A lot of wildlife photographers preach to not even take the picture if it isn’t perfect. I love that you take a picture even if you don’t think it is perfect. Most of us do and it is nice to see an established photographer getting excited and documenting the experience
Morten, me and my wife have been following you since the beginning of this channel. You are so inspiring and positive person. Always checking RUclips hunting for a new video. Always left for the best moment. Always preparing some snacks and something to drink before we click "start", and then we immerse so much into your story, that we forget that all of those things we prepared are still lying on the table untouched :) Thank you so much for great videos, and your amazing personality in the middle of that.
Great video as always Mr. Morten. Love the way you are whispering, and I strongly agree with taking extra cautions to not disturb wilds life with our modern equipments. Really wish one day, I could walk inside of a forest, taking photos and relaxing with a cup of coffee.
I love the way that you simply enjoy the outdoors......nothing special about the woods but you see the beauty. Some of your latest videos include trips with friends where you learn new skills from them which I appreciate. Never loose your enthusiasm!
My biggest pleasure all week, ( other than going shooting wildlife myself), is to watch your videos. I just gets me motivated for my next trip! Thank you as always!
2 saucages and a cup of coffee for diner. Great! Just like this video, once again very nice job and thanks for sharing these nature moments with us! Greetings from Belgium.
You are amazing. I've watched every single video of yours & now I'm in love with photography! I even bought a DSLR 800D recently after watching your videos ;)
Sorry to be so off topic but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Issac Milo I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Love your passion your an inspiration just enjoy everywhere you are. Like able guy . I think everybody wants to be there with you having a cuppa coffee. 🙏
Just being in the wilderness and having experiences like this where you're by yourself, exploring, and having a meal in the forest are the biggest attraction for me of wildlife photography. Getting back in touch with nature is so good for the spirit! Thanks Morten!
This video sums up my main reasons for doing photography - to get some nice photos and also to enjoy nature. Just out and about with no particular place to be. I can see that you are at home in your forest. Seeing you with a dinner fire at then end makes me want to go right now and start my own fire in the woods. I might need to copy you on that on my next journey. Nice work Morten!
all of your videos are relaxable. when i saw your new videos about wildlife or some videos like this iit gets me so happy. Thanks so much for these porjects mr Mortin
May I say, yes, your video skills are evolving and it shows, especially with your Finland love story, very heartfelt and beautiful. I always enjoy watching your channel, even when you crash your drone. 😉. Have a great weekend in Scotland. Hopefully the midges won’t pester you. Cheers! 👋🏼
Paul Sparkes Iberian Images I couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve been to the beach in the winter just to experience the peacefulness while witnessing the force of the ocean…blissful sigh. 🌎🌅🌌
Dear Morten, your passion for nature truly inspires me. Some day i'll too stand below the stars, near the fire enjoying the calmness of the woods. Thank you for your content and for being genuine.
Once again you're a big inspiration for me, i've almost watched all of your videos and this one is nice with a little bit of bushcraft and photography!
You are an amazing film maker. Thank you for publishing. The video of the mountain hares is my favorite by far. I never knew I had such a connection with rabbits. Just a little advice, if you don't mind- when flying your drone from your hand, hold it, don't let it just sit on your hand. More control and you can get your hand as far away from the blades as possible. When it gets to speed, then let go. Same thing on the return flight. Grab it and don't let go until it stops. It's a great drone. I have a Mavic Pro and a Phantom 4 pro+. I also have a Nikon D500 with 200-500mm for birds and wildlife. I operate the drones with an abundance of caution and respect for all around me, including both animals and human kind. Greetings from the Pacific Northwest in the USA. Peace.
Just love your videos Morten, and Scotland next week? if your traveling down the great glen? the coffee's always on and the doors always open you'd be more than welcome.
Hi Morten! i' ve watched all your videos in a week...and a i think i'm gonna rewatch every one long the time! Just thank you, really thank you for all. love from italy
Thank you for the nice video! I'm having a little burnout time in terms of wildlife photography right now but your video inspires me to go out again and remembers me that it's not all about taking great photographs all the time.
Even though your musk oxen and snow hare videos are still my favorite photography wise, I have to admit that I truly like this one, too. The last part with the fire was just so nice, glad to see you having a good time. also, always nice to see people treating their gear this way: its just a tool, an interesting one but in the end: just a tool.
What I do a lot of times when I can't find a flat place to take off from is I use the back panel of my camera backpack (just push the shoulder straps out of the way). If you're careful you can land on it too!
Excited to hear that you're coming back to Scotland! This is the perfect time of the year as the heather will just be flowering making an incredible purple landscape. Keen to know where in Scotland you are coming to. Thanks, Chris
I have got my Mavic 2 Pro drone two day's ago but i still have to unpack it. The camera is a lot better then the previous one. Great to see you are out there in nature again Morten, when you decide to start running workshops or photography trips.....i am sure to be the first one attending. Please consider doing so. Thanks for your video's, no need to learn better video skills as you said in the previous video...your filming and editing with moody sound and music is great.👏 And your personality is even greater. regards, Ben👍
Usually, when people do wildlife photography, they go on a hikes alone. It's great how You take a few thousands of us with You to share Your passion! Thank You!;)
Another great episode Morten. As for gear - Nikon z6 or 7 for video - had the z7 in my hands & tested the video tracking af & it seemed good - the evf was great & handling was lovely.... ‘hold that thought!’
You are the best!! Coffee and cameras, a great combination. Keep the Nikon! Did you shoot Bambi to make the sausage? Venison sausage is very popular here in SC.
Just what I needed- A classic Morten video. Peaceful, inspiring and a real tonic at the end of the day. Thanks Morten, it's good to see you back doing the things you love best. Hope we get to see your trip to Scotland. Hope you enjoy it, have a great time!
i was born and raised in village and spent my childhood running around forest.. now I am at work, watching your videos on 3rd monitor, and after watching them, all I want to do is to quit my job, move to the village and go out to the forest every day :)
Awesome vlog, great music and lovely views! For a next video, could u explain how u always find the wildlife, would be awesome to be able to get so close to deer!
Morten sir i am a big fan of you and also your photography ......awesome video ...the forest is very good...go ahead sir .we want more videos like it👌👌
Another great video Morten, where are you going to in Scotland ?, are you meeting up with any other photographers/ bloggers ?. Look forward to seeing your Scotland trip on video, enjoy 👍
Fantastic footage, the Mavic drones are a wonderful piece of kit and something I hope to afford one day. I tend to keep solely to my Canon gear only because I have so many lenses for Canon other than a Tokina 11-20mm and Sigma 150-600mm. The downside for me is my 5D Mark iii doesn't shoot 4K so shoot video separately. Being from Scotland and having saw your previous footage here in Bonnie Scotland, really looking forward to what you capture here! :) keep up the great work!
Another great video Morten, being outdoors and amongst all that nature is a wonderful thing. Your videos are better than what's on the TV......Please don't crash the drone.😂.
Thank you so much for leaving such a great comment. I'll definitely do my best not to crash it. Looking so much forward to flying it in Scotland next week
Wow Morten, I was sitting on the edge of my set when you had that drone in the palm of your hand while the rotors were running I thought the next clip was going to be of you covered in Elastoplast. I've heard of including tension in a movie, but that was way too risky ;-)
Hi Morten, I think you suit the forest and nature far more than Crete and Street. The forest and the fields look far more relaxing to me. And the wildlife is better company than holidaymakers. I do worry about drones though.🤔
hi Chris thank you so much for your kind reply. Yes I definitely like the forest and nature much better than anything else. Yeah the Drones are kind of challenging things. They produce beautiful footage but at the same time I think we should be very much aware of the impact they could have on nature. We definitely have a great responsibility they're. All the best Morten
After watching a number of your amazing videos and seeing your great images, I would love to here and see your thought on the New 500mm pf lens from Nikon at f5.6 could you use it? and if you get a chance to use it on the Z7 body. I known its off topic but you do but your kit thought it paces. Thanks again for the supper work you do.
Thanks John. The lens looks very nice but at the moment I am putting together equipment for my upcoming Arctic expedition this winter and for that purpose I am focusing on flexibility. Maybe I'll work with it in the future 👍
Have a great trip to the Arctic, I hope you manage to capture some amazing image and may by share some with us as well love the way do work. Good luck and I hope the coffee stay hot?

Thanks Jesse👍 established or not - we probably have the same fascination of nature and the same challenges with capturing the mood 😉

I’m like you I prefer the forest to a holiday at the beach with lots of people!! I love watching your videos you have so much passion for your craft👏👏
Paul Sparkes Iberian Images I couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve been to the beach in the winter just to experience the peacefulness while witnessing the force of the ocean…blissful sigh. 🌎🌅🌌
I just love how respectful you are with nature and your surroundings. Most people would have tried to fly the drone over to the deer, I'm sure.
You're coming back to scotland!!! We're glad to have you back
