I thought a CAL was a video tutorial where the person just crocheted very slowly so that you could follow along - I’ve learnt new stitches this way. I had no idea it was a great project like this! I think she mentioned last Sunday that you could use three colors, but she has designed it for one color. I don't think you would use the same amount of each color if I remember correctly.

Hi Anja! I tried a CAL last summer. It was 8 weeks. Two weeks in we had extended visitors so had to put it aside. But got caught up when they left. It was great because even though I was behind I didn’t miss anything. My daughter and grandson were coming to visit over Easter break, but with this Coronavirus they had to cancel. I’m so bummed out about it but at least I have your CAL to look forward to. 💓 Chris

I am currently doing your 2019 CAL and it is my first one. I am being careful not to jump ahead because I am really enjoying the mystery 😊 and I love the way you've mapped everything out, although, speaking from the middle of the COVID-19 lockdown in Canada, I'm am working from stash with some superwash DK and hoping my colourway turns out ok. I may have to improvise, lol, but so far am just finishing up Week 1 ❤️

BTW as a relatively new to ur channel, do you design CAL projects? bcz I went thru ur site and only find yars and hooks. I mean maybe I missed sth ? or you just work on attic24 CALs?
I LOVE that grey/blue striped stitch sampler blanket. Where did you get that pattern? I would love to get it. That moorland coloring is incredible! The lily pond is definitely on my "want to make" list. So many blankets, so little time. LOL I've done a few CALs, including mystery ones. I'm not a fan of the mysteries because my color choices aren't necessarily what I want if I don't know what I'm making. I did one mystery CAL. Started just a week or two late. Thankfully, late enough to at least find out the "concept" which led me to change up my color choices a little. I didn't love what they had in mind so I altered it a bit. Ironically, I had been torn between two color combos. Had I known the design going in, I would have chosen the one I didn't choose. LOL So I like to wait on the mysteries to see what is revealed. Also, I've done a few, non mystery ones, where there are problems/errors in the pattern or diagrams. And I don't have a lot of patience for frogging unnecessarily (that is, not of my own making). So I like to wait a bit for the kinks to get worked out. There might still be issues with the pattern but, if I know what the problems are, I can at least work around them before starting it. Off topic, but on my birthday, February 10, 2016, at about 10pm my time, you taught me to crochet. Watched your videos for all the basic stitches and started a mug cozy that night with the stitches. I got carried away, made it too big, so I folded and stitched it and made it into a little pouch that held tea bags in my purse for quite awhile. So whenever I think of you, I think of you as the one who taught me to crochet. You started this whole crochet addiction. LOL. My poor knitting looms have been neglected since then. I watched some of your videos for more advanced stuff, before I learned the stitches, but it made me really want to learn. :)
