Namshkar friends! We are temporarily shifting to another house today. So, won't be able to reply to your comments as shifting work is going. Will try to reply as soon as I settle down in new home. Soon new series will be starting from the rented home. Stay tuned for some really interesting topics. Also, do comment and let me know if you would like me to make some specific renter friendly videos.
Lots of love 💕
Ashu
Thank for posting this vlog. Very informative and good points to remember as I'm planning to build a new house. More vlogs such as this would be surely useful
Suddenly shifting 😊
And also take your time 🤗 and while shifting please take care ❤️
Take care ashu ji
Thanks a lot for your new and effective Ideas.
Don't miss these important points while renovation:
1) Charging points or switches inside the bathroom cabinets for charging electric shavers and epilators.
2) Switch board adjacent to bathroom mirror for using electric shavers and hair dryers.
3) Place the Tumble Dryer over the washing machine thus making the use of the vertical space.
Now Wahser+Dryer also available in market
@@pareshkshirsagar8173 Yes I know. But she already has separate washer and dryer.
Thanks for the idea of switch boards inside the cabinets of bathroom. Lots of love from Delhi (India).
Is it ok and safe to keep the dryer above the washer? Or do we mount on ledges to protect the washer ?
@@geethasrikrishnan484 Although the companies don't recommend keeping two electronic appliances one over the other. But I have seen 80% of the Americans doing that.
However we can make a wooden slab or a concrete slab or a granite Slab in between the two appliances.
This will make max utilization of the vertical space and we will get enough space on the floor.
I am also planning to make a provision to keep my front load washer over my Dishwasher in the utility area.
This provision will also make easier to pull out clothes from the washing machine specially for the lazy person like me.
Howsoever good the planning , One has to live in the house to realise the shortcomings. Minor works are ok but thought 4 yrs was too short for major repairs. But like it is said every challenge is also an opportunity . So all the best.
Good video . However regarding storage space . I feel the house needs to breathe and creating more storage increases the junk accumulated in the house and makes the house look all boxy and suffocated .
How true.. today, Minimalism is the mantra.
Agree
Good video with lots of interesting ideas. However having too much storage might just not be a good idea down the road. Less is more. Use everything that you have and you need no storage for extras.
She is a minimalist, maximizing storage in little space. This is the minimum stuff required in a regular Indian household. It can't be less than this, no chance.
Nice tips Ashuji, we learn only after we shift to the house and stay there, we also did lot's of changes in our rented flat after shifting there.
This video is absolutely useful for everyone who plans to construct their home 🏡 ❤

In wardrobes even for regular clothes, one should have pullout shelves, instead of traditional shelves....makes it easy to access clothes stacked behind.

Inspite of best planning in my house n looking at everyone's needs, We still cud hv done better too especially d Concealed Switches r a big No. It becomes so difficult to manage on day to basis & Concealed Wiring n switches can also b a Fire Hazard which We hv Experienced twice in my Home! Our Families Shud focus on d Need of d Housekeeper since She/He is d Main person Who spends time at Home & it shud b Functional as per Her Needs n Comfort especially We hv Learnt A Few Lessons in our Lockdown Period I Hope!!

That sofa cover is lovely... Where did u get it ma'am... Please share
Wow nice video.. Very uselful
Superb as usual ❤️🌺
Hey loved your sofa covers. Where did you get them from?
Hi dear I like ur videos and got many ideas from your video before doing the interior in our new home. I am also in Bangalore. As you said plugging point is very important. In a flat there will be limited plug point and switches like many things. We have done one side of the balcony a small wardrobe to keep cleaning tools and also for etc items. Thanks a lot 👍
Wow great 👍 Also put a switch board in balcony to light it during Diwali. It will be very convenient.
Lots of love n smiles 👌❤️🐾
Hi ashu good morning, hi this is the perfect topic that we find some changes in home after we stays for 2 years... I have same situation like you but it will take time to renovate....I love this ideas... nice content n topic... love you...thanks for sharing
Hi dear, thank u for this video.i am looking for bed can u plz help me on selecting the right one.
single bed with under drawer bed are also a good idea.
Very informative video. Appreciate your honesty. Thanks so much. Have learnt so much from you.
I am yr new subsciber but am trying to see yr old videos. In one U had suggested clear work space on both sides of kitchen stove . Yes. But your present kitchen does not seem to have. Even if u are not washing dishes in the round sink . For aesthetics sink and stove could havs besn slightly apart I think The cook top could have been on the counter top facing the window. Th at way u will optimally utilize that counter ,avoid twisting your waist 😊😊and also not have your back towards the dining. Do consider if planning kitchen renovation.buf ok if u r ok wifh it. And it may require major work
Then how would she placed chimney over window??
I like your videos. Love you Ashuji.
Hello I'm your great fan.... Following you for years... Please do share the link for the sofa covers
