Mazdaspeed 6 vs Mazdaspeed 3, which is best, the Mazda 6 MPS or Mazda 3 MPS. Which Mazda speed should you buy? What's the difference 3 MPS vs 6 MPS, speed 3 or speed 6
i have a speed6 and love it. i just love awd turbo sedans (and the only other ones with similar price are 2.5l wrx). have just the basic mods (upgrade ic, exhaust and suspention). and over 30tkm on it (125tkm on the car). the biggest problem in germany is the rarity. bumbers and basically every mod costs a fortune (1500 euros unpainted rear bumper). but gonna get it from a daily to a project in the near future.
@@LifeOfTuners just crazy how different the car market is around the world. no jdm in good condition under 10k (us dollar and euros are fairly similar now). but every euro car on every corner. and i don't even start on getting a place/garage to work on the car. and over there?
@@Frisiii ohhh yeah, over here a decent speed is around 15knzd, so 10k USD, it's basically the cheapest turbo manual jdm car, aside from Subarus. It is pretty crazy, it seems that New Zealand is the only country where they are popular. There are a couple good shops for MazdaSpeeds around, but nothing too close
Love the video, I have both a gen 2 speed 3 and 06 speed6 gt and have to say, after I got the speed6 protuned it’s won my heart abbot more than my speed3
I get the whole weight difference thing but I don’t consider 200 pounds to be that much of a weight difference. Btw for this comparison I used the base speed6 vs speed 3 with no luxury options whatsoever
@@LifeOfTuners ok you’re right it’s a 400 pound total difference between a gen one a ms6… I must say though I’ve driven my ms6 and a gen one through some pretty tight corners before and the ms6 seemed more balanced and refined. It just didn’t feel heavy enough to make a significant difference around the right corners
Well a little perspective on how much weight matters. My buddy is 230ibs. I have a speed 6 my buddy has a speed 3. We have basically the same mods but I spank him hands down every time. Unless I have said buddy in the car. Then it’s a legit battle. So it doesn’t sound like much but I promise you every pound counts.
Now what you're gonna do is watch my gen 1 vs gen 2 speed 3 video ruclips.net/video/mcZUoXNN0bA/видео.html

@@LifeOfTuners i looked it up and there are currently 300 speed6 on the road here.
speed3 probably 4digits. so rare but also not wanted.
@@Frisiii that's crazy, over here they're everywhere, one of the more common tuner cars
just bought an 06 speed6 and ive been loving the uploads dawg keep it up
thanks g 😎😎 yr gonna love it
I've got nearly 600 nm at the fly in my Speed 3, the torque from a roll is mad !
Also doesn't wheelspin too bad from a dig with that much torque.
damn bro 😳😳
I always viewed the speed6 as a sexier evo and sti. I love the AWD Sedan 4banger turbo...Can't wait to get my speed6 man.
They are bloody great
4doors 4 bangers are as fun as it gets

Ohhhhh nice
What would you recommend for the speed6 in terms of mods first? I'm gonna have it as my daily and I don't think I'm going to go over 400hp.
@@joogullae3456 personally I'd just do sound and all that first, intake for turbo sounds, resonator/muffler/2nd cat deletes, bov, maybe a hpfp
@@LifeOfTuners thanks man i have a playlist with your videos talking about that stuff haha
@@joogullae3456 ohhhh ahaha cool
The six is obviously superiour for the very simple fact that I own one.
😏
fair enough
For the conditions i have, i always prefer awd. Both nice thou.
Yeah, ngl fwd in rain gets pretty annoying
An all wheel drive mazdaspeed 3 would be the go . Chuck a cx7 diff under one
Personally I'd much prefer the fwd, so much more drama then just putting your foot down and it goes.
But hey my opinion could change ahahaha
no place for the diff to make it a usable hothatch
@@Rastamanjungle u basically need to make a custom underfloor to make it work. just too expensive
@@Rastamanjungle some people have worked it out, but yeah expensive
@@Frisiii or import a JDM Axela with the AWD already. Those had super weak engines though. I'm talking double digits

200kgs not lbs quite a bit compared to a Gen 1

Why do you keep talking about which one is better for a family? Mazdaspeed owners are certified virgins, bruh
