We need a clay block test with all them to see how they open up hitting a flesh like target
Slow motion gel block tests, actually show that expansion. And you can see some tests on the Fort Scott, web site.
@@chrissewell1608 who’s gonna pay for such a video in Biden’s new economy?…think about it…not trying to be a dick but it is what it is my friend.
Nope.. I can attest... Get anything from a goat to a red deer upto and within 100 yards and it's dead....
@@chrissewell1608 yeah I know that but we all know wtw shooting some clay is just fun and when they pancake out we all get a giggle
@@Allen338LM Yeah. I love those clay blocks, exploding too!
Thanks for your time, tools, and expensive ammo tests! Its always Fun to watch!
I like your evaluations. Nobody else shows the results in real shooting.
Thanks Russell. Appreciate you watching
Appreciate your time and trouble to answer questions like this. And born in '42 subsonic and silencers weren't, so this is kinda exotic.
Going for groups, we're not gonna be hitting bullseyes.
Then hits several bullseyes!
Love it.
I’d like to see the Fort Scott and the Boar bullets shot thru ballistic gel. That would be neat to see. Great video!!
What I’m getting from this is Hornady knows how to make a consistent loading. Awesome test, thank you!
Thanks for watching Matt
They cost 76 dollars for 40 rounds they should be bad ass for that price. 😂
@@HKGunPlay that’s .300AAC for you 🥲
excellent video thanks. appreciate the lack of goofy sponsors. these budget rifles are amazing to me as a 55 yr old who could never have afforded rifles with this precision back in the day.
Appreciate you watching Mike
Got a new Axis. Your video is right on time , thanks
That’s a great comparison test. It’s a shame that ammo prices are still expensive. Nicely done.
You will absolutely love your rig for fun times. I have a Kimber Adirondack in .300 BLK that I suppress and it’s insanely quiet with subsonic ammo.
Wow. That was the best compilation of of 300 blk ammunition I've seen in a while.👍 I reload and have ejector issues with savage axis 30-06, every shot casing gets stuck in chamber, and I'm loading light charge too. Oh well. I give up on that cal. Until I figure that one out, lol.
These are some of my favorite videos!! Half the time I go back to the Norma ammo days and just watch you sling em!!! Hope this video gets some serious views. That ammo ain’t cheap!
Wonder why he hasn’t used Norma recently? It’s been a while
Because I was working with Norma and they decided to discontinue the relationship after I spent a ton of money buying their ammo 😝
@@WHOTEEWHO appreciate the honesty
@@nickraffone1598 👍👍 just being real
Good display of ammo.great video
Would like to know which ones you thought were the quietest.
Great video!
Great tests! Appreciate the real world information and results.
Thanks WTW. I've got a Savage .308. It's accurate but I had to change out the ejector and spring when it was new. It wouldn't eject either.
One reason to just go ahead and get something like a BCA or PSA AR-10 with a 20-22 inch barrel...We're not talking but a couple Benjis more.
Getting a 300blk AR Pistol for home defense and that Calloway 195 gr might be my choice. Although it is different form batch to batch and rifle to rifle and person to person but that grouping is gorgeous!
Those Callaway were definitely impressive, I shoot the Hornady 190 sub-x and got nearly identical groups, thanks for 300 BLK content
Thanks for watching!!!
Have you shot any deer with those sub-x? I'm very interested in seeing if there's a capable subsonic hunting load
After you do a clay block test on your 300 blkout hunting ammo, do a bullet drop test as well. 50 yards, 100 yards and 150 yards. Keep up the great videos. Thank you!!
Haven’t finished the video yet but I really wish you had a decibel meter set up for this. I’d think the heavier projectiles would be the quietest.
Love my Callaway Ballistics ammo. I’ve been with them for over a year and thousands of rounds from multiple calibers have been ran, not a single issue.
Great test and appreciate the info!
👍👍
Just what I’ve been waiting for
Niiiice! You know I’ve been waiting for this one a while! Great setup with your shoosher. If you wanna have a cool video go get 1 gallon of eco friendly paint. Mix a bunch of colors and ask it to NOT be mixed. Hit ‘em with some Ballistic tip 300 BLK supers.
Love it! Just got a Ruger American for subsonic work, and once my suppressor gets out of jail it'll be even more fun!
Awesome
That’s some fine groups coming out of the new bing bang, those three in one are very impressive. That scope maybe a good pc of glass as well. Thanks for sharing another great video and new tools. 💪🏽🎥💯👍🙏🏻
Berry's Bullets has come out with their new 300 BLK 220 gr copper plated bullets that look to revolutionize the 300 BLK market for reloaders. I wanted some to reload for my CVA 300BLK pistol I bought thanks to Who Tee Who! I cant wait to see some testing of them and just stopped by while looking for tests. Great Video, Who Tee Whoo!
Nice rig, seems to shoot well without much tinkering. Thanks for the info.
Brand new gun with mediocre scope, killed it, love the savage axis.
Those boar axe should work on anything at that range. That long bearing surface helps with accuracy. I have always gotten the best groups from my 30-06s using 180 round nose, but came across some 125s I want to see if they'll group good enough for the coyotes. If not, they'll have to take the big rounders.
Thanks for lowdown!
Which rounds seemed the quietest?
Would be interesting to assess elocities and terminal ballistics.
Damn, Lee! Good load’n.
Impressive for a Savage Axis. They don’t have the best trigger to work with. Love these videos brother! Who Tee Who!!!!!
One of my top 5 guntube channels for sure!
🙏🙏🙏 appreciate you watching
I kind of like that both hornady cartridges did quite well.
Nice groups on most of them! That's awesome!
Very good shooting! Excellent ammo from your buddy Lee, Callaway, and Hornady!

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
I know i'd be hunting with the handloads from Lee. Dead nuts on a "cold" bore. Awesome test!
Excellent video man! You are very precise, it's not Just the ammo, it's also the shooter 👌 greetings from Panamá City, Central América, saludos
Thanks for watching
That's a nice *Bing Bang*
Hornady Black A-Max and V-Max are my go to rounds!
My banish 30 gold just came in the mail a couple days ago, I'm waiting until the weekend to change out my muzzle brake and break it in
Awesome
Great test! I've found camera batteries don't like cool weather.
Very interesting, I don't have a 16" upper built yet but use it in a house pistol so subsonic is my go to load. Thanks!
I just cannot justify a barrel that long for 300 blackout.
That said, I loved your video. Great delivery, and informative.
16 inches? Anything else requires a tax stamp.
@@WHOTEEWHOI’m guessing he meant an AR pistol type bing bang
@jeffroberts760 same applies really. I have given up on all that stuff. I don't wanna fiddle with flip flopping on laws and silly regulations and constantly having to worry about the law
@@WHOTEEWHO don’t blame you buddy
Great informative video. Thank you
Thanks for watching
Love that gun. Great video. That was impressive.
Thanks for watching Night cat
Adam that Good looking rifle is slinging them in there Can't wait to see your Deer Hunting with it. Best of luck hunting.
My RA Ranch loves the hornaday black 150 grainers.
Another awesome video! Regarding the extraction issue, that is a common problem with the Savage bolts. I have had a few do that. They use springs that are barely adequate for ejection and the pivot bearing for the extraction claw is mediocre at best. Good news is there are after market kits that can be purchased to fix the issue and usually I have only spent like 20 beans or less on them. I do the work myself but I imagine your friends at Heavy Metal could do it, if you didn't want to.
Love the content! Keep it coming!
Appreciate you watching
Thanks near shot a 300 black out so brother I just learned something. Thanks
I've been hunting with the Hornady 190gr SubX loads for a number of years and have taken a few deers with that round. Farthest deer taken was around 85 yards on a doe. I run those Magtech and S&B loads when plinking. Awesome test on a button of .300 Blackout loads.
I’ve taken two bucks with it, that’s my favorite factory load
Omg dude that rifle is sweet it real likes that boar axe your right that rifle is super quite with that can on it awesome dude
Outstanding evaluation. Keep the good work brother!
I’m that guy… the one drooling over the brass. 😂😂 The Lapua I ordered were .75 cent a piece.
Excellent shooting! And very quiet quiet 🤫 for them deers.
🤫🤫🤫
@@WHOTEEWHO lol yuup!
those super accurate calaways and buddy Lees sounded supersonic to me especially compared to the rest
In my experience with Sig ammo, 110’s and 220 grs, the drop between the 2 is < 15”..in other words, A LOT. Great vid WHO-TEE. Edited to add: THAT barrel loves the 190’/195’s, even those 208’s! Nice shooting..
It'll be cool to see the top 3 battle it out another round. I definitely want a can on my 300blk.
What’s up!!! Now that you have a 300blk I would love to see you test the Primary Arms 300/7.62x39 calibrated redical scope!!! I think if you did a little series of calibrated by caliber scopes would be awesome!!!!
*Who Tee Who*
Would really love to see a gel test with the subs at 50 yards , would make for an interesting video
Looks like you have your self a good shooting little gun. Thanks for the video.
I have little bit of the S&B 200gr stuff. I haven't run it yet, waiting to get susher. Impressed by the Boar Axe
300 blackout is a pretty mean boolot brother and thank you for the awesome gun videos and I start my ar9 build pretty soon I enrolled in Sonoran desert institute I'm stoked
THANKS for the AMAZING Video!!!! I didn't really want to get into 300blk until I got my Suppressor out of NFA Jail. I built one, and it's AWESOME!!!! I'll have to check out that Caldwell and Hornady ammo!!!!😃
Well done, sir. Keep up the good work.
Nice. Love that boar axe. I load the 175gr. Sub-X in my .308 for subsonics and it sounds like a pellet rifle. ;) I can load high velocities out to 300 easily and subs out to 120.
Awesome
Scott McNeal, "if you don't mind me asking" about loading the 175Gr Sub-X's for subsonic .308.
Would you mind sharing the load data for that? I have some of them and have wanted to try them in my .308.
If you can, thanks in advance.
If not, thank you still..
@@anthonyjackson8518 Anthony, I'll give you a safe starting point, but you must know that type of rifling, length of barrel and type of firearm will all play a part in this type of load. For my 16.25" cut rifling bolt action, 6.4 gr. of Bullseye gives me 1100 fps. If your barrel is longer, etc. you might need a bit more to get it out of the barrel. Make sure you check after each shot if you cannot see a hit downrange to be sure you haven't stuck one in the barrel. In my development, trying to get down to this level, with some of the powders like Unique (dirty) it would stick them after 2 or 3. It's really fun though to be able to use the .308 subsonic, so I keep trying different powders. Bullseye is much cleaner and this should give you a starting spot.
@Scott McNeal
First off. Thank You Sir.
I will be using a 16" barrel 1-10 twist bolt gun. (Sig Cross)
I think I have some Bulleye, I will check.. I definitely have some unique.
What seating depth do you use, and did you go off of the lands to get it?
@@anthonyjackson8518 I just crimped to the cannelure
My dad bought that rifle just had the black stock. He had to call savage and get a new extraction spring or an extractor something like that I put it in for him and haven't had a problem with it since. Good luck and tight groups WTW
Great Ammo test! Who Tee Who I dig the Savage Axis 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Appreciate ya doin this expensive test for us. 👏🏼
Appreciate you watching
I have a few 200-220gr fmj and ot target stuff, but only a few hp that are supposed to open up at subsonic speed. Have Hornady 190 and 208gr, Black Butterfly Maker 200gr Buzz Saws, and Underwood 194gr Maximum Expansion. Haven't got to test them out on any critters yet.
you will be super impressed with the black butterfly and Makers . the 168gr .308 from black butterfly /makers is the best deer hunting round i have used in 40 years . i also have the Makers Trex bulits i load myself in 45-70, .44mag and .300bo both sub and super varieties . the Makers 500gr sub sonic 45-70 expands to 1.75" at 1020 fps in the milk jug testing i did and displaced the water with enough force to snap a 1/2" piece of plywood in half .
Wow, nice shooting!
Thanks for the video brother enjoyed it much.see you on the next one 🙏❤️👍.
Awesome video!!! Very informative. I have a bunch of the S&B, and Hornady 208gr. The video reinforces why the S&B is my play around ammo. I definitely have been wanting to get some Boar Axe, this will definitely move them up on the to do list.
👍😊🎯 you’ve got some winners there.
Try some Discreet Ballistics ammo. It is good stuff as far as 300blk goes.
You should try discreet ballistics 188gr
Great video as always.... but I need this same video on damage shots. Only using subsonic... need throw in a few the customs too
Would love to get some of Lee’s ammo. Wow!
Some good shooting thanks for the video 👍 I love that 300 blackout pretty darn cool 😎
Thanks for watching
Impressive! Guess I'll be blowing a bunch of $ here soon to see what my AR likes. So far, only been using V-Max with it.
Nice review!
Very Nice groups ! Trying to decide what new slinger I want...300blk or 7.62x39 , leaning towards 7.62x39 Lil more budget boolats💥💥💥
I have an AR and Bolt gun in x39 and it's AWESOME with a can. It's my main deer rig for under 125 yards and it works great with Tula 124gr soft points. It's crazy how quiet it is even shooting supersonic rounds. Don't buy any Hollow Point steel case ammo for hunting since that stuff acts like an FMJ.
There's not a lot of sub sonic rounds made for the x39 and I'm not aware of any expanding projectiles for hunting. If you want to hunt with subsonic rounds I'd recommend getting a 300 Blackout.
You can't go wrong with either.
Thanks, keep up the good work!
Awesome accuracy brother!🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thanks for watching Michael
I'm surprised you don't Chrono all these. More Data is always good to have
Forgot the chrono
Need to try some of that Boar Axe. Great video
Accuracy test are interesting, but results vary from gun to gun. What would really like to know (since you mentioned you don't just poke holes) is which subsonic will take down deer.
Dang! Got to go look for some of those Callaway 195s! 😅
That was awesome 👌 Love these tests. Great groups too.
Thanks for watching!
Very good video
Enjoyed the video as always this was a good one
Thanks Merlin
Sweet groups
WOW! Callaway 190 gr. let you put 3 in the same hole, amazing.
I wonder if some of them are meant to be subsonic out of a pistol, but have enough pressure behind them in the longer rifle barrel to go super? Really impressed with accuracy overall out of this new rifle! I bought that Bushnell Banner 2 to replace the scope that came on a Mossberg Patriot package and it was night & day better.
great video brother
Thanks for watching
If you could put them into Ballistics gel it would be interesting
nice test format
Awesome test!
