When someone is accused of some crime and there are MOUNTAINS of evidence against them and I see the family saying, "Oh no, I don't believe my child/brother/father/whatever would EVER do anything like that", it sort of makes me want to bang my head against the wall. I'm all for loving your family member and wanting to only think the best of them but a bit of realism would be appreciated. One thing I respected so much about Jeffrey Dahmer's father was that he NEVER said, "My son couldn't have done such evil things.", He would say that yes Jeffrey did those things and he just cannot understand why he did them. He never tried to justify what Jeffrey did. I have a lot more respect for him than I do these two women who are all about "Lori couldn't do something like that."

Update: The Sins of Our Mother Documentary points out the mother does come out and state she regrets defending Lori and that she was wrong. She seemed sincere and emotional in her regret.
Actually Lori cut them off from communications. So they may have said past tense because they were shunned by Lori and told they were a danger and not allowed to see the kids or talk to Lori and Chad. So the past tense makes sense if you know that information

Possibly former LDS, but the crazy killer couple describe things that are not done in the temple, such as "Moroni handing the wife to the husband." That's....not part of the temple ordinances at all. The same crazy couple talk about zombies. Zombies are neither canon or a commonly held belief in the church! People not part of the church may think they are part of the church because they list a couple apostles by name or mention getting married at a temple (which seems nigh impossible with their description of ordinances). Update: The Sins of Our Mother Documentary points out the mother does come out and state she regrets defending Lori and that she was wrong. She seemed sincere and emotional in her regret.

Actually Lori cut them off from communications. So they may have said past tense because they were shunned by Lori and told they were a danger and not allowed to see the kids or talk to Lori and Chad.
So the past tense makes sense if you know that information

Crazy to watch this now after Summer's testimony in court. It's pretty clear that she was decieved and wasn't trying to cover it up. Is the family still crazy? Probably. But at least they weren't aware of what actually happened to the kids when this was recorded.

Possibly former LDS, but the crazy killer couple describe things that are not done in the temple, such as "Moroni handing the wife to the husband." That's....not part of the temple ordinances at all. The same crazy couple talk about zombies. Zombies are neither canon or a commonly held belief in the church! People not part of the church may think they are part of the church because they list a couple apostles by name or mention getting married at a temple (which seems nigh impossible with their description of ordinances). There was a report that they believe some people are reptiles, yet another thing that is not LDS.
Just as people have mixed Catholicism with independent ideas or other religions, so too have people mixed other religions/beliefs.
@@Starannify They were attending the LDS temple after the disappearance of the kids. They were LDS. Lori attended the temple a lot. The zombie and Moroni thing are not part of the temple ritual but that is stuff they made up. The temple used to have a ritual pre April of 1990 where members would pantomime slitting their own throat never to reveal what they learned that day. Mormonism is by all definitions a cult.

He didn't question them or provide facts on any of their ludicrous answers. Such as "How do you feel about your new son in law and brother in law categorizing you grandchildren and niece and nephew as zombies? And what do you think about Chad rating the souls of people in his life as light to dark? And don't you find it a little strange that Lori bought her and Chad's wedding rings before Tammy was dead? The list goes on and on but he simply softballed it. Why bother? Nothing to learn here. Nothing to see. Not newsworthy. Complete waste of time.

That was a waste of an interview. Many years ago I had a close friend who ended up leaving an impression on me I still to this day have never seen a bigger liar than her. She lied so much and so often she couldn’t separate fact from fiction. She even faked her own boyfriend’s death and cried about it if that’s any indication. Point is, she always convinced her family that everyone was out to get her. I see striking similarities in the sociopathic behavior of Lori, and my childhood friend. When you see Lori laughing and joking with the police officers after her husband was just shot and killed by her brother, it’s twilight zone. In fact, there’s been a huge injustice here. The cop who interviewed Alex that day was way too soft on him and Lori got away with virtual murder. Chandler PD big time dropped the ball. Lori was seen laughing and joking with the cops and later had a pool party. Does this sound sketchy AF?? Why no justice for Charles? Wedding rings then bought 17 days before Lori’s new husband lost his 49 year old wife. No one has ever held anyone involved in this case accountable.

And a 49 year old woman dying suddenly, peacefully in her sleep when she didn't have any underlying medical conditions...yeah ok and then not even 2 weeks the ground isn't settled he remarries. I hope those kids are alive but if they are they are suffering and I do not think they are. I hope this doomsday couple suffers some real doom for days!!
And her sister was seen at the house the day Charles was murdered at a pool party by the landlord. "Hey kid's do you want to go to Aunt Lori's house for a pool party? Uncle Charles won't be there your uncle Alex shot him and he died. When we get there stay out of the living room. Lori may not have had a chance to clean up the blood because she was making treats for the party."

Exactly her ex husbands death probably would have been a closed case of self defense and her new husbands late wife would have stayed a natural cause for death but she put all this light on herself when her kids went missing and refusing to prove they are alive and well has only made it worse now they are looking into connections to her brothers death and the shot that meant to kill her nieces ex husband like woman just show the kids or give the location of their bodies so this can all be over for everyone

She answers that she has INDEED spoken to her sister, but that she has not inquired about the 2 missing children. WOULDN’T THAT BE THE FIRST QUESTION YOU’D ASK SOMEONE WHEN THEIR KIDS GO MISSING?!
