    Great podcast though guys! Most sports podcasts avoid being real and avoid politics which is clearly tied to when it comes to representing national teams 👏

    Imagine making a hurricane out of a glass of water for a dance. Support your boys. USA national team is small enough and unsupported at it is.

    Dear Tim Howard, what are your thoughts on that 2011 finals against Mexico. More specifically, the god-level goal Giovani Dos Santos scored on you?! Genuinely curious your thoughts along with Donavan’s

      I wonder what the psychology is being a keeper giving up that goal and then having to face Gio again in later marches for club and country

    I agree with what you guys says about Pulisic - I didn't even think of Trump when he did the dance because other players were dancing too - But like if a reporter asks you about it - own it and be honest - be a man

    Tim, what do you think about what is happening with Aaron Rodgers having as much power as he had with the Jets? Is that similar to the situation at Inter Miami and Messi? I think Aaron has botched this situation so badly, that it will change how GM's treat star quarterbacks in the future.

    • @tatiabril-k4h

      its more similar to the JJ Redick as coach of the Los Angeles Lakers been close friend of Lebron James; Mascherano was hired because of being friend with Messi and also was team-mate with Busquets-Suarez-Alba

    Question: There are rumors of LA Galaxy getting Lewondoski next season. The last couple of seasons, LA has really switched things around by going after young players in their prime. Do you think they should go for a player like Pepi instead ? LA has not had a high caliber USMNT player since Landon retired and I think we need that representation in the biggest soccer city in the US.

    Landon, how do you feel about MLS overstepping San Diego loyal to create SDFC separately. Will you still support them?
    Landon and Tim, why do you guys hate on Jurgen Klinsmann so much? From an outside perspective, he overachieved in the WC in 2014. What is your reasoning on how he hurt the USMNT?

    • @EpicGammingCrew
      @EpicGammingCrew 26 дней назад

      I’m middle of the road on jurgen, but those that argue that he hurt usmnt would point to failing to qualify for 2018 and having no defined a style of play

    Pulisic doesn't need to justify anything to any of us. We had to suffer from the grifter Meagan Rampino for many years and she actually monetize her political stance. The fact that Howard can't state that Marta is one of the greatest in the women's game rather he phrases it in a neutral way that's part of the problem. I love these two Usmnt legends and I'll continue to support them despite their woke views but jeez grow a pair fellas.

    Tim, you equated mistakes in your life to him supporting a political candidate. You are saying you don't care who he voted for and then immediately calling it a mistake. I agree, own up to mistakes. But this is not a mistake by him but a choice. Nobody needs a lecture from a 26-year-old soccer player on his politics. Luckily, he is ignoring the noise and just going out and playing soccer.

    I don't think the Klinsmann era was a disaster. I understand why Landon sees it that way. I think the disaster was bringing back Bruce Arena and crashing out of qualifying.

    • @jorgeacevedo2872
      @jorgeacevedo2872 Месяц назад +3

      Klinsmann lost to Mexico at home and then to Costa Rica in qualifiers. Before that he was having terrible results including a loss to the mighty Guatemala. Bruce came in and rescued us from the bottom but unfortunately his loss to T&T cost us big time and that's all people will remember but we were definitely screwed over by Klinsmann.

    • @mrbuckmeister
      @mrbuckmeister Месяц назад

      @jorgeacevedo2872 you are conveniently leaving out his whole record incharge.
      There's a reasonable argument that we should change coaches after one cycle. Even if Klinsman should have been let go before the second round of qualifying, that doesn't make his era a disaster.
      Bruce shouldn't have been brought back anymore than we should bring back Klinsman now. Bruce coached and selected the team that lost to a B team in Trinidad. It's silly to pretend he isn't responsible for losing that game and us being eliminated.
      Tim doesn't blame anyone who wasn't in Trinidad for the loss of the elimination. Despite being one of the best, I would argue the best, keepers we have ever had he knows the whole team including the coach failed that day. Tim is a man of integrity.
      To be clear Landon is a man of integrity too and I respect all he has done. We just disagree on this point.

    • @mrbuckmeister
      @mrbuckmeister Месяц назад

      @jorgeacevedo2872 right. Arena was such an amazing tactician that he couldn't even tie Trinidad's B team.
      Arena is so amazing that in his second cycle the team imploded and failed to make it out of the group in Germany.

    • @jorgeacevedo2872
      @jorgeacevedo2872 Месяц назад

      @@mrbuckmeister no Arena was no Pep Guardiola but he was better than Klinsmann.

    • @mrbuckmeister
      @mrbuckmeister Месяц назад

      @jorgeacevedo2872 right. The standard isn't Bruce Arena or any other coach. We are comparing Kinsman to a complete disaster. Objectively his time in charge was not a complete disaster.
      Objectively, Klinsman was not responsible for us losing to Trinidad.
      I would add that neither Arena nor Klinsman are great tacticians. There's a reason that neither one is coaching at elite clubs. I honestly think they are pretty similar. They get by on personality and fame. Klinsman has the advantage of having played professionally at the highest levels and winning a World Cup. One thing I like about Klinsman is he called us on our arrogant BS.
