People that are asking how he/she has created these tracks and changed the sequences to create the full song.... Pretty easy, simply save each 4 bar sequence (each part of the song) as a favourite, making sure each time the favourites are in order of song part i.e. beginning, middle, end etc.... Basically one song is saved in several parts (favourites) as apposed to ONE 4 bar sequence. No different to how you would arrange a song on any other keyboard to be honest!! Hope that kinda makes sense lol
Love this very much!!! Nice beat and melody of DM songs. DM band is nothing but the best!!! Their music is out of this world. They’re are perfect in everything, music, lyrics, and performance. Love Dave singing and dancing😘 This melody sounds so....awesome want to go dancing but we have to remain safe due to Coronavirus:(
Just got the system 8 now I need an Xi. I was gonna get the Xa but whatever. Xi seems to have the same sound minus an oscillator or two. Fantastic videos man
I don't know how often I listened to your vids already and I don't know why i never commented. Well, here it is.. :) Love your stuff man. I use my JDxi for ambient mostly. Love the old school DM sound. I was their biggest fan, up to the violator, then I lost interest. keep em coming :)
Great job mate! DM should be happy for this nice cover as well!BTW, I've made some track covers of DM with the jdxi and actually it sounds too close to the original stuff! Keep going!
If you are willing to dive into the menu a little and shape the sound for yourself, I would definitely recommend it. What your hearing right here, are sounds with no effects added. If you tweak the sounds just a little bit and add some effects, this thing can sound really good with about half or more of the sounds. You can even get more sounds downloaded right into the jd xi, but I couldn't find out how to do it, I'm new with computers. This thing is definitely worth the 500, if not more because of all the great drum kits you get. That's a whole other story with what you can do. I have made alot of professional sounding tracks on this, even though it does kind of look toy like. I have come to love and cherish this thing and I hope you maybe will too. Just my opinion and advice.
How do you move from a program to jump from bank to bank like that? I'm still learning and currently stuck on the four bar limit. Any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks and great job
How do you layer like this, utilizing the whole right side button area (forgot the name)?? I definitely want to create with a longer flow. I get so sick of the repetition I play with, even when I've changed the measures/ scale.. I think this would be part of the solution, with what you're doing EQ404Hz. I don't own one yet. But i'm planning on it soon!
Saw a second hand Jupiter 50 for $1099 AUD and wondered how many of the sounds can be replicated with this keyboard. My Juno does a fairly good job of it. Also what did you use to record this? The kick drum sounds really phat. Phatter than any of the kits inside the Juno.
For some reason whenever I activate the arpeggiator on this synth, it sounds like its panning or something (kind of an ebb and flow type of sound). Is there some setting I can change to make it a regular flat arp sound?
The first one is like some Terminator stuff. If you apply some effects, it would be much better. That's my problem with this thing, is that there is only global effects. That really sucks, because I think of some really nice stuff on here, but than can't apply the right effects or a different one than what I'm already using. Best to you

Nice work sir. Or Madam. I don't know. But you've nailed it. As this proves, it is the player, not the machine.
Like the bass I caught this morning, I failed to document the sickest jam I jus had with you and my psr-11!!!
Fantastic. 😍

WELL DONE!!! 😉👍👏
On a droit à Martin Gore pour "See you" et à Vince Clarke pour "Photographic". Tous les deux sont talentueux pour écrire et composer.
Bright light......Dark room....
Brilliant :-)

Nice.

Q maravilla
Are there any tutorials as to how you were able to save the various sequences in those banks?
Kickass
super
I wish they'd have made these in 1985.
Can you imagine how much they'd cost now if they had?
I had a Juno 106 back in 1985 ..... still got it, plus a Juno Di, and a JD-Xi

Programming the synth sounds of 1980s. Good.... /.
Which bass/drums did you use for photgraphic?
