It’s always great to watch these. Keep ‘em coming Adam. Love those times when you randomly put two clips together and they just work magically/amazingly together. 😊
Hi, Greetings from Argentina, I really like this kind of stuff, most that you analise brings great clues how you work your storytelling and not the typical cronologic way , thanks.
Where have you been you slacker!! Very useful and more of these from an editing perspective would be great. A good edit can make such a difference to a film from being good to being next level, so yes please… keep em coming!!
Love this Adam, i owuld love to be able to mix up the day nore instead of purely chronological so think theres some good tips here to help me with that ...ive also tried my own rewind intro at a pub and beer garden wedding i did last august, needless to say you oulled it off way better than me, great stuff would love to see more inside the edit videos. Cheers Darren.
omg Adam this is GOLD. Honestly - you are the best. I'm currently working on a film with a similar vibe - huge party energy etc, a Serbian-Australian-Maori family! I'd love to try and incorporate something similar for their opening as I have a mad dancefloor and haka and all sorts. Would you be cross if I stole your AMAZING idea of the heartbeat with the groom waiting? It might not work, but I love it SO much and would love to give a try for this couple! (The groom even spoke his vows without the mic so only his bride (and my RODE mic hehe) could hear him! So it would be perfect!!) If it works out, I'll give you a nod/@ when I post it!
Love your work fella, thank you for sharing. It's really helpful to have creators like yourself, sharing ideas, and workflows for people learning the trade. I would like to ask how do you go about music for a feature 15 to 30 min wedding film. Do you use popular top 40s music and if so how do you get a license for it etc
Appreciate that Nick thank you! I don’t use chart music at all, impossible to get licensed. For everything I use either MusicBed .com or Artlist. They have some fantastic tracks
Oh ok, thank you for that update mate. Just 1 more question on this subject, do you send your clients to your music website so they can choose or do you just choose yourself for the editing of the long film?
@AdamWingFilms if you would like to have a look at some of my work that I have produced I'm at @ReelSoloMedia this work is when I had a partnership company for wedding, music videos and promotional videos, but sadly the pandemic cost us too much money and we shut down. 3 years out and I have decided to get back into it but solo this time. My business partner dealt with all the licensing stuff, and I'm now currently setting it all up, hopefully be ready soon. So it's always good to learn new styles and ways of filming and editing so very greatful of people like yourself.
Pls do more of these 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Will do! I’ve got another in the pipeline for the new year 😊
