Raj Kapoor learned to read the letters though his friend, that Raiendra Kumar used to send him, pretending that it is from Radha. That is one of the dialogues that clarifies this for the audience. That is why he is able to read it towards the end.
This movie i hate but i love the stars of the movie it was painful two people in love and never get to be together i get to hate Raj Kapoor the way he treated her in the movie as if she was cheating on him he push him self in between two people in love and i cried so much for her she is the queen of intertainment ,at ,90 and still dancing i love her god bless you darling 🙏🏼🇨🇦🇬🇾
This film is a copy of Andaz triangle. Raj got Nargis, and Dilip died. Here Raj wanted to show his gain of Vaijantimala again, and have Dilip die. But rajendra filled the role.

The most disappointing film of Raj Kapoor.My personal opinion.Radha loves Gopal Gopal also loves Radha.But Hero of the film,Sunder doesn't understand the love between them.Sunder express his love for Radha in a love letter written in handwriting of his friend Gopal because Sunder can not write Hindi.😅Radha recognise the handwriting of Gopal and assume that Gopal has expressed his love.All of a sudden Sunder becomes Fighter pilot in Indian Air Force.Not knowing Hindi😅. While Sunder takeoff the fighter plane, Radha runs on runway of Defence Air port crying and saying that" I don't love you, Sunder." Disgusting 😢😢😢😢😅😅. Many more flaws in the film.After watching the film the aura of songs in the film diminished 😢😢.Raj Kapoors many other films are much better than this Super Duper Hit Film of 1966.My personal opinion.Many may differ.
the big drawback of the movie is raj kapoor himself he look too old to play lover roles, above that sundar character playing with feelings of radha and using gopal adds more negativity to movie, people felt happy when sundar disappear for some time and gopal radha gets united if sundar charecter was played by younger shammi or shashi kapoor the negativity of the movie would have decreased songs made this movie blockbuster
@@sri013 It is been heard and read that the shots of shooting in foreign countries was the attraction of the movie for the viewers which also made the film a super hit film.No doubt photography and picturization of songs always remained Classic in any of RK movie.
@@shrishwagh3249 Its first film of india which was picturized in europe so for audience of that time its new so they added value but overall there was nothing in that europe shoot which adds to movie. Only Vyjayanthi mala dance for budda milgaya is great and also appreciated. I think collections of the movie are because of songs picturization , grandeur and photography. Star power added more collections

Dilip Kumar rightly refused to play the role of Rajindar Kumar though Raj Kapoor desperately wanted Dilip in this role.
