Thanks a lot for such a useful tips, those are really helpful. The honesty in expressing your thoughts about the wildlife consetvation and photography inspires me a lot. Thanks a lot and all the best wishes for the great work you are doing and keep inspiring all of us :D
That was a brilliant video Morten. I am very disappointed I didn't arrive a little earlier though, your experience with that stag was beautiful and the pictures you made of him were excellent. Appreciate the introduction and I'm looking forward to reliving more of the time in your next video.
I’ve wanted to become a vet for my entire life, but after recently developing severe allergies to any animal with fur, I’ve been at a loss for what to do with my life. I’ve considered marine biology and herpetology and multitude of other things, but nothing has really spoken to me. I’m a senior in high school, and have to make my decision soon. I have, however, always had a great interest in photography. I’ll often go outside no matter the weather to capture either pictures of wildlife or of landscapes, just because I love how close to nature it makes me feel. And I’ve realized that this is what I want to do. I want to travel and capture the beauty of nature and raise awareness through the pictures I take. I don’t know how I’m going to do it, I don’t know what education is required for it, but I have to try. Thank you for illustrating my passion, sir ❤️ You’ve earned a subscriber.
Fantastic, despite our dreary, cold and wet windy weather here, you still show the same love out there and didn't let the rain here in Scotland bother you. I came across First Man Photography through Facebook, he's a nice guy and talented for what he does. Another fantastic vlog :)
Hi, Morten ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Awesome and amazing cinematic photography, photographing and videoing majestic wild deer. Thanks for sharing, enjoy and have a Great week !!! Be Safe while you are traveling !!! Danny
Dear Morten! I think I've watched all of Yor videos and I'd like to say a big Thank You, beacause every day (after a hard workday )my best meditation and relaxation are your wonderful videos. I always wait for the next one. I wish you all the best, and I hope you give us a lot of awesome evening in the future as well. Best wishes from Hungary!
Morten your connection with the natural world is infectious. So much so I have started my own RUclips channel! The way you suck the viewer into your world and the enthusiasm you show for wildlife is inspirational. Keep it up
Your right Morten, wildlife is at our doorstep sometimes, we just need to open our eyes and look carefully. Great video as always, I wish you lots of fun in Scotland!
Morten you are a thru ambassador not only for every naturephotograper but to everybody how likes to enjoy nature up close. I myself take every chance i get to try to educate people in how to and how not to get close to wildlife. In general people tend to forget the importance of the retreat, but in fact it is just as, or maybe even more important part of showing the wildlife the respect it deserves.
Excellent video and pictures Morten we had the pleasure of visiting Glen Etive in February when the weather was so severe the waterfalls were frozen solid and we were even able to feed the deer carrots by hand, will definitely go back there, thanks for the video, G'.
3 words: inspiration, respect, honesty. I am getting to like the rain up here in Scotland now, after watching your video. Just brilliant. Time for a cup of coffee!
Scotland is in my opinion one of the most beautiful countries in the world if not the most beautiful one. Coming from someone that loves rain your vlogs under rain are the best ones. keep up the amazing work mate.
I love your rules. Rule #1 Don't scare him. Rule #2 Try to get another photo. Polite and practical. That first photo of the stag in the brown ferns, is just amazing.
Wow! Morten, you excitement is so infectious and I just love watching you work. Your fieldcraft is exemplary as is your respect the animals and environment. When you start a video like that don’t apologise for a bit of steam. Like yourself Adam is a very special man, I think he is easily the best channel for those looking to take their photography into landscapes. He communicates learning skills better than many bigger channels, though his isn’t small by any means. His own CV is getting pretty phenomenal with some of his images and his recent news. He also cares about people too and everyone who has met him say how nice and very sincere. I was having a pretty bad day until you posted this video, and watching you whilst nebulising myself has made me feel a lot better. Thank you.
Another fantastic video Morten. Your videos have inspired me to get out more and photograph more wildlife. Hoping to have a trip out to Scotland very soon to photograph the deer.
Fantastic video! looked cozy in the camper van, thinking about getting one for yourself? The pictures and colors were outstanding, the stag looked so robust.
I just noticed that every time I watch your videos I'm smiling the whole way through. Your videos are always so heartwarming and beautiful, rain or snow or sun. Thanks as always!
Why am I choosing wildlife photography over other? The answer is simple it’s not staged photography.. everything you take, you have to sacrifice a lot of time and need to be a patience which makes it difficult for most of the people. Unlike other photography where you direct them to be there or here, sit, stand and many more but wildlife you can’t do that since it flows with time. You take what’s ahead of you making difficult but gives you Immense happiness when you are done with work and go through your photos. I have been saying it before and I want to say it today that wildlife photography is what I want to shoot and you are one of the inspiration for me to take a step ahead.. thank you Mr.morten. Regards Yeshi from Bhutan
So happy to see you colaborate with all the photographers I admire and follow. They are all unique in their own aspect and great deal of stuff to learn from each of them. Cheers
Holy smokes. Came in this evening to find a new video from @Morton Hlimer and @First Man photography. Thanks to both of you for bringing the rest of us along on trip, we love it. Couldn't decide who's video to comment on, so I've posted the same comment on both videos. Morten, I know that you are one of the best photographers who not only make amazing photos, but most of all respect nature. Your vlog has taken the story telling to the next level. Your videography, most of all, is the best of showing emotions. Thank you very much, Morten. Best regards from Canada. P.S. I am also a fan of Adam Karnacz photography.
