummer, disregard the level. I got chills with that song pause! So fun!
I hope you can keep making it forever, so we can see you record yourselves in a bigger show with huge audience (and safer than this video's). And I'll watch it.

I’ve never heard of the band, not a fan of the genre. But I’m a drummer and I really appreciate your talent, your attitude, the POV and the editing. The fact that your regular kit is like a better version of mine is a bonus!

Yeah, that's why I Prevail didn't end their set early due to safety concerns with the crowd, it could result in a riot. Unfortunately, obviously, BMTH couldn't just keep playing until the stage collapsed, so I'm not sure what else they could've done here. This is why The Rolling Stones and Van Halen do the "have M & Ms with no brown ones backstage" demand in their rider. The rider includes what safety requirements they have for the stage, so the stage won't collapse with all the heavy lights and everything. If the M & Ms backstage have the brown ones in in it, it's an easy way to tell that someone wasn't paying attention to the details in the rider, therefore they might not have paid attention to the details in the safety requirements either. So they know if they can trust the stage or not, and cancel before the crowd is present over safety concerns.

Am i allowed to get mad at these people? Like yeah they paid like 700 something dollars to go to a live show, but dude ya'll are suffocating each other in a 90 degree room what else do you expect when the show gets cancelled because the entire hospital is being called down to a single venue?

Fr, those aren't real fans, they shouldn't act like this, they can both danger the life of the band and the other spectator, they really are dumb.

I am a 66 year played bass over 40 years and will say you see very few bands such as this band that has theh situational awareness wisdom and capacity to adjust the energy to aid in controlling and down-standing a crowd that's on the threshold of chaotic collapse!!! Had to be a crazy experience! Glad everyone safely escaped injury!!!

Man, that was intense. Getting those monitor sounds right before the show was stressful! I'm currently on tour and I'm at the whim of what the sound guy has available from his desk... can be touch and go in terms of what I get in my ears...Thanks for the POV!
