Amy Adams should of been nominated Best Actress for 'Arrival' - One of my favorite sci-fi films that came out recently. 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' deserves to be nominated for Best Production Design and Best Cinematography. I actually hope for 'Captain America: Civil War' to receive a Best Adapted Screenplay. Emma Stone is phenomal, but Meryl Streep should win the Oscar for Best Actress. By the way Andrew Garfield did got a Best Actor nomination and Arrival is not a snub, it has 8 nominations, even Best Director and Best Picture but yes Amy Adams deserved a nomination.

Actually, Mahershala Ali - Best supporting actor La La Land - Cinematography The Jungle Book - visual effects Denzel Washington or Casey Affleck - Best actor Manchester by the Sea - original screenplay Emma Stone or Isabelle Huppert - Best Actress
I really think the Oscars should have a category specifically for young performers. That kid who plays the younger version of Dev Patel's character in Lion really blew me away; and there's also the ones last year, from Room and Beasts of no Nation. It's not fair to put kids to compete against fully grown adults, and in the few times that they're nominated they're usually overlooked, coz I guess the voters' mentality is "yeah, he/she was great, but he/she will have plenty more chances to win."
It really upsets me how the Academy seems to ignore anime films every single year. I mean FROZEN was chosen Best Feature in 2013 over The Wind Rises! Though just being nominated was a lot for an anime film and that's my point, the always get snubbed, and this year was no exception because 'Kimi No Na Wa' or 'Your Name' should've undoubtly been nominated.
They've been awfully nice to Disney lately. I wouldn't be surprised if How Far I'll Go from Moana won for Best Original Song, but I'd still be angry. I think City Of Stars should win.
I can't say I disagree with Suicide Squad for makeup and hairstyling. I'm not really into the movie like everyone at my school, but I think they did a good job on the makeup. And City Of Stars better win for Best Original Song. The Academy's been a little too nice to Disney lately.

Deadpool likely made it onto many ballots as a third or fourth nomination, but few people in the academy may have considered it to be the best film, leading to one of this years biggest snubs.
Amy Adams, I'm so happy to see you have a very big list of supporters. I'm absolutely in awe. You deserved it this year and I'll always say that you're the only actress today who can reach Meryl's nomination record. ♡

The past couple of years she's been playing some darker, more emotionally complex characters, ( American hustle, last year's Arrival n Nocturnal Animals) which I'm happy to see her do, but as far as versatility, IMO she still pales in comparison to actresses like Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Hillary Swank, Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, to name a few.
Well, I like all the actresses that you've mentioned here but I still have a soft spot for Amy. Would always be biased. Haha. The lack of Amy Adams in the Leading Actress category is disgusting.
