18yrs ago, Dave Ramsey's system changed the way my wife and I live. The sacrifice is tough, but worth it when you can pursue your passion! My kids are just getting to the age where we can spend more time in the mountains!
That’s so awesome! And we agree 100%- the sacrifice is tough, but it’s just for a period of your life and the reward is sooo worth it 😊 That’s awesome that you’re getting to spend more time in the mountains with your family! Hopefully you guys make a bunch of amazing memories together! 😊
Yes!!! 🙌🙌 I’m doing my best to encourage my younger brothers to be frugal and start planning young. The younger you start the easier your financial life will be in your 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s…. We wish we would have started sooner, but that was a big reason for working so hard and really trying to sprint to pay it all off. It was motivating for sure. Thank you so much for watching and for your comment! We really appreciate it! ☺️
I felt this video was very heart felt and sincere, hopefully your story can help others that are struggling in debt. I admire you both for putting yourselves out there your story shows that anyone can do this if you are goal oriented. Much appreciated! Thanks
Thank you so much! It definitely has been on our hearts to share this for a while. We hope it helps others! It is definitely uncomfortable sharing personal things here, but if it can help even one person than it’s worth it! While we were in the thick of it we would watch videos similar to this and get inspired to keep going! We appreciated people transparency and their stories of how they accomplished their debt payoff journey. So we hope we can be a little light in someone else’s journey. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! We really appreciate it ☺️
@@angelasimpson802 congrats for being on the path to freedom! We know exactly how hard it is and the sacrifices you have to make. JUST KEEP GOING! you guys have got this 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 thank you for watching, it was tough at times and felt impossible when we started, but as you gain momentum it almost turns into a game of how fast can we get through this! ☺️🙌🏼 the other side is AMAZING! 🫶🏻
In a word you two are financially savvy. I admire the patience and grit you’ve used to get where you’re at. Here’s to a bright future and all the success in your new endeavors! 🍻
Unfortunately we weren’t always, which is why we had to claw our way out! Haha but it makes our story relatable for many. Thank you so much, it seemed never ending at times but we kept faith and we knew at some point all the hard work would pay off. And cheers! To the next chapter and figuring out what all that holds!! ☺️🙌🙌🙌 thank you for watching, and thank you for taking the time to leave your comment! We really appreciate it ☺️
So PROUD of you guys. 85K is a huge number, but the key word is you "sacrificed" to get out of debt. My 1st late husband and I went thru FPU in the early 90's, but never got out of debt. When he passed in 2005, I pd off 2 mortgages and have never gotten back in debt since, even through another marriage. Sadly, 2nd hubby passed 18 mos ago, but God is faithful. Stay focused, God will provide when you are faithful. 🥰 Love, love, love your videos. Thanks for sharing your life and GORGEOUS VIEWS with us. ❤
Thank you so much! ❤️ And that’s incredible that you got debt free! Two mortgages is no easy task at all! So sorry for your losses. We really appreciate you commenting and taking the time to watch! It’s always encouraging to read people’s kind words ☺️❤️❤️
@@MTN_BUILT I anxiously await your next video every time 🥰 I really appreciate your transparency. I've been wondering what your "story" was, so this video was awesome. ❤️ I LOVE that part of the northwest. Especially the Bitterroot Valley south of Missoula, and north of Missoula, Big Sky, Flathead Lake, Glacier National Park, but it's allll beautiful, from Jackon Hole, the Tetons, all the way north to Canada. However, I'm now over 70 yrs old and Oklahoma is HOME. 🤷♀️ So I "live" through videos like you guys put out. 😀 Thank you again for entertaining me 😘
Still regret being sensible, selling my horse. He was a great horse and l loved him. I don't know how but there should have been another way. Here grazing land is scarce and its made worse because everyone wants to make a fortune selling building land. Consequently, my horsey had to live too far away. He helped the deposit for our first fixer upper home😢. Every day you hear of horses given up for college, career, debt, time, lost grazing or livery. And sanctuaries bursting at the seams picking up the pieces of our throwaway society. I hate how life tells us to be sensible and how our horsey friends suffer for it out of sight. Good though you made your dreams come true and your mules will have their forever home with you🎉
It’s a really tough decision to make and I wouldn’t judge anyone either way. It’s super personal, and it was INCREDIBLY difficult for Alyssa and me to get rid of ours. We didn’t sell them… we just gave them to good homes, but it was the right choice for us. Thank you for watching and taking time to leave a nice comment. We really appreciate it 😊
Dave Ramsey program has helped me and my family get 100%debit free too! I used to live in a few towns over from where you guys live. But have since moved our family to Alaska! Thanks for sharing your story! It can be done! Great work guys
That’s awesome! Congrats to you guys! It’s such a great feeling and absolutely worth the hard work 😊 That’s pretty cool that you guys moved to Alaska! Talk about a lot of cool country to explore! 🤯👍🏼
Hi Jason and Alyssa, thanks so much for sharing your story. Both of you work very hard! It seems like RUclips is starting to take off, so i hope this works out. Take care and God bless you both! 😊
Thank you so much!! We really appreciate you watching and also taking the time to comment! ☺️ we sure hope it will take off! If not we are still having fun anyways! ☺️
Stumbled across this video and I'm happy I did. Such a heartfelt and sincere discussion. Congrats on getting out of debt and freeing yourselves from that bondage - best of luck in all of your future endeavors!!
Awesome!! Thank you so much for watching and for taking time to leave such a nice comment! 😊 We’re so thankful to be out of that stage… it really is like a weight off our shoulders 😊🙏🏼
Wow! Thank you so much! Thats so encouraging 😊 Thank you for taking time to check out our channel and for leaving such a nice comment! It means a lot to us 😊
My heart goes out to her and you giving up what you truly love to grab ahold of what was right and now look at you two , beautiful story , beautiful life 🐴🐴🐴🫶🏼
Wow! Thank you so much for taking time to leave such a nice comment 😊 We feel so blessed to be in the situation we’re in now. That season of sacrifice has paid off more than we ever hoped! It wasn’t easy, but I was sure worth it 😊🙏🏼
Nice to see people being responsible for their debts. Seems like so many are always looking for an easy way out and you did it with the grind. You two are a great example of hard work and discipline to reach some goals. I don't think they can be considered long term goals since you two are still so young ;) and have a great future ahead.
Man thank you so much! This is such a nice comment 😊 once we dedicated ourselves to the goal of getting out of debt, we had several blessings and the process went quicker than we expected 🙏🏼 It was absolutely worth the effort!
@@MTN_BUILT Good on you two. I watched your bighorn video. It showed the same dedication. It's in your DNA ;) Now don't slack off, keep it rolling. Uncle Sam will not take care of your $$'s when you get old!
@@oregonarcher thank you!! That was a heck of an experience! 😊 And that’s such a good point! We’re trying to stay focused and set enough aside for our future. Hopefully we continue to be blessed 😊🙏🏼
I gave up my horse for over twenty years, just got a horse back in my life and will never give up horses again. I had them in my life at 6 years old and now im 60. Don't give up your horse. Shane was a 17.2 thourobred and I will never find a horse as kind as he was .😢
Oh man, that’s SO HARD 😕 We pray that we’ll always be able to have horses, from now on 😊 We’re actually planning to have a really nice retirement pasture for the mules we have right now- that’s one of the main goals on our current list.
@MTN_BUILT That's awesome, yesvI was only 17 and my mom was laid off from Chevy, So she had to sell him . Broke 💔 💔 my heart ❤️ It's been decades and I still think about him 😔 I am leasing a Amish auction 14.3 black and white paint gelding, Naked Jigsaw, and I am currently looking for a horse of my own when my lease is up. My friend has 88 acres and we are thinking about opening a rescue . We would be living on the land too. We both lost our husband's of 30 plus year's. That's why I went back to my life's passion, I was so depressed 😔
Guys, I don’t want to sound cliche but genuinely just keep doing you and you’ll continue being happy! Money is a means of getting to your goals, but money isn’t THE goal. Lifestyle is. Thank you for sharing and being honest. I’m only like 10 minutes into the video but I think you’re brilliant and your content is fantastic. Sending love from England 👋
Thank you so much!! We couldn’t agree more! We just need enough to live a lifestyle that we value and we’ll be happy! Thank you for watching and taking time to leave such a nice comment! 😊
Hope others watching can take something away positive from this. I'm older than you and wish I could have been told how to do this when I was young. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! We hope so too! It’s always uncomfortable to show vulnerability and personal things, but if it helps even one person or family then it’s worth it! ☺️🙌 it’s never too late to start! We wished we would have started sooner too, but that was one of the reasons we doubled down and worked so hard ☺️🙌 thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! We really appreciate it!
Very encouraging video, thanks for sharing some of your journey, appreciate your honesty and hard work to dig out of a financial problem. sorry I don't do Instagram or other phone apps to techy for me. One comment what caught my attention when I first started watching your videos is how gentle you both were with your mules, looking to more in the future.
Thank you so much! It was a journey for sure but so worth it!! 😊 yes! They are like family and we work hard to build a trusting relationship with each one of them❤ we appreciate your comment, thank you for taking the time to leave it! 😊
Great, down to earth video. One thing not really said, is if you are intent on a dream, find a partner that is similarly intent in a similar dream. What I enjoy about your two is it is clear that you are friends and partners with goals toward a mutual dream. I have enjoyed all your content (I'm subbed at first finding you). Maggie (my little mule that grew huge) and I are coming along behind you and enjoying every minute of the ride.... Just keep doing what you're doing....I'm loving it!
Thank you so much for this comment! You’re spot on about finding the right partner… Alyssa and I are so thankful to get to set goals and work through life together, and it’s so nice to have goals that are well-aligned 😊🙏🏼 That’s super cool that you have a mule of your own! They’re such amazing animals! Keep us posted on how things are going with Maggie- we’d love to hear what you guys are up to! 😊 Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave such a nice comment 😊
Thank you so much! We hope our transparency can be inspiration for others who are struggling through their own journey! And thank you for taking the time to watch and to comment, we really enjoy hearing from you all ☺️
Hello! I follow you from Romania. I appreciate what you do and thanks for sharing. Maybe it would be a good idea to post more often! Also as an idea, I think a video presentation of the mules and the horse would be appropriate. All the best!
Thank you! Yes we definitely need to be a bit more consistent, we shoot for once a week but sometimes it’s a bit longer 🙂 and that is a great idea, we have a plan for a video just like that… still need to film it though lol! Thank you so much for watching and for the feedback!!
Great informational video. You seem to have it all together. Most want more than they Need and want it Now so it can become a major finicial fiasco. Then they are a slave to debt. Enjoy the journey thru life. Loved hearing about your journey so far and look forward to more great adventures Out There. Happy Trails from NM
Thank you so much! It can definitely take a long time to get out of it, and even longer when you pay cash going forward. But the opportunities that open up when you aren’t tied by debt are amazing! Thank you again, we appreciate your time watching and leaving a comment! ☺️
Great Job y'all! Thank you for sharing, and keep up the great content. We love the videos, and your channel. After many years making our living in the horse industry we have slowed down and I now pastor a little church. Along with these changes we have now gotten our first mule and look forward to adding more and doing more with them. Thanks again and God bless!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊 That’s so cool that you’re a pastor now… AND a mule owner too. Sounds like our kind of people 😊😊 God bless you guys as well! Good luck with the new church and mule!
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! We are glad you enjoyed it! We weren’t sure how this video would be received but we had it on our hearts to share. ❤️
Love this :) you guys are amazing. One thing I would say, is that I used to be a Realtor and my clients who followed Dave Ramsey struggled to buy homes because they had no credit history. I would suggest having a credit card (if you can trust yourself!!!!) and run your monthly expenses through it and pay it off EVERY MONTH. so use it like a checking account. This will build awesome credit and prove to mortgage lenders that you are diligent and trusty borrowers when it comes to getting a mortgage. This will allow you to buy a house AND get you a better rate which will save you tens of thousands. We also get the perk of getting airmiles on our credit card which allows us to visit family for free.
Thank you so much! And you’re absolutely right! I wish there was a better way around the whole credit score system- I get its purpose, but I wish there was a simpler route for folks who’d rather not play that game! Thanks so much for watching and taking time to leave a nice, helpful comment! We really appreciate it! 😊🙏🏼
@@Jennifer35678 yeah we got the fidelity card. It’s nice because the cash back goes into our retirement account, and we have it so it gets paid off before any interest is ever accumulated. We just use it for bills we would be paying out of a bank account anyways.
You two sound very smart to try to make things work. Congrats on the hard work. back in our younger days, we were into our horses. now in our 70 s to much to talk about , but we lost a 25 year 0ld son in 2004 and it was a long time before my wife would even look at a horse. I have decided to subscribe to your channel. God Bless
Oh man, that must have been so hard. I’m sorry you guys had to go through that… I can only imagine how difficult that would be. Thank you for subscribing and taking time to leave such a thoughtful comment. We really appreciate it. God bless you guys as well 😊

I'm down to three payments, my jeep, and my whole life insurance and my home. I started making extra payment's on it. Once my Jeep is payed off, l will start paying off my home. I was just going to buy a truck and a trailer and get some mules until i watched a Dave Ramsey video. That will have to wait.
I make craft items & sell them. I do dream catchers, jewery, I paint sometimes as well. I'm going to be selling them to help pay off what I owe with the credit card. I havnt worked for 11 years & with diabetes it's hard being on my feet for amount of time.
I just found you guys, first video I watched was the new little mule. Then I watched a couple more but subscribed from first one. But looking forward to hearing and seeing what all you do. I didn't have as big dreams as you but I get the debt thing getting out so you can accomplish what you want. Can't wait to see your bnb.

We’re excited about the way things are going and we plan to share the whole journey, with hopes that people can learn from our successes and failures along the way 😊🙏🏼 Thanks again, and have a great day!
Thank you!! And yes please do! Our goal is to show content that you our subscribers like! This one is a bit difference but hopefully it can be of inspiration 😊
@@MTN_BUILT absolutely! my husband and I have been working at it but definitely could sacrifice more. This video helped give me the motivation to get err done.
@@shadurg that’s awesome! The season of sacrifice is so tough when you’re in the middle of it, but it will pay off! Keep at it and have an awesome Christmas! 😊
Thank you for all of your great content, including this one! Certainly admire who you are as individuals and Harrison and look forward to continued following. Unfortunately, I’m not on Instagram to leave this, but hopefully it will reach you. Thanks again!
Thank you so much! Thank you for your continued support and taking the time to watch and leave this comment! ☺️ it’s always encouraging to us to see people are enjoying our videos. This one was a bit different but I’m glad we shared it, it seems as though it helped inspire some who are following the same path. Thank you again for leaving such a kind comment ☺️
This video is a good one. When I was a young man ( a long time ago ) and had no debt, I was advised to do this. The first bill you pay is 10% of your pay check each and every month to yourself and put it in a savings account. You live on the remaining 90%. Is great advise BUT is very difficult to get done :) Hope you had a fun ride!!
Thank you! And that’s such great advice! 😊 It is really hard to do, but totally worth the effort and it builds security, which is SO NICE! Thank you for watching and taking time to leave a nice, helpful comment! 😊
Thanks for your story, told with candor and transparency. I am looking to do something similar in terms of lifestyle, and you two are helpful to that end in sharing your thought process. I enjoyed your buck and rail video, and would appreciate more “how to” videos on setting up a small equine property. You mentioned clearing sagebrush for pasture; did you do that by hand or with a skid steer?
Awesome! Thank you so much for taking time to watch and for leaving such a nice comment :) Yes, on our old property that we sold, we cleared about 3 acres with a skid steer... It worked pretty good, but the sage definitely started to come back after a couple years.
My husband & I been married 12 years & we never had a honeymoon. He's native american iroquois 6 nation & I have Cherokee in my blood. We had a very nice Indian wedding, the Kansas city Indian center married us. They never charged us anything. My husband cooked native food for 3 days. The Indian center gave me a nice dress & leggins to get married in. We stood on a Buffalo hide. I am in depth with the credit card. Over 1000.00 in det. I'm hoping next year I will have it paid off so we can find us our own place, I hate renting !!!
That sounds like an amazing wedding!! ☺️ you guys can do it! We liked to make a chart on graph paper with each block representing a certain dollar amount of debt. Then when you pay off some you color in the squares of the amount you paid off… until they are all colored in and you can celebrate being debt free!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 it was a fun way to do it!
Ok I finished the video loved it you guys are real honest and I like that what are your ages I was watching Clyde behind you and laid down most of the time while reata did not lol I just found that amusing also I'd kind of like to see the double wide and was confused whether you are in Oregon or Idaho sorry your financial breakdown I applaud the sacrifice I'd kind of like 5o know what the 2.5 acre lot sold for just in case I want to buy property in Jackson hole just being nosey do the mules get along I enjoyed this video immensely looking forward to the next thanks kray I'm not on Instagram sorry
Thank you so much! That was actually Reata taking a nap haha and Timber next to her, you can kind of see Cedar in the background and Clyde was behind a tree. We couldn’t quite get them all in the shot! 🙂 we sold a 4 acre lot an hour-ish from Jackson hole for $150k. No driveway, power, septic, well… just a vacant undeveloped lot. It was attached to our fixer upper house when we bought it. The house still sold with 3.5 acres as well 🙂 They do! Except when we put them in a small pen together. Clyde and Timber will kick at the others. But in a decent size pen and in general, they all get along really well ☺️ thank you again for watching!!! ❤️
You guys are freaking awesome. Very humble and successful, Well done on your journey to financial freedom. New to the channel but enjoying all the content so far!!
I love your remarks on going to horse and mule sales. I'll bet you went to the Salmon Select Sale and Jake Clark's sale. We love our mules just like you guys love yours.
Thank you! Yeah, we went to Salmon Select! 😊 We haven’t been to Jake Clark yet, but we really want to go! We always look at the catalog and we’ve watched online the past few years 😊 They’re fun animals, and they’re sure easy to fall in love with! 😊
Your story is very inspirational thanks for sharing it. Is college worth that debt? I’m a blue collar guy with a 15yo girl (she gets good grades) and it terrifies me to borrow so much money. I don’t know how I could ever pay it off. Do the jobs you both were doing require the degree and make it worth the college debt? If I had a son I’d tell him to go into the trades (I’m an electrician) and I know technically women can do these jobs but the reality is that it’s extremely unlikely to work out.
Thank you for watching and taking time to leave such a thoughtful comment! Everyone’s situation is unique, so it’s hard to give a hard and fast answer, but I’ll give you my perspective. 😊 College was a great experience and I learned a lot of valuable skills by going to college (social skills, time management, etc.). But I’d say it wasn’t worth it financially for me. Alyssa actually didn’t go to college and she makes most of our money. She’s a taxidermist. I would say that college could be a good financial decision, if done right. For example, I wish I would have gone to a community college for my first two years and then a state school instead of a private university. If your daughter worked summers or even part time during the school year, I would think she could graduate with super minimal debt, or none at all. The worst thing is when you hear about people who just took out a pile of loans, and then they feel totally buried and hopeless when they start their adult life. At least you’re paying attention and not just blindly taking out loans! Hopefully you guys can make a plan that is a good fit for your situation- I think you will! 😊
Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sure you are giving inspiration to many people. I'm just curious, what jobs were you doing where you were paying down your debt ?
@MTN_BUILT thank you for replying. I have to say that l am really enjoying your channel. You both are so genuine. Keep up the good work. Love your mules and horse too!
You guys are awesome. Living in NW Montana it gets very expensive really quick. We have looked at selling our house as that would free up so much money. Then we gotta find 3 acres somewhere else Lol. I have been looking in Idaho, Washington state and Wyoming. Land is not getting cheaper.
Oh that’s so awesome! Hopefully the right opportunity will come up for you guys! We’re always watching real estate prices, and you’re right- it sure isn’t getting any cheaper! 😬 But hopefully the perfect place will come along for you guys 🙏🏼 Thanks for watching and taking time to leave such a nice comment! 😊
Sorry to keep bugging you guys but I wanted to share that I wrote a fictional dystopian book that was located in Wyoming so I did research the state and bordering states in order for it to be as real as possible. I just wanted to share that with you. I was in Cody when I was 11 dad took us from Maryland to California hitting as many states as we could in a brand new station wagon and pop up camper we loved camping and did it alot thanks kray
That’s awesome! Congrats! We love Cody, it’s a really neat little town. I bet that was so fun as a kid, getting to see so many different landscapes and lifestyles ☺️❤️
Much appreciation to you both, Alyssa and Jason. We are listening, but we have two kids! How would that change the formula? I appreciate your advise - Challenge: Wife and I rather be where you are or similar, but kids need school and are attracted to what city offers. Should one sacrifice the dream for the sake of kids or sacrifice the kids' joy for the dream?
Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words! It’s definitely tougher with kiddos, and I don’t want to speak out of turn, but I think it’s definitely still doable. I wish I could give specific advice, but I don’t feel super qualified. I will say that I’ve heard stories and podcasts of folks who go through a brief period of sacrifice (a few years) with their kids in order to set up a better future for them, and I think there’s probably a way to do it without the kids even really noticing or feeling deprived… heck, maybe watching you sacrifice temporarily for a better future will teach your kids some super valuable life lessons for their own future 😊🤷🏻♂️ Regardless, consistent small steps in the direction you want to go will yield big results sooner than you think! The main thing for us has been resisting the urge to be like our peers. God bless you and your family! -Jason
I totally agree. I think some people actually enjoy the rat race. But our hope is that we can encourage folks who don’t like that lifestyle to start taking steps toward a simpler life. We certainly don’t know everything, and we’ve been SO BLESSED on our journey, so I hope we don’t come across like we think we’re better than anyone else. 🙏🏼
I wish it worked for me like that. I don't have the debt, but I look and live like I am from Montana, but I live in Southern Louisiana. I have a job in the plants exxonn marathon etc. That's where the money is. I have done that since 19 years old and now almost 50 I don't know what else to do. I was born and raised here but I don't fit in. Being divorced for years I just work go home to my farm and work there. My mom is the only family I have and she is old and dying. One daughter that is grown and lives in another state. No siblings, either. I can be on my farm for months and never see or talk to another human. Just me and the dog. I got rid of the other animals due to divorce and having no time to take care of them by myself. I feel lost as a blind mule in a winter storm as Chris ledoux told me once. 😢
Aw man! I’m really sorry to hear that. It’s tough when your work has you anchored down like that. Since you don’t have any debt, I wonder if you could make a big move and sell your place to live somewhere you’ve always wanted too? Maybe sell your current farm and buy a cheaper place so you could afford a lower paying job and just do something that is fulfilling in a part of the country you would enjoy. Obviously you wouldn’t want to leave your mom right now, and it’s by no means a simple solution, but I hope you’re able to find something that is enriching for your life, when the time is right 🙏🏼
I'm about half way through the video but had a couple of questions how tall are each of you how much did Clyde cost and I'm assuming you were in Idaho at this time so was wondering how much you got for the property in Wyoming you said you had 171k into it but didn't hear the outcome if you don't mind saying ok back to the video which I am liking alot thanks kray
Thanks so much!! We try to not say exactly where we’re from on here (sometimes it slips, but we try to not put it in the comments), but we’re super close to you 😊 my aunt and uncle live in Hailey and we go over there quite a bit!
Alyssa is actually a taxidermist and I worked at an airport as a TSA officer. We didn’t make a ton of money, but once it started snowballing, we gained momentum pretty quickly 😊 I think you’re really onto something though… some people who feel stuck could really benefit from taking to time to build a skill set and getting a higher paying job 😊
The wife and I are ranch care takers in Idaho from Kansas city Mo. Looking for a couple to help us. We like visitors. In the Selway. Contact us if u are interested.😊Brad and Julie
No way! That sounds amazing! 😊 We would be very interested in talking to you guys. I think I might get a lot of spam if I put my email in a comment, but it’s listed in the description of our RUclips channel. I hope we can connect because we would love to hear how you got hooked up with that opportunity 😊 Thanks for reaching out! -Jason
Congrats on skipping the big wedding nonsense. I don't know why people feel compelled to waste money on an expensive wedding. Hell, most marriages end up in divorce anyway, right?
Lol unfortunately a lot of them do. We don’t have anything against weddings, but for us it just wasn’t something that was important to us and we didn’t feel spending money on one was worth it in our situation ☺️ thank you for watching!!
Congratulations to you both. This was another inspirational video. Thank you . I fully support your efforts and will share your page with some of my friends.. I wanted to reach out and share a couple things but don’t do IG anymore. Do you have an email you can share? All the best

That’s awesome that you’re getting to spend more time in the mountains with your family! Hopefully you guys make a bunch of amazing memories together! 😊
Keeping up with the Jonses should be a serious highschool class. Being frugal early in life will dertimine your quality of life. Super planning!
Yes!!! 🙌🙌 I’m doing my best to encourage my younger brothers to be frugal and start planning young. The younger you start the easier your financial life will be in your 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s….

We really appreciate it ☺️
@@MTN_BUILT But you learned from your mistakes and have thrived from them. That’s all you can do!
Hello...I've been sorta binge watching your videos. Your content is great. I LOVE that you both are on the same page in life. Prayers for you both!!!
Thank you! We are SO THANKFUL to have each other 😊 Things are so much easier when you have someone to work together with 😊🙏🏼
You did well.
Today clearing debt is a most.
Congratulation to your team work.
Thank you so much! We feel super blessed to be in the position we are now… the hard work is definitely worth it! 😊

Nice to see people being responsible for their debts. Seems like so many are always looking for an easy way out and you did it with the grind. You two are a great example of hard work and discipline to reach some goals. I don't think they can be considered long term goals since you two are still so young ;) and have a great future ahead.

@@MTN_BUILT Yes, my husband and I do this too, and sometimes we can get a free vacation out of it from the accumulated points.
@@Jennifer35678 yeah we got the fidelity card. It’s nice because the cash back goes into our retirement account, and we have it so it gets paid off before any interest is ever accumulated. We just use it for bills we would be paying out of a bank account anyways.

Great story guys. Helpful information as well. I believe your channel will do well. You set goals and execute. Good luck

The house still sold with 3.5 acres as well 🙂
They do! Except when we put them in a small pen together. Clyde and Timber will kick at the others. But in a decent size pen and in general, they all get along really well ☺️ thank you again for watching!!! ❤️

All sorts, TSA at an airport, personal trainer, taxidermy, running a butcher shop, and side hustles of some of the above while working full time. ☺️

😬 But hopefully the perfect place will come along for you guys 🙏🏼

I will say that I’ve heard stories and podcasts of folks who go through a brief period of sacrifice (a few years) with their kids in order to set up a better future for them, and I think there’s probably a way to do it without the kids even really noticing or feeling deprived… heck, maybe watching you sacrifice temporarily for a better future will teach your kids some super valuable life lessons for their own future 😊🤷🏻♂️
Regardless, consistent small steps in the direction you want to go will yield big results sooner than you think! The main thing for us has been resisting the urge to be like our peers.
God bless you and your family!
-Jason
Mostly be kind and understanding to everyone because to a lot of people life is a rat race.

Haha! Thank you so much! We are super thankful we found each other! A good spouse is such a blessing!! 😊🙏🏼
Also what kind of jobs did you do that's a long commute for both of you
I (Jason) actually worked for TSA at the Jackson Hole airport. Not glamorous at all, but it was a great job for me!
Zeese! Its usually the one that's high maintenance.
Obviously you wouldn’t want to leave your mom right now, and it’s by no means a simple solution, but I hope you’re able to find something that is enriching for your life, when the time is right 🙏🏼
Yes, I've been thinking the same thing. Great views. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
@@christopherbennett4559 we’ll say an extra prayer that things will work out for you! God bless you as well 😊

Thanks so much!! We try to not say exactly where we’re from on here (sometimes it slips, but we try to not put it in the comments), but we’re super close to you 😊 my aunt and uncle live in Hailey and we go over there quite a bit!
@@MTN_BUILT Cool, I figured you were in the area, been here 35yrs, boy has the area changed.
Oh man, I can only imagine! We used to live near Jackson, and I’m thankful Sun Valley hasn’t turned into that yet!
What jobs were you doing to get yourselves out of debt? Did you need to invest in any new skills?
Alyssa is actually a taxidermist and I worked at an airport as a TSA officer. We didn’t make a ton of money, but once it started snowballing, we gained momentum pretty quickly 😊
I think you’re really onto something though… some people who feel stuck could really benefit from taking to time to build a skill set and getting a higher paying job 😊
Hold her hand dummy ❤😢😂
😅
Not sure if children are part of your plans. But if they are they will be gorgeous!! Just saying.....
Haha thank you! 😂☺️
I hope we can connect because we would love to hear how you got hooked up with that opportunity 😊
Thanks for reaching out!

Yeah You could go back to college....
Congratulations to you both. This was another inspirational video. Thank you .
I fully support your efforts and will share your page with some of my friends..
I wanted to reach out and share a couple things but don’t do IG anymore. Do you have an email you can share?
All the best
