Solid video. Kearney, Nebraska is pronounced CAR-KNEE.

🎉 Happy Union Pacific Train!
It's pronounced " KAR NEY ' like ( car knee ). I worked for UP and that's a hell of a busy railroad . Bailey yard is a site to see . There used to be a bunch of center sidings and looks like they finally connected all of them to complete a third rail .
How hard would it be to call the TV station, a hardware store or a McDonalds in CAR-knee to ask someone how to pronounce the name of the city?
How about "A loaded (or empty) welded rail train." The term "continuous welded rail" is a stretch beyond the end of the rail string.
Also bailey yard can be pretty crazy at times,i work there and it can be a headache plenty
16:35 - I think that's the largest number of locomotives I've ever seen in one shot. Bra-vo.
21:49 - I wish I had a local spot where I could see a train "minutes behind" another one. 🙂
Tyler Mac see your schedule is going
What video camera you got?
Is this whats known as The Cornhusker Line?
Kearney Nebraska is pronounced like Car Knee
Thank you for the correction
Mixed freight trains are called MANIFEST AND SINGLE FREIGHT TRAINS ARE CALLED CONSISTS.
Like intermodal or coal or grain.
Since they switched to the unirail
The track speed for freight trains is
50mph and Amtrak is 60+ mph
Tnks, 4 the Education-- GEVO-ON !!🎉
Nice work !
for example, this train operates in Indonesia, the road that this train passes is badly congested... let alone this long train... ordinary passenger trains are very congested, let alone this longest train... greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Up takes real good care of these sections. All concrete ties, moveable frog switches. I’m sure Amtrak would love to run their trains over it from its smooth ride
Yeah, it was very impressive to see how much investment there was in the tracks here
Hai salam kenal
What does "Union Pacific GE AC44CW#6389-FLAG" mean?
