These are actually canal Locks, a group of the are called a staircase, Caen Hill Locks are about as extreme as you can get. Look up the Anderton Boat Lift or the Falkirk Wheel for actual boat lifts.
I see. Thanks for this correction. English is my 2nd language and I could not express this better at the time. Since I have been told I will consider changing the topic of the video in the future.
This is not a staircase, this is a flight of locks, as is Caen Hill and many others. A staircase is a flight of locks which are not separated by pounds and must be worked as one continuous lock. A flight of locks are worked individually.
@Paola Raquel - I may need to check more about Argentina in 2020. I frankly know nothing, based on tv when I was a baby, Argentina used to be a poor country understood as money wealth, but am I right you people love sport, football?
@Paola Raquel Of course I heard about him. I never knew he is Argentinian - good to know now. I even just read about him on Wikipedia. Greetings for you!
I would never decide on such way of life. Usually such people swap their property for a narrow boat, right? For me the reason is to be in uncomfortable conditions when you compare to a life on land.
Decent. I only took a trip by similar boat in Birmingham - during summer time they have such service, mainly for tourists I guess. This is the one: ruclips.net/video/AmhY4pqABfU/видео.html
Thank you. I have been in the UK since more than two years already and from my beginning in Birmingham only. It was a nice experience to see such narrow boat while changing the level of canal to continue its journey.
That's Farmers Bridge flight of locks. Been up and down them afew times..

@@ZenHarmony yep. Still a poor country. Yep, football is very popular . Have you heard of Leonel Messi? He's Argentinian.
@Paola Raquel Of course I heard about him. I never knew he is Argentinian - good to know now. I even just read about him on Wikipedia. Greetings for you!

Have a look at ruclips.net/video/fiMsYzL1ziU/видео.html

Indeed hehe
Farmer's Bridge flight.
Nearly went there
I think it is a good place to see locks "in action".
Very interest.
Thank you. I am not happy due to my English, but hopefully the content after this video is better in this term.
Zen Harmony your English is good enough for me to understand. Gracias.
Thank you! I hope I am better now at English than before. Anyway thanks for the positive words.
