The Samrong market is about 5-8 minutes walk away from the Samrong BTS station.
This fresh market will have all the ingredients, fresh meat, fruits and vegetables you will ever need. The place is clean and it is one of the markets that have a nicely laid flat pavement, I have been to many markets in Bangkok where the floor was bumpy, wet and slippery.
Another big plus for this market is almost every item will have a clear price listed on them, this is very important for us foreigners that speaks little Thai and it helps avoid overpaying for us.
Aside from the Main roofed area of the market, be sure to check out the surrounding areas too where you will find other hidden markets.
The Imperial mall nearby is also worth checking out, there are restaurants and a food court in the mall, there are some budget shops in there like MR DIY.

I stayed in Samut Prakan and visited this market frequently. Fresh produce was incredible and very cheap. Im moving back for a year in a few months and cant wait to get back here for some food.

I live a few BTS station away, in On nut, and its an amazing market to get my groceries! Cheap asl well.
