I’m sure there were a ton of rehearsals before the performance. Bey was very close with the Bryants so part of me wonders how many times she might have cried rehearsing this before pulling it together to do this and remain professional. We really have no idea what goes on behind the scenes while close friends and loved ones are grieving. I imagine being in the public eye might make this all the more nerve wracking to hold such a public memorial. I liked his comment about how strong Vanessa was in the crowd too. It probably takes such a toll with the grief is still so fresh.😢
