'02 Porsche 996 Twin Turbo Track Car Build Phase 1 | What to do with your 18,000 mile Porsche

We have a new client that wants Brandon to build a '02 Porsche 996 for the track. Significant upgrades and modifications will include pinning the coolant lines, Ohlins coil overs, 997 cup car brakes, 2 piece rotors, solid suspension bushings, rollbar and much more. This is the initial phase of build so the owner can take it to the track. There will be more in another video in the future.

Following this because the algorithm worked. I bought a stock 996 turbo 8 years ago with the hope of keeping it mostly-stock, but also ready for any impromptu autox or track day. Welded coolant lines, some GT2 parts, 1 bar tune. I am still having trouble making the braking endless. Went to RBF700 last service to see if I can get through a few minutes of autox without cooking the fluid.

I assume he's doing full GT3 front uprights (convert to RWD) with a LSD in the rear?

No when we go RWD we will keep the same fronts. To get an LSD we’d have to swap to a manual gearbox.
