My favorite montage sequence is from "School of Rock", when the Jack Black character practices music with the kids, and by that, he bonds with them in a nice way. Cool!
Thanks! This is why I hate a lot of modern apps that make you edit clips automatically, without any soul in it, because the scenes are randomly done and stitched together and especially for podcasts and discussions, where you will see a closeup when someone is saying nothing important and master shot when it's important. Its really soulless thing to do just to save time. People need to see this to understand how important it is for the human involvement in the editing, no matter how fast or slow the process is, you always need someone to consciously decide what goes where and for how long and how it goes to the next shot and the overall feel and the mini story as you said. Only thing auto on edit I like is when the app decides to cut shots to separate them and to recognize faces, but all just as the basic setup before the actual editing where you decide.
@@Zeigerful Maybe. Im talking about some instagram ads I saw of apps that edit it for you. I like the idea of AI automatically separating clips where there is a cut and new digital cameras recognizing faces, for wedding shoots. As for posdcasts, i dont know what it was, but changing camewras like on ATEM Pro or whatever, should be your own, unless youre the only person streaming on RUclips or Twitch, playing a musical instrument and if you allow it to automatically change shots. Some musicians play and click to change angles manually, and that is cool. (Devin Townsend for example)
I really liked the advice on the proper use of split screenshots, where parallel storylines are intertwined. I could have figured out that you can't use them only in one scene for the entire 3-minute video, so the storyline is shown throughout. It is necessary to continue, but without frills, to apply this style of demonstrating scenes in the frame. You have opened my eyes to this stylistic technique in the installation. Very notable
As always fantastic tutorial, I absolutely love your channel! Btw, I noticed you've lost weight. It's great to see your progress. Keep up the amazing work.
Hello Chris, I have a quiz, how do you get your exported file ,smaller yet high quality? My export are so massive in size and if it try reducing the bit rate the quality starts breaking up, kindly advise
Hey Chris, is there a new course that you guys are coming up with? If yes, any possibility of making an extensive sound design course for film editors?
I hate to clog your comment section but dang, another timely fantastic video. Thank you so, so much again. Btw, looking 💪 buff bro. Ya doin time at Gold’s gym?🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Hey Mark! We don’t, as every student of ours is technically a “student” so it gets a bit messy. We just have our pricing set and don’t really touch it.
@@zubairahmed6800 it's not just in today's era. filmmaking has improved, developed through time. filmmakers trying different things, that's called creativity. But the fact that they made the whole episode a montage is just brilliant.

The things you are talking about are no apps that edit clips together automatically. You are talking about a completely different thing alltogether.

This is just fantastic material 💯 . Hope you continue to do more on the editing side vs the effects side.
Cheers

What about the fast pace/quick cut montage, the “hot fuzz” type of montage. A video about that would be great!
I learn a lot from you guys

Wondering, what's the difference between montage and music video
do you guys offer student discounts?

is this video from one of your trainings?
long montage is not a mistake watch the bear s03 e1 the whole ep is a montage
It's just a episode like montage but not real montage
@zubairahmed6800 what does real montage mean
@@nazrulhaque5986 in today's era everyone is experimenting with different editing styles to make something new.

@@zubairahmed6800 but still i didn't get your point on real montage what needs to happen, to be a real montage
'Montage' - What year is this 1912?... It's called a sequence.
