The full service pump was the side where the attendant would pump your gas, wash your windows, check and top off your fluids. It was more expensive than just paying for gas. The Bundy's were poor so they felt special.

Talking about the bit with Al being home alone: Married with Children never got a proper final episode, somehow had asked Ed O'Neil (Al) how he thinks a proper finale would have gone he said: "The kids have moved out, Peg's dead, Al wins the lottery....and dies the next day."

sitcoms are always great when everyone has a chance to say what they want without ever being talked over. if only we could all live in such a fantasy world where that actually happened.

15:50 back in the old days, men would group the women together in the village so all of them had "it" at the same time, so you don't have to deal with nonsense at random times for every woman during the month, they would also keep them separated from the village in a house so no one had to hear their complaining XD. Man the old days were so much better......
