There isn't much available for e28 anymore
This was under £500 which is a great price
Sound is nice with out being too loud, no drone on motorway or anywhere in rev range
Very nice sound!!! Deep and bassy. You almost can't hear it on idle. Exactly what a 525e needs. I think you need valve adjustment though. The engine is clicking a lot. Do you have more pictures of the car with this exhaust (underside)? I am considering fitting this to my car but I don't like the shape of the rear muffler. I would appreciate if you can email me some pictures of how it looks. Thanks!

Hi, unfortunately I don't remember this set up, i never liked it as they was too stretched, they came with the wheels at the time
I usually run 245/40 on a 17 inch wheel if 9-9.5J rear and offset around 19-20 on rear
If offset is around 25 then you'll get a 255/40 tyre too

My E28 525i also has that Simons exhaust.
does the kit just bolt straight on with no issues or does it require some work??

It just bolts on, you have to take your time to align it but that’s it basically.
I have a 525e too and want to order this exhaust. But on the site they dont mention the 525e. Just 520, 525 and 528... Did you order that one?
