Thanks a lot because I've completly skept Brought Back card. Now I've to figure which card I need to remove to put 4 of theses because it's INSANE in Enigmatic Incarnation deck.

Hehehe you are defiantly not the only one, I have been playing pretty much this exact deck in paper exact in BO3 it’s not as good. Crushes game 1 though game 2 if they don’t sideboard their toast coz my sideboard is a load of removal and control stuff!
Brought back is such a cool little tool that when used correctly in its niche, has a huge impact.
The deck without the shocklands and the Fabled Passages is around $40-45 in paper if anyone was wondering. It's really budget, though the Fabled Passages are nice to provide a bit of ramp. You could substitute for Terramorphic Expanse or Evolving Wilds (I think E.W. is in standard right now if you want to keep it a standard deck). :)
I personally don't need mine to be standard legal, so I'm ordering some Isolated Chapels to help the mana base out and including lifegain duals. It's a bit of a slower mana base, but it leaves it at just over $50 (at least at this very moment optimized on TCGPlayer).
The difference a playset of Marsh Flats is going to have in such a deck can't be overstated, it's a shame they cost so much! Esper Panorama and Evolving Wilds functionally cost mana for you to use, making Brought Back much more expensive than it is. Flood Plain and Grasslands might be a bit better than your typical budget fetches here.

The shocks having two basic land types is a reason *those* are so expensive, but the checks are a more budget alternative depending on how much the colors you need are played (i.e. Glacial Fortress is about twice the price as Clifftop Retreat)
The dual cycling lands are amazing and I can't wait for the enemy colored cycle of them
I really like this format! The idea to build a deck around a card, that would otherwise not get much attention,and make it work is great. It also shows the advantage of the digital game, where it's way easier to just build a deck and then try it it.

You should activate Castle Locthwain on your upkeep of you can. That way you lose one less life than you would if you activate it after your draw step.
Atlantic that’s a good thing to do in a deck filled with cheap spells. Once you start having 4+ mana spells in your deck, and sorcery speed draw spells, you wanna take your draw having as much mana as possible. This is just so you don’t get stuck with Elspeth Conquers Death or Doom Foretold in hand, with 3 mana, and end up paying 2 life for a card you can’t cast. Plus, what if on upkeep, you were empty handed, and you activated castle, and drew treacherous blessing? You’d pay 3 mana, lose 1 life, to draw another 3 mana life draining, sorcery-speed, card draw spell. Not trying to pick a fight, I just think this deck should probably use castle really conservatively.

The instance I'm particularly talking about comes from one of his later games where he had around 10 Mana or so. I agree that this is not a tactic for every situation because having Mana open for important spells is far better than saving one point of life for a card draw.
This deck is amazingly fun. Nothing more demoralizing than to pop off your Doom Foretold on your opponent, then bring it right back with Brought Back. So many instant concedes :)
First game with Bant - you can double block cavalier with golems and afterwards bring back ECD and Passage to remove 2nd cavalier. That enables combat mode of starfield mystic. Great deck though!

Elspeth the Deputy, next turn Doom, next turn sacrifice Oath of Kaya and Elspeth from its trigger and use brought back.
This gets your Archon on board, which would be bounced with Teferi. And if they chose to take the doom then you get Pegasus tokens from Elspeth returning with brought back.
I never figured out why the border does that. I play the esper dance/trawler version of the deck still and the edge shimmers for me too.
This is one of my favorite decks you have crafted lately. Love giving Doom acceleration from Mystic and the brought back is just a nice way to surprise the opponent. Well crafted CGB

Yeah they definitely wimped out a little too early. Maybe their hand didn't look good and/or they were still salty for throwing away their Dream Trawler.

Even though I watch pretty much all of your videos, I haven't played much magic the last few month myself. This deck made me want to start up my arena client though, it's a nice one! I already have many of the rares, so I should be able to build something similar.

Ah, I wondered why today I suddenly saw a rash of Doom Foretold decks. Now I know who to blame! Heh! Seriously though it's a fun deck and it inspires me to want to use the copies I have had sitting in a binder for a while. Damn it my wallet is about to take another pounding.

I just realized, I played against this deck a few days ago. I was doing great. Got it down to 2 lp and I had 45. Then it all went down from there when the combo struck...
I played this deck 6 times in a row, didn't draw a single Doom Foretold. It really struggles to win without it.

The border may be signifying the reduced cost from the mystic? My guess anyway.
I have doomforetold on a dance of the mance deck without the starfield mystic and it still glows all the time. In my hand and on the battlefield, even the graveyard and exile

I think it's just a bug for "sacrifice" effect. All things (mostly tokens) that have "exile/sac at the end of your turn" has smoky border.
This is such a cool concept. I already imagine great things with ramping into ethereal absolutions with this :P
For what exactly would you want Ethereal Absolution?

Any tips for a new MTG arena player on how to get more wildcards faster, especially rare and mythic? Opening packs with the gold you earn is not a very viable option imo, there has to be a better way.
depends how good you are in constructed, but you can play the standard or the traditional standard event, especially the latter gives you decent rewards even with a mediocre winrate
Haven't played any events yet, only standard games, but my main dimir control deck should be good enough for events by now. Gonna try them out, badly need more cards asap.

Yes, the evergreen "Standard Event" is the best value for your gold, especially for consistent 3+ wins. After that, enter the draft mode. Its entry is quite costly (2k), but you get massive amount of cards and gems is on the stake as progression wins. Plus, draft mode is on different ranked from BO1 or BO3. The end-of-season rank reward helps a long way.
Thanks for the tips, but what draft mode are you talking about. I couldn't find any with a 2k gold entry fee, only traditional theros draft for 1500 gems or ranked draft for 5k gold or 750 gems.

Don't pick the traditional one (or any mode with "traditional" in it) if you're new to magic. Traditional plays is BO3 and involves sideboarding, cards you set aside to swap them in-between rounds.

@Double Thomas Just because it's FNM doesn't mean anything. The answer is the same for shops, garages, hotels - everything. Whenever you can go out in public again is when you can play FNM again. Also, if you don't know when - why would CGB? If fact nobody knows - not local game stores or even WotC, so the best source is your countries government and experts.
