Navy busting out all of the dope moves at 6:45! Navy wins this one again (from a musician's standpoint) in my opinion for as long as Army keeps on bringing high school cadences to a drum battle. Nonetheless they both seem like they're having great fun and the progress they both had these the past 3 years is incredible.
Props to the Midshipmen for always being so technically sound. For my money though, I gotta go with my fellow soldiers! The swagger from West Point is always so damn entertaining.
Colder than the Klondike, snow bouncing off the drumheads, I think it was frigging awesome. Makes me proud to be a Navy Veteran. Anchors Aweigh my shipmates!!!!!
I've been enjoying these battles for years and it's only gotten better, with the capturing of the events and the actual battles! But one thing I can't get my mind off of is "What are they saying during Squid?"
holy shit, now they really fucking changed this year, last year was ehhh...but now they add some grovin. i think this is the first time i actually enjoyed a drumline battle between army and navy.
This was an awesome game to experience, I'm sad that I missed the drumline battle! Sorry about your mic, but thanks for all of the awesome videos leading up to the game!
Would have been sick to have 2 (even 3 cameras) there!!!!! Cut to other angles on the cracks/beats of the drums. #nextyear ;-) Amazing work as always Austin. Sing Second was amazing work. That opening shot of the church. Bafflingly steady.
SnareMan the pdrummers hights are various and thus the harnesses for the snares need to a adjusted properly, for a comfortable fit. It's hard to play and March his your drum was too high or low on you.
TheKillerMace yes. I see they are different Heights. During my drum corps days everyone just met in the middle at a happy medium. It kind of sucked for the really tall and really short guys but you just dealt with it
Actually that step out (probably what you were referencing, unless I missed something - Unless you were talking about the actual moving which I've never seen Army do it) has always been seen from the Navy side in the past. For example: 2016 - ruclips.net/video/v31w6AVVI6Y/видео.htmlm47s 2014 - ruclips.net/video/KTnO8PQ4ZcQ/видео.htmlm38s
It's hilarious that Navy comes in dress every year but Army comes in something that is completely out of code every single year and Navy never catches one. Annapolis, we don't alloy Raybands and the shit they are wearing, Army side, in the full time Army. Maybe read AR 670-1 then maybe your skill has a chance.
TYLERRR. If you see this comment bud, I miss you. It’s so awesome to see you still drumming after high school.
Navy always brining out something new in each of these videoe
Your video skills, & the army’s drum line=perfection
Drum line was great. Video skills could use some work. Like just staying still for a bit. Constantly moving is bad.

Yeah Tyler hit em with the circle at 5:19! Glad to see you kept drumming after high school!

holy shit, now they really fucking changed this year, last year was ehhh...but now they add some grovin. i think this is the first time i actually enjoyed a drumline battle between army and navy.

Believe me, I wish I had a crew as well! Even just an audio guy! haha and thank you, I appreciate it!
4:42 what a cutie, look at that smile. Took me a few times to notice his neighbor drop a stick he was so sweet
5:19... That's just disrespectful! LOL
_“Great. Yea, it was good.”_
( _”Nno, Nnnoo, more dishes!_ _aaAhHH!”_ )
What is going on with those Army snare drum heights? What ever happened to keeping everyone's drum at the same height. And flat even??
SnareMan 😭😭bib bro

Considering the lead snare was damn near 7 feet tall, it's a bit tough to dress right dress and match heights.
Magnificent young people.
End of the day "One Team, One Fight"
Amazing skills ....
i just love the Navy's carriers tbh
Our Army and Navy's musical skills priceless. A tip, back out a little bit and let the scene come to you.
At 2:07 THE NAVY JUST COPIED ARMY MOVES FROM LAST YEAR! >:3

the navy did that way before the army.
the armys first cadence was Goblin (my highschool drumline plays it)
you can find it on www.freedrumlinemusic.com/sheetmusic/pdfs/goblin.pdf
Army is the best in the world!!!
Definitely Go Navy!! 💪
I want to see them fighting the Marines.
That was awesome!
What time was this? My father and I wanted to see this so bad. Both of us where on drumlines
Navy are so lit 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Adding backing tracks now for the Navy, Sad.
Are foreign tourists allowed to witness such a splendid performance or it's only for the native Americans?
Go to the game. Native Americans are welcome also.
