I respected James before but after this interview, I have profound respect for this man. What an incredible human. The wisdom he shared during this podcast is so valuable to me. I'm 41, and have never touched a drink. I got asked a lot when I was younger, "how did you survive," and that always confused me because most people don't drink as kids, and you survived just fine. Life didn't end because I did not drink. I didn't stop socializing, because I did not drink. I was the one able to remember the great time we all had, and had no hangovers and no regrets. I worked with James on Dr Who and he is not only a talented actor but what a nice guy . James spoke about Purity when watching his parents perform. I think this episode is PURITY, authentic and unmasked. Life indeed is circle, one way or the other you come back to the beginning.
Beautiful conversation. James' take on what's important in life is spot on and so refreshing from a celebrity. His parents can be proud of bringing up a grounded being despite the fame xx
I think he’s the most inauthentic person I’ve ever witnessed. Undoubtedly talented but there’s far too many anecdotes about how he treats people behind the scenes to believe this nice guy image he portrays onscreen. Not buying it one bit😊
It’s a beautiful thing to hear a man who loves and values time with his family and parents so much. Man, do we all need to take this to heart. We don’t have 10 more years with loved ones, we may only have 20 visits with them. Paradigm shift for real. No matter what happens next for him, I can’t imagine his decision to move back home won’t be the best choice of his life.

One of the most impressive things about James Cordon is how very much he loves his mum and dad and his sister too they are a great support system for each other.

Wow. This is my first episode of this podcast and I watched because I love James Corden and I miss seeing him! He is so insightful and I was not expecting that. There are several things I will take away and remember. I am so glad he mentioned Cats! Unpopular opinion, but I loved it. I am so glad he talked about his weight because I remember when he did his monologue and I shared it with so many people because it resonated with me so deeply. And when he talked to his son and asked those 3 questions? I cried. This episode has 39 minutes left and I am so glad I clicked on it.

This interview with James, or let's say, James and his statements, were heavenly guided. What a wise and clear view at the game of life. I didn't expect this deep conversation from him. Loved it. That's what people need to hear.
I have had a soft spot for James Corden since I saw him in Fat Friends in 2020 with Ruth Jones, Alison Steadman and Sheridan Smith. I must find a way to watch that again because it's brilliant.

Enjoyed this interview. He focused a bit on choice, which due to his well deserved success affords him choices. What a luxury that the rest of us don't have to such an extent. He's more humble than I expected. He puts his family first so I respect him for that.
I never watched the LLS but was moved by the carpool with Paul McCartney-real and authentic. James is a creator so he needs to create, but oh how lovely it would be to create content with that kind of real energy and frequency that inspires with authenticity at the same time- like in this interview. Weight is never about food or the "steps" but the irritating & painful energetic drivers that are seeking to be soothed, healed and released.
This podcast has made everyone realize that once high profile fame has been diminished We all consume the same emotions, and although unique experiences underline anyone in any position, with self confidence, and within these reflections of the experiences, demonstrates that humility gives comfort to all experiences. Highly relatable to all and very stimulating. Jay Shetty, you're an inspiration. Creativity will forever serve a purpose in which innovation requires logic to enhance our existence. Ps. Curiosity will forever question logic.
It was an absolute delight listening to this interview. James has really inspired me and everything he said is one million percent correct. I was able to look at work and life from a new perspective after hearing the first 5 mins of this. Thanks, James ❤
Me too!!
Beautiful conversation. James' take on what's important in life is spot on and so refreshing from a celebrity. His parents can be proud of bringing up a grounded being despite the fame xx
What a beautiful, beautiful, passionate, emotive soul that speaks so much for the heart. So much to learn from him. Compelling
Get me a bucket. Look up how he treats his staff, guests and common folk and tell me if you feel the same way!
James is so real. What a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for this interview.
I think he’s the most inauthentic person I’ve ever witnessed. Undoubtedly talented but there’s far too many anecdotes about how he treats people behind the scenes to believe this nice guy image he portrays onscreen. Not buying it one bit😊
I miss James so much!!! He's always been so genuine and real.
Wow, this was such a great interview. Whatever went on with James when he left NY, he's come back full circle.
He left LA 😊
It’s a beautiful thing to hear a man who loves and values time with his family and parents so much. Man, do we all need to take this to heart. We don’t have 10 more years with loved ones, we may only have 20 visits with them. Paradigm shift for real. No matter what happens next for him, I can’t imagine his decision to move back home won’t be the best choice of his life.
I am half way through this interview and I actually think it’s one of my favourite, I never knew James Corden was this wise… the way he explains things just have a way of making you go ‘ahhhh’, just brilliant!!! James you have a new fan here 👏🏼👏🏼
Loved James & his show, God bless his future endeavours!
One of the most impressive things about James Cordon is how very much he loves his mum and dad and his sister too they are a great support system for each other.
That was an amazing chat, I really enjoyed listening to James perspective on life. The balloon was such a great visual. And the chat with his son, wow! I have 1 teenager and 1 preteen and I will remember that for next time my kids have a hormonal meltdown!
James, your compassion and ability to make a crowd happy, really saved us from some dark days! You are unique and this interview was helpful.
Thanks for all the fun and inside days. Can’t wait to see more of you!
It's always enlightening to hear a public figure open up about the challenges they face. This humanizes their experiences and I can never stress that enough.
Wow James Corden, what a delight to listen to your journey. It really resonates with where I am in my life at the moment and couldn't have ask for a better podcast to frame my current reality. Thank you for sharing with us all and thank you Jay for facilitating this amazing conversation.
Thankful episode on the podcast of a great reminder to cultivate a life filed with purpose, the art of slowing down, embracing life'so pace, and savoring every moment plus the work life balance. Keep up the good work Jay
Love the joy, alivenesss and passion in how expressive he is. I would listen to him all over.
Jay is such a great interviewer too
Great interview. Loved hearing what James had to say. I'm glad he's back in the UK.
I cried. This episode has 39 minutes left and I am so glad I clicked on it.
absolutely loved this podcast episode, loved seeing james open up to us in a different perspective and a perspective i never thought we’d see the door open too. both yours and james’s conversations on life and things within living has really made me consider the little things in life and it was truly moved me. thankyou for this episode and conversation. thankyou thankyou thankyou !
I completely understand and sympathise with James reasons for not filming more episodes of Gavin & Stacey..however..we can but hope!🤞🏽😄 best tv show ever!
I watch alot of podcasts and this was by far my favourite. What a lovely human being James Gordon is ❤❤❤ xx
You are a sleeper
I stopped watching the Jay show some time ago cause it felt to me like a marketing show for supplements and health gurus. This interview with James, or let's say, James and his statements, were heavenly guided. What a wise and clear view at the game of life. I didn't expect this deep conversation from him. Loved it. That's what people need to hear.
The part about his mum singingbin tge choir touched me enormously ❤
I loved that too.. brought tears to my eyes
I have had a soft spot for James Corden since I saw him in Fat Friends in 2020 with Ruth Jones, Alison Steadman and Sheridan Smith. I must find a way to watch that again because it's brilliant.
29:00 was a really important point to be made that a lot of celebrities are surely aware of but don’t speak on. I think when people step out of roles and away from certain careers perspective is gained and I think that’s interesting to watch / hear about.
I'm in tears along with you. This is the authentic rich life! ❤️
Such a lovely podcast. Thanks James for sharing your experience. And your conversation with your son, it was useful for me, who has a 12 years old daughter.
I don’t remember seeing Jay laugh those many times in any other interview. They were obviously connecting in many levels and it was very enjoyable! 🥰
One of my favorite interviews. So many great takeaways. You are so right - he is a philosopher!
LOVE THIS: "don't just do it, do u really want to do it? Yes? JUST DO IT!"
Wonderful podcast. Cried the whole time. James always touches my heart. His life is a message of love. He is living his journey with success.

James you are an absolute gem. Jay I love your podcasts.. thank you both.. amazing humans
I have truly been inspired by James. His questions are my questions and I suddenly don't feel alone navigating my new life
Discovered this channel 2 weeks back now and I’ve just fallen in love with this community but also the deep conversations that are truly life changing.Ive been watching Jays videos none stop and there’s not one thing that I don’t like or not a fan of.As a teen myself I think I have learned more from these videos than I have during school and I’m grateful for the chance to sit down and just listen to these mature wise people just speak about situations or subjects that you may not talk about on a day to day basis.Huge love and respect for Jays channel and the community ❤
Enjoyed this interview. He focused a bit on choice, which due to his well deserved success affords him choices. What a luxury that the rest of us don't have to such an extent.
He's more humble than I expected. He puts his family first so I respect him for that.
This is such a beautiful conversation of what it is to be human 💛 thank-you for being open and vulnerable.
Get me a bucket. Look up how badly he treats his staff, guests and common folk and tell me if you feel the same way!
What an amazing interview and a great human being! ❤️
This podcast has made everyone realize that once high profile fame has been diminished
We all consume the same emotions, and although unique experiences underline anyone in any position, with self confidence, and within these reflections of the experiences, demonstrates that humility gives comfort to all experiences.
Highly relatable to all and very stimulating.
Jay Shetty, you're an inspiration.
Creativity will forever serve a purpose in which innovation requires logic to enhance our existence.
Ps. Curiosity will forever question logic.
This was one of the most beautiful podcasts I have ever listened!!Walked away with so much…beautiful!!!!❤👏🏻🙏
So much wisdom in this beautiful, brilliant conversation.
I want to cry. The 40s really makes you reflect on life . Its crazy
This was a great interview. James offered so much wisdom. The story about watching his mom sing was so touching.
love this interview , James is so kind hearted you can see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice... love this interview...
It was an absolute delight listening to this interview. James has really inspired me and everything he said is one million percent correct. It’s so important to remember to step back and see the bigger picture, because it’s so easy to get wrapped up in our own little worlds. I’m so grateful I watched this and learned so much.
🙌🏽✨Really, one of the most exceptional conversations!!! Wow! I know for a fact, anyone anywhere will get at least 1 thing (and more) out of this that will help them in life. Thank you James and Jay. Really incredible and I feel the whole episode was so inspiring, motivating and educational! Thank you for your vulnerability and insights🙌🏽✨
The honesty is so awesome. Something that’s lacking in so many places, even in our homes.
James Corden is my favorite celebrity. He is the funniest person. I miss his show. I can relate to all he said. I also retired from my teaching career at an early age. His main reason was the same as mine. To be with our family was that reason. I am a writer like James. This interview is encouraging me to not give up. It’s a God -send.
Awww, I miss the LLS gang. Love this kind of interviews where James doesn't need to be so energetic all the time, just a deep and calm conversation.
Right .. none of us can or should be ON all the time ❣️
I really loved watching James Cordon & miss seeing him! But life is about change & I hope he is happy now in what he is doing. Wishing him the best.
I love what James has to say he is so down to earth
