This is an incredible channel. You literally get the best vantage points for rail fanning in the most scenic places in North America. And with winter snow scenes. We traveled to British Columbia and Alberta in 2015 & 2016 and saw a small fraction of these locations. Excellent filming.
There is talk CN is moving it's crew change location from Jasper to Hinton now. I worked along the Grande Cache North sub (attaches to Swan Landing to the south) back in the 2000's. Thanks for sharing.
Your videos are done so well. Every aspect of them is professionalism at its greatest. From the narration to the wonderful videography and editing it is superb! I consider these works to be gifts that are beautiful to watch, listen to and just sit back and relax for up to 2 or more hours on the longer ones. Bravo 7idea Productions… BRAVO!
Interesting/informative/entertaining. Excellent photography job enabling viewers to better understand what the orator is describing. Noticed graffiti art work on box and tanker cars. Wondering if the artists are seeing 👀their creations on this presentation -???😳. What makes this presentation exceptionally professional. Is summer & winter months photography -!!!😉. Viewing this presentation from the comfort zone of my computer room. Along the " Space Coast "🚀of Florida 🐊🐊. Wishing viewers& R.R. Employees. A safe/healthy/prosperous/( 2024 ) 🌈🎉😉. Jasper park is in the top 10 park preserves on the 🌎.
I have fond memories of Hinton in the '80s.........the beautiful scenery more than made up for the stink of the pulp mill.......cheers from Oshawa Ontario.....
Another stunning and amazing production, you really do hold the bar for high quality and informative videos and i thank you so much for sharing them with us
That bridge @13:41 is constructed near identical to all the Milwaukee railroad bridges, not a single weld on the lower substructure, just flat bar and angle iron with alot of rivets holding it all together,
Little Fun Fact: The Fraser River is a Gold Mecca! However, more gold is found north of Vancouver to Quesnel River! CN has tracks that run that stretch as well, even on both sides of the River!
Thanks for advising the red marker light with the trailing D.P.U @ "8:42" above the engineer's window on the C.N locomotive (red)😮 Wondered why I didn't see them on U.S locomotives as a comparison 🤔 Here, in my native New Zealand 🇳🇿 we have as a common practice a double trailing rear red tail light 🚦🚦 This is similar to U.K or E.E.C road regulations for cars 🚗 🤔 rear fog guard lamps 🔦 ❤
Canada is a beautiful country. Love your railroad and how well it’s maintained. Eish thd railroads were managed thatcwell in the United States. Our rsils are all needingvrepkaced and then theyvwill be safer than they are now.
hey 7Idea, I love the videos you guys put out. Would I be able to use a few of the shots in this video for a project I'm working on for the grand railway hotels of Canada? i'll credit you appropriately for it and also happy to send a private link for you to see before hand. Thanks again :)
Banff is actually on the CP's Laggon Sub. East of Kicking Horse Pass. Considerably south of this CN line. I will say that both rail lines are simply spectacular and these videos don't do them justice.
Wish I didn't have an evening shift to work tonight, guess I'll have to stay up late and watch this afterward
just smoke crack

Super great video. Thank you for showcasing a part of our beautiful country to the rest of the world!

Especially for folks whom will never personally see 👀-!!!. 😉

This is a great video thank you for sharing.
I gotta get me back up to jasper national park, and listen to those whining traction motors echo through the mountains. Great vid!!

You certainly get a lot of products frChina.
MOST OF US IN CANADA CANT AFFORD A RAIL TRIP LMAO
How did you get the shot @20:40? I've been there, and didn't see any vantage point for that elevated angle
It was just a short walk off of the road. As I recall, I followed a set of wheel ruts that led me to the spot.
@@7ideaproductionsthx!
The lake near Hinton, Brule Lake, it’s pronounced, ‘brew lay’ it is a French name… I should know as that is my last name! 😂
Thanks for the correction!

Did bro really see a dash 8 (D8-C32B) 😦 0:45
Hinton the great train wreck sight?
Why does CN only use one locomotive at the head? BNSF almost always uses 3.
There's DPU's in the middle and on the ends.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😝
P.S EMDs rule!!
this was mostly shot in banff, decieving!!!

Wrong. I worked there for 32 years and it is definitely. not Banff
Definitely Hinton to Red Pass.
