    10/22's have been made from the late 60's continually. Theres actually a fair amount of them out there full auto. It was part of the reason the ATF got so weird about machine guns it was so easy to do and it was getting really popular especially with the .22's being so cheap. Im sure they are still floating around theres plans to turn various ruger, marlin and savage semi auto .22 into a tiny anti aircraft gun looking things with an option to make them full auto. Every once in a while youll see a pamphlet for one at a gun show or ebay. After the machine gun/Clinton bans some one figured out throwing a crank operated gun(think old school Gatling gun) was a loop hole for the machine gun law. I had one of the crank operated marlins for a bit. Real fun not really usable for anything but making a mess and burning thru .22 ammo.

    I met the Scottish engineer who built a fully auto, stupid rate of fire 22 short machine gun that he then had to hand over to the police..... he was a industrial automation guy who'd bought a lathe and fancied a challenge, he had a huge great hopper on the top you just tipped boxes of rounds into, the vibration of the first few round heading through was enough to start a harmonic that caused the bullets to all line up the right way and drop into the chute/gun. Not something I would have ever thought of! He said its common in small parts sorting 🤷‍♂️
    I'll see if I can find a press article with pics, 22 short was what he used as its commonly used here on farms for pest control

    Ohio has some of the best gun laws. This is what it says for suppressors.
    In Ohio, you can use your silencer for target shooting, home defense, hunting, or any other legal use. So basically anything.

      As in thats a lot or a little to you? That's what something like Hornaday Critical Defense in 9mm cost. It would be considered a premium round. I've bought 1000rnds of .223 for $180 shipped to my door pre pandemic.

      @@HiTheNameIsBj i wasn't aware ammunition was this cheap, i know a single 9mm doesn't have much chance to kill in 1 shot, but that's 20 lives gone for $30, that's the bit that scares me

    • @HiTheNameIsBj
      @HiTheNameIsBj 4 года назад

      @@JAH9495 well, for what its worth, $30 also buys a shit load of molotov cocktails. The Boston marathon kids used their parents pressure cooker. Arianna concert bomber killed 22 people with a homemade bomb packed full of nuts and bolts. Unfortunately people seem to be real creative when it comes to killing each other.

      @@JAH9495 knives/blunt melee weapons as well as cheap and easy to manufacture chemical/explosive devices as well as vehicles which everyone has and are much less precisely targeted weapons; all of which are commonly used criminally in lieu of firearms outside of the U.S. and are just as cheap, lethal, accessible, and overall are worse to be targeted by (especially non-fatally) and in the case of the first I listed those items carry an endless potential for death and dismemberment when in the hands of one intent on causing such until they themselves are neutralized, and you're not allowed to have a firearm to effectively defend from such a threat nor are a lot of your police and even if they were they're not gonna be there in time to save victims of an attack with any of those things already underway. Even in the U.S. police who are all armed will not respond in time to most attacks underway to prevent death and injury to the victims of such, yet you law abiding foreign citizens have to trust that they will defend you from criminals who don't care that they can't get a firearm legally because they're illegally obtainable, the other weapons I mentioned are legally obtainable and easily so because they only become weapons when utilized as such. All of that should scare you infinitely more. As the other commenter said to you, it doesn't matter what one can inflict harm with because they will do so with whatever they can, and firearms are some of the least worrisome choices. Get a grip on how lied to you are to be afraid of a cheap means of saving your own or anyone else's lives from an attacker(s) at range if need be

    It's funny how inaccurate Kyle was about the American 180, the reason it's called the 180 is because it has a 180 round drum, and it can have a 290 round one as well if I remember correctly. Also, the Sten is not shitty. The older ones, were a bit meh purely based on ergos, but they worked well.
