2 years later and I’m revisiting the original video that introduced me to Ryan’s channel. You bought me a couple summers with the breakdown video and sea foam tip, but I’ve gotta replace the carb for real now ha.
Great guy and a servant of the Lord. I actually need to get with you about an idea I had for “first fruits” and feeding the homeless from them. I’ve always taken what I needed first and given away all the surplus I plant. What if, like Able, we were to give our literal first fruits to those Jesus commands for us to care for. For you fed me when you fed the least of these…just some food for thought.

I have the same tiller, never took it apart and your video saved me time, no start in spring but a good gas change and spraying carb cleaner inside the carb and it now runs like new, it use to also run on the choke like yours as well an stall whenever it ran over 10 minutes and backfire whenever it was shut off. Thanks!!

Awesome, thanks for the video. I have the same tiller and a similar issue, I have to run at 1/2 choke. I am going to try to adjust the air/fuel ratio today.

Like your video. Good help. I have an extra problem. When I took mine apart I found a wire that the mice got too. I fixed it, but have no idea where it goes. It looks like a fuse line & has a connector ring at the end. Do you know where this attaches? Thanks you

I’m not sure, I know there’s that one thing that looks like a big fuse under the air filter box lid but I’m not sure about any of that exactly but I’ll try to remember and look at it and see how it’s done on mine and let you know!! Also you’re enter into the April 15th drawing for free Giant seeds and fertilizer, your number is 69! See the other video “WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER, how to win the April 15th drawing” on how to get more numbers if you’d like to!! Thank you again!

Hi, I have the same issue currently. I have the same tiller, / engine and I have to keep the choke about mid point to keep it running smoothly. I put a half a can of seafoam in there today and filled it with 90 non ethanol gas. Hopefully it clears it up. Where did you buy a new carb at? If you bought it online, can you post a link? Also, thank you for making this video. I like to tinker, Its nice to have a video to reference and watch before I start tearing stuff apart !

I’m so glad it’s helped you!! I like tinkering as well!! I went to get the link to the exact one I had purchased on Amazon but it’s not available now but I did find one that looks identical to it also on Amazon Carburetor for Cub Cadet 12A-18MC056 CC500 CC550SP SC300HW 11A-18MC056 12ABB22J709 19" 173cc Self-Propelled Lawn Mower w/ Gasket Fuel Hose Fuel Filter www.amazon.com/dp/B093CZ17D3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CNTH6D5X29RGKFF78ACX I can’t speak on how this one will function but it’s identical to the one I bought last year but $10 cheaper. The others I seen didn’t look like the one I purchased that’s why I picked this one to send to you! Hope this helps you out!! Thank you again!! Also if you’re not subscribed we’d love to have you!! We do monthly drawings for free seeds and fertilizer!! There’s videos posted on how to enter and the rules! 😊😊

@@heavenlyhillshomestead9465 Thanks. I used the Seafoam and it was still running rough.. The choke would have to be moved around from time time time to keep it running. I ordered a new carb, and after letting the machine sit for a week, with the seafoam in the gas and some through the system, I fired it and its running like a champ. Throttle and choke both work as they should and the machine didn't cut out even once. I was quite impressed at the results a week later. So, now I have an extra carb, thats' ok. Seafoam has gone into in all my gas guzzlers !

@@davidroth5889 you’re welcome!!! I’m glad the seafoam ended up working for you! I kept my old carburetor just in case I ever needed it 😂 it ran, although it was a little rough it still ran and got the job done so I kept it. Seafoam is a really good cleaner and seems to do great in things that sit for long periods of time like generators. Thank you for updating us on what your experience was, it helps us out a lot!!
