CVA makes their Cascade in a 16.5” barrel, available in 300 Blackout. Would be nice to have the short handy bolt-action for quick follow up shots if necessary.

I really enjoy when you do Videos like this. You take out almost all "Human Error" out of the equation. So you keep it strictly about the Performance of the Firearm and the Ammunition! This is very Informative and Entertaining. It also really helps to show and teach people good ways to choose the best ammo for the type of firearm they are using! You are technically giving out a free Cheat Code for the people who have the Same Firearms that you are testing in your Videos lol Great video keep up the great work! Looking forward to the next WTW upload.

As a Reloader, currently working on loads for my 357 magnum rifle.
Traditions G2, single shot break action, 22 inch barrel, 3x9x40 scope.
With the right loadings ballisticly similar to the 30-30 Winchester, but pushing a 158 grain bullet.
The 125gn bullets are simply screamers carrying a solid smack at 125 yards.

Very impressed with the 110 gr results, might have to try that. My build is a 300 Blackout AR with a 18" Wilson Combat match grade barrel. Commercial 300 Blkout is very expensive, but reload my own ammunition for about 50 cents/rd. using 125 gr Speer HP with 18.9 grains of H 110 powder and consistently get a muzzle velocity in excess of 2200 fps and < 1" group at 100 yards and like to group at 1.5" high at 100 yards so actually zero at 150 yards or so. Just can't beat an AR for quick follow up and reliability.

Probably tired of hearing this. My CVA Scout 300 Blackout is one of my favorite rifles. I have killed a number of deer with that Barnes load. I put a Vortex red dot on the front of the rail and use it as a short range stalking rifle. With the sight at the front of the rail, there is plenty of room to carry the rifle one handed right at the balance point.
