just like many concept cars this is light years away from being possible. no batteries, no touchscreen that can handle this, no "bending" sensors. this,at best, a pipe dream
Flexibility, transparency, and zero non-display area is lovely. That profile is not - it looks like a garish menstrual pad. Or maybe a miniature surf board.
The technology is out of this world. the shape however is a bit odd but futuristic, where not ready for a phone in that shape, but we are ready for the technology. I would buy it just to play around with the technology. Go Nokia
@341464 The japanese already invented somethink similar, so you can actually feel the keys when you dial a number on the phone's touchscreen, and when you type a message you feel like you would type it on an actual keyboard.
Awesome concept would love to see it happen but highly doubt it but just in case definitely need the shape to be changed up a little bit didn't really think dildo right away but the shape does seem a bit impractical
Nokia, the company who invested more in research and still no real amazing products. I hope that all that millions spent in research will be used with a revolutionary product. Hope we do not have to wait 15 years...
@Motorbikesss "is not difficult for them to make it".... dude, most of the technology doesnt even exist yet, and if it does the phone would cost like $10,000 + . I do agree with u that we wont see something like this for at least 10 years
Over decades, phones have evolved into what they are now. The shape, the thickness, the display size. People like to have a big display on their phones. They want to play, see a movie, navigate the internet. All in one gadget. A phone that can incorporate all of the above. How will someone enjoy a movie on this nokia?or use the GPS? You are trying to change EVERYTHING. You`re not that strong.. anymore. These is a reason why Samsung is no.1 . They understand people`s needs You ignore them.Bad move
@project5erotonin yea it's crazy this year, it's happening to my friends as well. Positive and altruistic attitude will help your progression as well, so good luck at keep at it.
I love all these future tech videos, but when a company puts out one that is clearly just a load of shiny bollucks based in a fantasy world that wont be possible for a decade or more (probably more) it's a bit pointless. I enjoy awesome future concepts that are actually viable.
@roboflexxx See, that's the beauty of Nanotech... it's technology, but on a NANO scale. Wide range of possibilities. If Nokia didn't think it at least somewhat feasible, I doubt they'd put any R&D funding into it.
I can't grasp the why anyone would think that shape is good for a smartphone. Sure, it looks kinda cool and futuristic, but using it for anything seems awkward. Viewing pictures in that format? Browsering the internet? Watching a movie? I'd much prefer a regular rectangle 16:9 format.
@AleMasera Thought it looked like a flatworm, or fluke, myself. Maybe an asymmetrical design would be a better choice... this looks more like a home bath product... I almost expect a lufa pad to be on the other side.
first of all is that a phone or a stone and about feel the image didn`t nokia think about makin the images come true like if i took a pic of an Xbox 360 if i just grabbed it,it will come true that`s a very good phone but i wonder about the price anyone reply and tell me what u think ^_^
@dedalosgrc Since 1995, when Hong Kong went back to China. Until 1995 the westerners were in charge with the island and there the Christian religion was widely spread - and names like Maria, John, Joseph and Magdalene were common. But you're right Maria is not chinese name by it's origin.
Absolute cinema and nostalgia
Simply amazing. This is the future of cell phones and very indistinguishable from real magic!
As Arthur C. Clarke said: "Sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
this with a rectangle form would be awesome!
just like many concept cars this is light years away from being possible.
no batteries, no touchscreen that can handle this, no "bending" sensors.
this,at best, a pipe dream
of course!
Flexibility, transparency, and zero non-display area is lovely. That profile is not - it looks like a garish menstrual pad. Or maybe a miniature surf board.
This thing looks exelent. I like idea and hope they will make it soon.
It's 2021, Corona Pandemic is going on. Still can't find this masterpiece on earth... 😐
The technology is out of this world. the shape however is a bit odd but futuristic, where not ready for a phone in that shape, but we are ready for the technology. I would buy it just to play around with the technology. Go Nokia
Nokia keeps showing us concepts the market is not ready for and the market keeps showing nokia they are so faar behind what they already have... ;)
I just wanna say "wow" That's really awesome.
@341464 The japanese already invented somethink similar, so you can actually feel the keys when you dial a number on the phone's touchscreen, and when you type a message you feel like you would type it on an actual keyboard.
I wish they stop making these AWESOME concepts and put it in the market! =D
Awesome concept would love to see it happen but highly doubt it but just in case definitely need the shape to be changed up a little bit didn't really think dildo right away but the shape does seem a bit impractical
Absolutely lovely. Beautiful. Elegant. Amazing.
@SoCalPaisa how about other peripherals? like flash or sim cards? earphones? CAMERA? or the camera is transparent too ?
@MoOtJeMan Agreed, seeing as Nokia Morph just faded away
こんだけ形状が変わっても、着信音はあのメロディなんだなぁ。
I'm pretty happy to experience this!
@crazypat. Would you still expct typing as input method... Cmon
Very clever design. But is it possible to make it a little more phallic looking?
I can finally take pictures with my maxi pads!
Nokia, the company who invested more in research and still no real amazing products. I hope that all that millions spent in research will be used with a revolutionary product. Hope we do not have to wait 15 years...
Does it double as a maxi pad? Why would you want to feel a picture?
Flexible displays... SOON!! :)
@Motorbikesss "is not difficult for them to make it".... dude, most of the technology doesnt even exist yet, and if it does the phone would cost like $10,000 + . I do agree with u that we wont see something like this for at least 10 years
j'adore c'est trop class ce tel !!! I love ce téléphone .... ♥♥♥
when nokia makes this phone(i doubt it) it will be in 10 years and in ten years we wont be needing phones we will have a nanochip in our ears.
Pretty advanced vibrator if you ask me... Hope it's waterproof.
That all looks very nice; BUT WILL IT BLEND??
okay, how do you insert a sim card into this stuff for example?
That's good idea design. I like its.
I assume that it has temperature sensors and an ass-plug too, since it's modeled after a thermometer.
I live it!!!! I can't wait until it comes out
its amazing who can you feel the image???? is that possible???
esta padre este telefono y es de la compañia nokia...
i mean how can it really be totally transparent? How about the battery and stuff?
Where do I plug in the charger? :-P

I want to have this before I die.
@project5erotonin yea it's crazy this year, it's happening to my friends as well. Positive and altruistic attitude will help your progression as well, so good luck at keep at it.
is it made out of vapor?
unbelivably cool !!!
lol would be funny to see nokia come back from the dead and release concept like this in 2-5 years...probably won't though.
Woow!! Bring out this!!
this is weird but the commercial is cool
so where's the camera?
AMAZING...
ya but does it make a call.
ok.. so how do u type?
I like that song ;)
Now make it able to expand into a bigger screen and this is the best phone in the world? :>
by the time they make a real prototype we will be able to teleport to the person who we want to talk to = no need of the phone
I love all these future tech videos, but when a company puts out one that is clearly just a load of shiny bollucks based in a fantasy world that wont be possible for a decade or more (probably more) it's a bit pointless.

But will it blend?
Beautiful hardware, but without Android it is nothing. Android is the future.
Completely ok thing, only problem is the oval egg shape. Rounded rect will do fine...
Wooow Great work Great oncept!
Camera?
is it already released?
Yeah, now tell me, how would we be able to play games on that?
nice job!
when touching the screen just doesn't cut it any more. twist your... device to zoom
if nokia really have a phone like this i would give up iphone :D
إيييه , قد شفته مع الفضائيين يوم شطفونا :P
BUT, will it blend?
Take this for future vision apple :D
2022: Nokia is making generic phones as all of the other brands to still alive.
i waiting on market!!
@manueltaverass it's on the video actually... there is a photo of a chinese girl named "maria"
@roboflexxx See, that's the beauty of Nanotech... it's technology, but on a NANO scale. Wide range of possibilities. If Nokia didn't think it at least somewhat feasible, I doubt they'd put any R&D funding into it.
And how am I supposed to read an email on this?
Amazing shit! Could be a little biger and a nicer form! Would buy it right away!
@XareSoft are you kidding?
ever seen the n9 or lumia 800?
I can't grasp the why anyone would think that shape is good for a smartphone. Sure, it looks kinda cool and futuristic, but using it for anything seems awkward. Viewing pictures in that format? Browsering the internet? Watching a movie? I'd much prefer a regular rectangle 16:9 format.
what is this song?
Brought to you by Dr. Scholl's.
Let's hope it runs Android.
Anyone know the song?
@Sporcoification Its called "vision"
@AleMasera Thought it looked like a flatworm, or fluke, myself.
Maybe an asymmetrical design would be a better choice... this looks more like a home bath product... I almost expect a lufa pad to be on the other side.
Dont get me wrong though, cool stuff :D
feel the image..yes...
first of all is that a phone or a stone and about feel the image didn`t nokia think about makin the images come true like if i took a pic of an Xbox 360 if i just grabbed it,it will come true that`s a very good phone but i wonder about the price anyone reply and tell me what u think ^_^
