This year marked the first anniversary of my attendance at your concert in Raleigh, North Carolina. I had an incredible time. Before leaving for the concert, I repeatedly exclaimed my excitement. My older sister and I even had a conversation in the restroom, saying, "I swear to God, if they sing Hallelujah, I will cry." Hallelujah is my all-time favorite song cover by Pentatonix. My sister and I were thrilled and having a great time during the concert. After the last song, everything went dark, and I was confused since it was my first concert. However, when I heard Scott begin singing Hallelujah, my eyes widened, and I covered my mouth, becoming emotional. I was overjoyed to hear my favorite song performed live. If I were to create a top five or top ten list of my favorite Pentatonix songs, Hallelujah would undoubtedly hold the top spot. I adore that song, and it never ceases to captivate me. I am and will always be a devoted Pentaholic.
Three days late, my first listen to this video. Can I appreciate Scott doing bass, Kevin stepping in as a harmonic tenor when Scott's doing other parts, the executions falsettos in the video, and the amount of talent these guys have?

Like the ending especially - Scott going higher, while Mitch singing lower than usual (for this song I mean), and each person's voice was just beautifully woven together. I'm always amazed at Scott's vocal range... The part where he does bass voice and then in another part of the song he sings high pitched, it's incredible.
You should go watch where they began - a show called "sing off" from like 10 years ago! Then watch their evolution of music and some of their other earlier ones. They've grown so much since then but their humble beginnings were good too 😍😍

Epic performance as always, everyone. Brought a tear to my eye as always. Also, love Mitch’s Freddie Mercury mustache.
I love that Matt changed his part a little in comparison to how Avi sung it, I call it "Hallelujah (Matt's version)"
Three days late, my first listen to this video.
Can I appreciate Scott doing bass, Kevin stepping in as a harmonic tenor when Scott's doing other parts, the executions falsettos in the video, and the amount of talent these guys have?
Their voices are all beautiful but Mitch's voice gives me chills 😍
Seeing everybody's vocal ranges, hearing Scott hit those low notes and then the high ones, and seeing Matt hit that high one and being the super bass, Kevin's beatboxing and an amazing vocal performance by every single one of y'all is truly amazing. Can't wait to see y'all live for the first time.
I was fortunate enough to see you all perform this live last year and I was smiling ear to ear the entire time ❤
This honestly makes me cry so much because you can see how all of them are so passionate about music and how phenomenal all their voices are and it brings me to tears every time, their music heals my heart and soul, Love Pentatonix always and forever❤
I have listened to this Band for years, and I will continue to ALWAYS. So glad to see them still going strong!!! Now that is a HALLELUJAH for us!!!❤ Thank you God.
I love to see you all so well ... Praise the Lord ! Hallelujah! Love the song... As always "The great Pentatonix"...
Whenever I hear ya'll sing this, it brings tears to my eyes because it touches my heart, so powerful. Thank you for being this awesome.
I love Mitch so much!!!
As do I.
yes but dont forget Christ's kingdom. Homosexuality and gay activities is the work of the devil in these last days. I know pentatonix feels this guilt and others do but Christ is still calling us. lets return to the loving creator
@@JSmithNova I'm gay too, dude, but thanks for your input lmao
@@breakthebeakerproductions5020 The Lord really needs ur soul by brother. being gay is satisfaction of the body. but this is a sin, a destruction of human life so let us not fall into destruction. Christ loves you.
@@JSmithNova Yeah, okay buddy
I walked down the aisle on my wedding day to your version of this song! Every time I hear you all perform it brings up amazing memories. Thank you for making my wedding day and every year after special!
Phenomenal performance as always from all five, but Matt and Scott really showcased their vocal range on the rendition. You guys are beyond good.
Wow I really like this new version, I love stylistic choices that differ from the first video. Like the ending especially - Scott going higher, while Mitch singing lower than usual (for this song I mean), and each person's voice was just beautifully woven together. And Matt's rendition was amazing and he really made it his own, that high note caught me off guard in a good way. Kirstie's voice was angelic but powerful as always, and Kevin's insane skills never fails to impress me. And I love that you can really feel all the emotion being poured into their singing. Thanks for sharing guys, have a great day everyone
OMG! What an ending!! Absolutely.... I can´t find the words.... Thank you.
These PTX lives continue to be some of the most authentically playful and nimble singing around
Scott has taken us to a never level with this version! Their original version will always be my favorite but this is outstanding! They are growing, maturing and always getting better!🫶🏻♥️🫶🏻😎
I remember seeing them live a few years ago and thinking beforehand there's no way they sound as good in person, but they were somehow EVEN BETTER?!? Incredible performers on top of singers
Those who are royalty never lose their majesty. Even after years they remain the same. Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️😍😍😍😍😍🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
SIGNATURE SONG FROM PENTATONIX IS MY FAAAV! ❤ ❤ COME BACK HERE IN THE PHILIPPINESSS! 🇵🇭✨
It is unreal how much vocal control y’all have. So beautiful ❤
Nobody does it better. Pentatonix still at the top of their game. Love you guys!
Nobody does this song more justice than PTX. Every version they have done is just stunning. Scott took me to church there at the end.
😂👍
I'm so happy that these guys are all still together... Making the most of what works as a team. 😍
I love these people so much, and I’ve seen them in concert twice.
Each time my self harm flares up, I listen to a couple particular songs that calm me down for the moment. Someday it may no longer work, but it does today. 🖤
Wow!! Matt-so nice to hear your version, awesome beautiful voice and range. Props to Kevin- awesome to be able to actually see you keeping the beat, love this angle. We always hear/feel you but don't always see you. Kristin and Mitch- voices of angels, I could listen to you both all day long. Scott-love this new version. You are so into it!! Perfect rendition, thanks for sharing guys! 🎉🎉
Really love how Matt made that verse his own!!! Love you guys so much
I'm always amazed at Scott's vocal range... The part where he does bass voice and then in another part of the song he sings high pitched, it's incredible.
Dang! This still sends chills through me. Hearing them perform in person and experiencing the joy of meeting them was such a profound moment.
Scott's bass notes during Matt's solo tho!
You guys are beyond amazing, the harmony is so unique
Each voice…Perfection. Thank you for sharing your incredible talents.
Anyone here because they have never heard of penatonix before watching meet me next Christmas? What a gift in a gift ❤
You should go watch where they began - a show called "sing off" from like 10 years ago! Then watch their evolution of music and some of their other earlier ones. They've grown so much since then but their humble beginnings were good too 😍😍
@flow3r_grl28 thank you, sounds like a perfect night in with the family :)
WOW WOW WOW…..love this new rendition of that beautiful song. Gives me chills….like Angels singing…..thank you guys!!! ❤👼🤗🥰😍
I get to see you in person for the first time this year. I got tickets for the Dallas show. I wasn’t looking forward to the holidays this year. My spouse went into the hospital last Christmas and died on January 7th. Going to this concert is giving me something to look forward to this holiday season. Thank you.
Love Pentatonix
Thank you. I can’t believe the clarity. I honestly like this better than the studio version.
Pentatonix version of Hallelujah always gives me goosebumps IT'S REALLY THAT SONG🔥 BRILLIANT GUYS YOU ALL ARE AMAZING!!
Still one of my favorite songs of all time, and that ending, wow! Amazing job everyone!!!
All I can say is WOW!!! 👌 I have never heard Pentatonic sing anything without doing an absolutely superlative job, and this just blew me away.
For some reason my faveourote part are Mitch's Halleluhljahas in the end in his lower range, they hit me in the feels
Absolutely beautiful and probably the best acapela group I've ever heard in my life! ❤❤
I've been listening to you guys for the past 10 years and it is still not enough for me I want moooore. You'all are incredible
