- If you're looking for a true traditional authentic Thai market, Wang Lang should be high on your list. And it's a very small square-like area so no worries about getting lost.
This market is a true Thai street food which is very well known to the locals but not so popular among tourists like Chinatown, Khao San road or JJ market. So it's far less touristy.
The name WANG LANG means Rear Palace. Because of its close proximity to the rear palace, that belonged to the nephew of King Rama 1 which is no longer standing, but the market lasts until today.
We have tried so many food and desserts and wish that we could try more. I hope you guys enjoy this one.

Oh my god I was there on oct 2022, the reason im going to wang lang market is because the Wang lang Bakery 😂😂 who I saw on instagram look so delicious. And so happy when i get there. I also try the vietnamese noodlez. But not try the boat noodlez. The coconut pancake, i can eat everyday. Usually i buy in silom area. I always love going to bangkok. Everything so comfort for me 😊

My daughter and me enjoy travelling to Bangkok but we only been to street food..Jodd night market and mostly shopping centres. Never been to places that you recommended. Anyway we will visit Bangkok again and will try the food places you mentioned... thank you so much ❤

I wish my stomach was bigger to try all these delicious looking food, but once in Thailand I realize it's damn hot and I can't eat everything I'd love to.

I notice that a lot of people were wearing facemasks in this video. Was there a COVID issue at the time it was filmed? In the UK before COVID we didn't have a culture of facemask wearing, but now it is more common to see people wearing them.

some English and mainly Thai. Some Chinese as well but it depends on where you are in Bangkok😉. But you will survive using English, they will understand.
