- The 2021 MX National Championships made its second stop at Thunder Valley just outside of Denver, Colorado and the race offered a feeling of normalcy as fans were in attendance. Those on hand were treated to four action-packed motos that saw three different winners, great battles, and some championship heartbreaks for a few favorites. After the checkered flag flew, we hustled to the pits to ask racers, "How Was Your Weekend?" Press play and hear from some of the classes top racers!
Barcia!!! Plesinger! Hell yeah!!!! Barcia is looking so cool on that GasGas! What a great idea to sign the guy! And now Plesinger is just killing it! My favorite two riders at the moment, in the 450 class. Although I’m stoked to see Sexton, AC and the Frenchman just all having some spectacular moments! So much talent and speed in this class this year! In both classes! It’s a GREAT YEAR for American moto!
The talent has been steadily rising in MX but now it's just insane. The generation inspired by the RC, CR, JS battles have all come of age and there are a bunch of them.
I hope somebody takes out Ferrandis he is a little Frenchie punk and needs to get a reality check

@@iancarney7729 craig has no room to talk and his fans are pathetic. Sending death threats to dielon and his wife after that yet Craig completely plowed Amart and sent him flying off his bike DURING PRACTICE and ended his season. It's funny how when an American cleans someone out, the fans love it but when a foreign rider shows up and takes someone out, he gets death threats etc. Girl friend / team get death threats etc.

Last week wrenching for my buddy I got to meet Dylan in the pits and speak to him personally and this is his career, this means everything to him, it’s not a show like some not classy riders and he may seem aggressive but it’s simply him wanting to win more. He’s not dirty and anyone who says he is I can bet they don’t race personally or they are scared or against Frenchmen
Dylan starts bringing that same energy he had in 250s everyone's in trouble
If Eli gets his head out of his ass and starts working on his starts, everyone including Dylan is in trouble.

@@RJManeri1 My opinion is- AC might have received a better contract/ package and Eli is now trying to break the contract without any financial consequences. He's too good of a racer to place this far back...

When was the last time Honda was leading the points in both MX classes? The 90's? Have two foreign riders led the points in both MX classes before?

I think Eli is waiting for tracks more loamy for beast mode and stay ready for Yam and a change from green I think will suit him. Eli is not done and if people think that your wrong as he is a focused guy with Star Yamaha riders as well, 100% beast mode.

I think he just doesn’t like the Kawasaki anymore. I know they’re two different bikes but on either the 250 or 450, no one can ride that bike fast without eating dirt. Macadoo, Forkner, AC, and Smith have all had major problems crashing. Maybe Eli is just taking it easy until he gets on the Yamaha

People need to stop hating on euros coming over.... they come here for opportunity and bring us competition/entertain us all. Imo best riders in the world come from France. Glad to see kenny and dylan do so well

Dylan is a beast so far this season! Great to see others than the usual guys compete like this..
His fitness is crazy. His heart rate is between 35/40 per minute in the morning.

Dylan has been a favorite of mine since his MXGP days. I knew when he crossed the pond he would do well in the states. His corner speed is amazing. My question is when are some American riders going to nut up and come race the MXGP series?
Not enough money. The supercross contracts are where its at. Thats why it was such a big deal VP came over. He would have made double in the states that year. I would love to see it as well. But I dont know of one now that would do that good. Its like asking a GP rider to come over and do good in supercross, it takes years. Look at Max, now that he spent all sx season training he is experiencing the supercross hang over. Max is a top 10 outdoor rider but he now cant figure the bike out. They would have to come over at a young age, but why would they? Money is big in supercross, those stadiums are what every kid dreams of growing up here. Again I would love to see it but danger boy Deagan has as much chance going to race the GP's as I do getting off the couch and trying to qualify. It would be really cool, I was glued to the TV and bought into the subscriptions the year VP signed up.

Tomacs just chillin staying healthy and injury free so next year he’s good to go. You can tell in his voice he just wants to get this year over with. Idk if he’ll be on Yamaha for supercross next year but if so that’s what he’s focusing on I bet.
@@RyansResolve yea so why push it in outdoors this season? I’m a big Tomac fan and hate watching him “roll around” so I’m optimistic about next supercross. I’m hoping he’s playing it like f you guys I’m just gonna ride this one out. Then bam Yamaha he’s gonna push and be dominant again using the bad kawi situation as motivation and like a back at ya kinda thing. If that makes sense. Lol

@@blackfly53 not the same equipment, different suspension brands, they said they have different engine configurations and other stuff. Tomac has had this problem with Kawi other seasons where they set up the bike and tell the riders to rode it. The factory and higher ups don't want them to test and change things, etc. They want the team to run what the sponsors and factory supply whether it works or not. Unlike star Yamaha who will test like crazy and change whatever is needed to win.
@@blackfly53 AC at this point in time is the fastest guy on the track. Look at the qualifying times and the 1st moto in Pala. AC is struggling with that KX also. So far he has overalled a couple places ahead of and behind Tomac. These guys claiming the field is "stacked". It has been. Kenny went 1-1. This is the same guy Eli won 4 championships against. The lap times are no faster, Eli was 2 seconds a lap off!!! Eli has struggled since Kawasaki released that latest generation kx. The fact that he won on it is just a testament to his speed. AC need to get that bike figured out also. He starts at the front and works backwards. Eli never got good starts. So he is in a deeper hole.
Eli is one of the fastest riders outdoors it makes no sense seein him not even top ten and kennys leading races by 10secs when just a couple years ago they were battling for first outdoors

Interested to see if we see a revitalized Tomac on the Yamaha. If he gels with the team and the bike I think we could see a very different Eli Tomac next year.
@@alondite215 very interested to see if the switch and him working with a few people he's comfortable with helps. If they get that bike dialed and he's comfortable we could see Tomac of old.
Otherwise we might just see him collecting a pay cheque for 2 years.

Lots of people have left Kawasaki in the later years of their career and it didn't benefit them. It's all downhill from here

@@SamMartinez22 guess you didn't watch supercross past few years. Ken folded mentally each year. Hell, At one race this year, Ken was in first and ended up 10th. Never crashed. Got passed by Sexton an Webb then gave up. I think it was final round of SX but could be wrong on the round.
Tomac has quit he is not even trying he gave that interview before the race saying he had a lot left in the tank this was his home track he was going to put on a good showing but he just road around and got 10-13 place finish if I was kawi I would part was with him right now all he is doing is making his self and kawi look bad and every one nose kawi is one of the best bikes out there
Another Eli hater I see. You have no idea what’s going on with him. Did you ever figure the team has been screwing him like they did Savagty before Adam was coming next to the team. Kawasaki screwed Savagty big time with crap on his bike. Go back and watch how fast Savagty was at the US open smoked everyone but Eli. But the team wanted Adam that was up and coming. So his bike became an experiment with certain things which didn’t handle for crap motor problems and so on but Eli bike was fine. Eli also awhile back asked for certain changes to his bike and they wouldn’t do it cause it doesn’t represent the production bike. The 2021 Kawasaki doesn’t handle that great compared to a few years ago. How do I know ask all my friends that have the bike. Also if you notice everyone on the Kawasaki thas been pushing them fast wipe out they don’t handle like they did before so they are searching for a better way. Also did you think that since Tomac likes the Yamaha and is going to them after this that maybe the team isn’t giving him certain things to make him look bad? 🤔 manager problems like McGrath had? It’s endless.
Judging by AC’s crashes, McAdoos crashes, and Austin forkners mistakes, I’d be scared to buy a Kawasaki and if I was tomac I definitely wouldn’t be pushing it

I'd say its the other way around. The mxgp bikes are aloud to be so modified that they arent even close to a factory poduction bike. Atleast thats how it used to be.
Some how it seems that even the ama is rigged like boxing and everything else. To much bs is going on. You don't go from first to getting whipped by the guy who couldn't finish in the top 3 on a regular basis.
