It is however still a Schedule I drug under Federal law, which means that even in the legal states you can actully go to prison for it.
It's due to USA being a Federation and not a Unitary state like mose other countries.
@@Orcawhale1 That's partially incorrect. If the constitution doesn't mention something then policymaking is an express right of the state government. The federal government only has the power to enforce constitutional/congressional law, therefore a citizen of a legal state can't be penalized legally purchasing marijuana.

Panzerwaffen you can get your rights restored, its a long process. Also he can still buy and shoot antique firearms and black powder stuff, but i doubt that FPSMusket would get a lot of views

Panzerwaffen IANAL but i think theres a difference between expunged and having your rights restored. Expunged means you get your record wiped, which means yes he could buy guns. If you get your rights restored, you still have that record but you have documentation saying that you can own firearms/vote.

so in the first raid kyle described was that one of the random checkups they do or was it a criminal charges raid? i feel like the former, because if they were coming in there to arrest him and he grabs an M4 i feel like they would have blasted him. also thats total horseshit that you lose your 4A right because you own NFA items. is that even for transferables or just because he was an 02/07 FFL/SOT? i assume the latter.
Compliant suspect not brandishing and surrounded by armed agents seems unlikely to get you shot. I've seen videos of CCW holders handing their firearm to police when police have requested it on traffic stops too. 'for both of our safety , I want to let you know I'm legally in possession of... ' is a lot difference to 'back off, copper, I have a gun!'

Now if you commit crimes with those guns, the serial number goes back to their name and when the police show up they say "I sold it to some guy, dont know his name or where he lives and no phone number" that dude is going to prison then lmao

Private gun sales are illegal in lots of states, and in the states where they are legal, you have to be a resident of the state to legally buy a gun at a gun show or privately.

@@stevencohen1311 why would it cost so much for his charges? it was weed charges anyways and within the next 10 years things will prob change so people that were given felonies on weed charges get their record cleared or at least aren't considered felons anymore, plus if he really wanted to he could prolly get the distribution charge cleared

At least it’s not like the U.K. where they check you every month and they know where the guns are (they’re in a big massive safe that has an alarm when you open it that goes straight to a firearms/swat team after a few seconds if you don’t do the codes) and if they’re not there, you’re going down! Even if they’re in your house, if they’re not in the safe, you’re fucked!
You also get in a lot of trouble (not prison trouble just the same amount you’d get when phoning the police for no reason) if the firearms team have to come out and it’s a false alarm because the safe (that has a camera and censor on it) is in your pantry (not always there but a lot are) so whenever you go to get some food the alarm (which is silent) goes off and sometimes you forget/take too long to do the code, or perhaps you have more cameras and censors around the house which aren’t near the safe but still send a timer to the alarm and if you don’t immediately go and put the codes in, you’re screwed.
Like there’s a big reason why people here don’t want guns. 1. Is just that we Brits don’t really like them, we don’t have a gun culture here, and 2. It’s a real hassle, shot guns have a separate license to other firearms and just getting those licenses are hard because you have to pass tests that even the Army would struggle at as you have to hit moving targets dead centre and stuff, then the whole safe thing with the cameras is annoying, and the constant inspections etc etc.

You can actually own firearms like an AR 15, AKM, 50. Cal etc if you can prove you have a good reason to own it (which is hard but it is possible) plus have a firearms certificate. Yet you can’t have a semi automatic pistol (not revolvers, you can own those), those are strictly legal, unless you live in Northern Ireland, which is also the only place where you can own a firearm for self defense (because of the IRA and stuff) .

@@Ndnxnsnsn And there’s 66.65 million people who live here, so yeah, half a million. Maybe it’s different where you live, I live in Kent and that’s what my parents had to do in order to get guns. One time, someone in my family went to get a midnight snack, and not an hour later, a firearms team shows up, and nearly shot my mum when they misfired.
We got rid of the guns after my dad passed because after that experience, my mum didn’t want to have anything to do with guns. However, my brothers still have guns but not as many and they have their own place.
@@Ndnxnsnsn This was back in the 80’s or something. My mum got a license because my dad wanted to have guns and hunt but had been to prison. There was a weird loophole (not too sure if it still exists) which then allowed him to get a license because there were guns in the house or something, and yeah, they had to shoot moving targets.
Anyway, the house got raided at 4am or something, after someone tripped the alarm (which is silent btw) and everyone was asleep, and the police shut off the power (because usually the landing light is left on) so it is pitch black. My brother was scared shitless because it was armed men dressed in police who didn’t even address themselves as police at first. They pulled everyone out of bed and lined all of my family up in the hall, and didn’t care that my brother was naked, and that’s when one of their guns accidentally goes off and whizzes past my mums ear, causing her to go dead in that ear. They took my parents to jail and took the guns and they were there for quite awhile until they checked and made sure that the guns were legal, and let them go. We then sued due to them nearly killing my mum in a false raid, and the head police guy was pals with the judge or something because the judge basically kept pushing back the court date until it expired (or whatever the legal term is where it’s been so long they can’t do anything about it or something) so yeah pretty shitty.
That’s not even the only story of my family being fucked over by the police for something that wasn’t our fault. Yet for some reason, I want to join the police? Don’t know how that happened...
@@Ndnxnsnsn Oh, my dad btw, did go to prison for armed robbery because he was a gangster and was in prison with one of the Kray twins. I honestly don’t know why they even let us have guns, or why the loophole allowed my dad to then be allowed to use those guns even though he’s not allowed to use guns for being a criminal, and because he was a criminal with a gun charge.
But yeah, the police were never really a fan of my dad. Most of the stuff is before my time because my dad was the older of my two parents, and lived a crazy life when he was young. And even though he tried staying out of trouble once he got older, the police still had it out for him, even though these were police officers from an entirely different county as we live in Kent and he was from London (which explains the criminal record lmao)

Some actually have QR codes now. Our M4A1s in my reserve unit, they got QR codes for that purpose.
