The first time I saw Taj in 1970, Corrina was the one song I most wanted to hear. Someone yelled it out, and Taj said something like "If you knew me better you'd know I wouldn't leave here tonight without singing Corrina." I was happy to hear that, but a little sad because I was hoping he would save it for an extended encore version. Taj did not disappoint me! And when I saw him in 1971, he was touring with a bigger band including the "tuba chorus" as he called the four brass players. And at the end of the solo set he used to open his shows with, he said that he wanted to make the audience comfortable before bringing them on, so he did an acoustic version of Corrina. Still my favorite, though Queen Bee is right up there too.
This is wonderful & I have the CD on order, BUT, what is it with members of the audience putting on their phones & recording the event? It's a concert folk, just enjoy the bloody thing live as it is! I saw Dylan in Dublin a while back where the phones were banned and it made such a difference to the gig with no distractions. God, give me patience!

You have good taste, those are two of my favorites.
Taj Mahal is an American Blues GIANT and a world musical monument respected all over the world
A national treasure
Striking that songs from 70's sound with an added texture and urgency. Taj... the master.

So inconsiderate too, blocking the view of people behind them.
