A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given from heaven. I’m talking to Mark but I’m thanking God. I’m thanking God that He has given AGW this to relay to those who struggle with this subject instead of leaving us to figure it out. All knowledge and wisdom comes from Him. There is nothing that we have that isn’t given to us from God.
I think the best example is pornography... like it was said if you engage in watching pornography you might hurt your spouse, but also you are encouraging the pornography industries so your sin might be secret, but the society as a whole is hurt by people having pornography as something that is "normal", and your soul and yourself is getting hurt by it because it pushes you away from God and also all the problems that comes from engaging on this behavior, for example erectile disfunction, anxiety and others and so on
I struggle with overeating. I keep trying to do better but keep failing. I decided to start tracking what I eat and hold myself accountable and so far it’s helping. Asking God to continue to change my heart, I’m so broken over it, it’s lust too, maybe not exactly the same as sexual sin but still.
this is so true.....and private sin destroys entire families. many keep it a secret until it is too late. seek help right away to save your family. what is done in secrecy whether sinning or breaking the law is often discovered by accident. we should live true to our selves because our lives affect others.

I cheated in coursework at university and I feel like I should admit it to the office but that would mean I would get kicked out and my grandparents money spent on my accommodation would be wasted. What should I do? I’m fine with getting kicked out but I don’t know if I would be the only one to bare the consequences as I would be wasting all that money spent on me
This is tricky because you don't want to put your grandparents in an uncomfortable position. I would confess this to my priest, to other believers and ask God for forgiveness and then simply go back and learn the coursework that I cheated on as a penance. You cheated yourself the most by not learning the material but I think it's good that you are listening to your conscience, confessing this online and are considerate of your grandparents. Simply learn from this mistake that cheating is not the right way and that it feels bad to do the wrong thing. May God bless you and help you through this trial.
@@robmarshall956 Thank you for your prayers. I have obviously confessed to God but yes this is about restitution and admitting to cheating to the university directly. This was all before I truly decided to follow Christ. I just want to get right with God but I don’t know if I can accept that other peoples money will be wasted. In a way if I confess I would be stealing from my grandmother who paid alot of money for me. Yet if I don’t confess to the university I will be stealing from others genuine work. If I confess to this then should I also admit to cheating in school before university? At what point do I stop? Either way I’m never cheating again
during the time that you are sinning you cannot be in commune with the Father the Son and the Holy spirit. you cannot be praying and interceding. you cannot be hearing the Holy Spirit ministering to you the things of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit in the way that you would if you were in full attention to God. so even if you lived on an island all by yourself and you were sinning you could not hear God do the Holy Spirit In The Name of Jesus in the way that you would if you were not sinning.
I struggle with the sin of selfishness, Lord please help me as I come into your arms open and vulnerable.
Everything you have, belongs to the LORD, not to you. Because all you have, is given by the LORD. I will be praying for you 💕
Try fasting and praying. Even if it's only by skipping one meal for a day.
Instead of eating, read the bible and pray.

The focus needs to be that you have sinned against God and God only.

That makes absolutely no sense. To say that God rewards sin is absolutely not in gods character.
