We spent two nights there in July. The showers were out of order and they had brought in some portable ones. Luckily we have a nice shower in our Leisure Travel Van. Very expensive. Site was level. Laundry is located in the clubhouse. It’s quite a walk if you are located on the outer edges of the park.
Since this video, we actually bought two chalets there and were also there in July. We saw 6-7 LTVs, which site were you in? The water situation finally was resolved, thankfully 😃
Brandon - good meeting you at Breck. Enjoyed the video and thanks for your help and advice with our invertor problem. Hope to see you again on the road.
Hi Brandon! Are you still enjoying the airstream? We have a been on the list for a 2023 Ford F 350 Platinum now its a 2024 build. Would love to hear why you chose the 350 over the 250 and if you are happy with your tow set up and the towing experience.
We do love the Airstream. I went 350 over 250 as it's only about $1k more, but payload is vastly increased. So if we ever want to tow a light fifth wheel or something, we could. We use the Andersen WD hitch, which is fantastic and added Air Lift air bags on the truck. Tows as good as you could hope.
I stayed in both Tiger Run and Sun Outdoor Rocky Mountains several times. For similar prices, Sun Outdoor is way much better in terms of location, views, facilities like swimming pool, bars and restaurants, gym, and last but not least, spacious campgrounds.
Is the one in Granby that you like better? If so, much newer and very nice but like Breckenridge, Tiger Run is one of my lonnnnng time favorite spots! Thanks for the review… now I must go. Might be there in a week or so.
@@Pagosa was there for one night a couple weeks ago in the pull through sites. Drove me crazy. I used to own a pull through site about 15 years ago or so. There was very little road noise due to the existing road being 2 lane and traffic much less. I could not believe the sale prices for even a measly pull through site today. I wish I had kept it. The nightly cost during the shoulder season was somewhat reasonable. Tiger Run is a very nice resort but not even close to being the best RV park in the USA. But that is subjective. Also, 55+ RV parks can be much nicer resorts. Monte Vista RV resort in Mesa blows Tiger Run away. It’s not even close. It’s 55+, although grand kids and family can stay for a bit and enjoy the amenities. Look into Monte Vista and you will be surprised. One last note, Tiger Run is at a very high altitude. Altitude sickness for the average Joe is a real thing in Breckenridge. And hiking can be a real struggle so activities are limited for the average not in shape (putting it nicely) American. Add post-middle aged to that and things go south quickly. Breck is a fun tourist town, though. I know that area very well.

@@Pagosa we were in 341
@@Pagosa we arrived July 6 and left on the 8th. We were there visiting friends that have a condo in town. Fatty’s Pizza is a favorite!
I stayed for the month of February a couple of years ago in my Airstream. Expensive, but cheaper than renting a condo for a month.
It’s fantastic. We actually bought a chalet there we love it so much
We’ve been thinking about coming there. Glad for the video. Glad to see you with your airstream up there.
Yes! Worth the trip

Yes! Glad it was a simple issue. Hope to run into you all again sometime!
We would like to travel from Colorado Springs to Durango and wanted to know if rt 160 is passable via motorhome? Need a 10'8" clearance

Thats 😂 if you think that
Are you making fun of my RUclips title? 😂
$130 a night , no thank you.
Way too much road noise there. Ruins it.
On the West side for sure. We didn't have any in the spot we were at fortunately.
